Not a friendly atmosphere. The day before our reservation we received a reminder phone call in which we were told that dinner has a 2-hour limit. This is usually enough time even with dessert and coffee, but it seemed awkward to have the clock on us when we are paying the rather high prices for everything we order. Next time we will visit Shula's or Ralph Lauren restaurant instead.
Also Stetsons doesn't have their own restrooms. You need to stand in line with the conventioneers in the Hyatt lobby. Yikes!
Just a cluster. Food is very good however service has much to be desired.
Showed up with all 4 guests for a 7:00pm reservation early 6:40. Was told can’t be seated too early. (Restaurant was not full)
However we went to bar and brought back drinks as requested. Was told couldn’t stand in bar. Was taken back by the fact that 2 more groups for 7:00 reservations showed up at 6:55 and were seated before us. Total lack of respect or just poor operations
Dinner was Excellent food top notch. Gets better though. In my Hotel room 45-60 later my server called my personal cell number and said “you didn’t pay for your meal”. I was really caught off guard since I had my $420 receipt with me.
Spoke with manager and he apologized. But really poor taste. He ran my card I signed and left a tip. Just hard to believe the server can’t keep track of his paperwork. Or be able to Lonoke in computer.
In closing food is Excellent if you want to put up with poor service go for it. It not stay away.
The filet mignon and ribeye filet were prepared perfectly. French onion soup must have been prepared by Julia Child. Vegetable medley of Brussels sprouts, sweet potato, and bacon in a maple sauce was unbelievable. Superior service - couldn’t be more pleased.
Waited 20-25 minutes for waiter to ask us if we wanted to order, had questions, wanted anything to drink. Service continued like that throughout the meal, where we had to actively flag him down to get anything. It wasn't very busy, despite it being a Saturday night, but it was like the waiter couldn't be bothered with us. When he did talk to us, he was unfriendly from the get-go. Food was fine; nothing special.
The food was awesome! (We were here the night before for sushi, cocktails, soup, appetizer & dessert, so decided to return the next night as well for the same thing/s!) The service was extremely slow (& somewhat inefficient?); however, we had a big lunch earlier somewhere else so we weren't "starving" and we had no where to be afterwards, so we weren't in a hurry! Therefore, the slow service did not affect us adversely this night or the night before! We really enjoyed it & had a fun & great experience!
The food was very disappointing for the price and we were seated by a service counter.. I requested flowers and a special desert and it was never mentioned nor did I receive a call about it. It was really loud and it took forever to get our food..our server disappeared for a while and at that point I guess I was glad I was by the service counter cause I had to as another server to help me and before I new it we had 3 servers... just disappointing.. My bill after they took the steak off was still like $180.. stupid.. just stupid.. I could have got a better steak and king crab at red lobster or longhorn... 💰🙈👏🏼
The restaurant turned out to be in a Hyatt Regency. It had all the right cues. Open kitchen, modern luxury ambiance, prompt and courteous service...all check. The "meh" part turned out to be the food. While not bad by any means, it just did not stand out in a city of really, really good food. It was all just too expected with the delivery and quality for the price point, actually below average for the price point. Martinis...OK, sushi...good, salad....OK, Chef special pasta...OK, prime rib...decent. The stand out was the service which means a lot when the food is "OK."
Highly disappointed!! 6 of us out for business dinner and all 6 meals were not worth the $50+ spent! We barely ate the food it was that bad! DO NOT get the filet, ribeye steak, ribs, baked potato, carrots, slaw. Also, servers took almost 20mins to get drink order and another 10 for dinner order. Wish we just left and gotten a pizza. We were there over 2hrs.
