I always look forward to a visit to Sterlings and I have never been disappointed. The waiters are terrific as are the managers. The food is always delicious. I love the escargot, a Caesar salad and a bone in rib eye. You can't go wrong.

Like always this place delivers an absolutely amazing steak. My favorite steak place in Reno.

Took my 10 yr old son out for his first fine dining experience, and it was everything he had hoped for! Kody and marissa were awesome and took great care of us! Carlos really impressed my son!

My girls first fancy restaurant Experience and or server Jason and Jake were very accommodating and made us feel very comfortable. The food was amazing and the wine was a good price.

Great dining experience! Cooper was get attentive when needed. Food was exceptional. First time for me but not for my date. Guess might be our last. Understand closing soon.

Great food, service and atmosphere as usual. Will be sad to see this steakhouse close.

Crab cake was swimming in butter, soggy and without much taste.
Salads were plain, white lettuce.
Clam chowder had so much black pepper it burned our throat.
We will not be returning.

Poor service, waiter sounded sick, not friendly. We planned dinner, show and overnight stay...worst night. Food was terrible(no seafood in raviolis), show was ok, rooms small. Check in took 40 minutes...we are locals (no discounts) and this was disappointing evening. Would not recommend. Over priced and over rated!

Great place, vary warm and friendly staff; Albert is our favorite :) We always make it a point to eat here when we come to Reno.

After decades of enjoying Sterling, it came to our attention that it will be closing its doors and replaced with a franchise steak house. We certainly hope that our favorites, who have worked at Sterling's for decades, will be hired and present. Carlos, who greets us and ensures that every one of our needs is met, and our favorite servers, Larry and Morgan. We will miss Sterling tremendously.

Our waiter was excellent. The food was amazing. Very sorry to hear that they are going to shut it down and open under a different name. This has always been a restaurant that Reno was proud of. I know change is important in a casino, but if it's not broken.....

The food was good but service was the best. Great service all the way around. Gary, Morgan and the gentleman that helped wait our table were excellent. It really made our night. We had a great time. The fact they took the time to give us a card for our anniversary really made my wife’s evening.

Great restaurant and it's ran like a fine machine. Steaks are perfect. The only knock is for the price all u get is a wonderful steak and barely any veggies and potatoes. Service is how a restaurant should operate

Classy steakhouse atmosphere with excellent service all around. Ramon was terrific! The crab serving was very generous and the filet mignon was prepared perfectly. Both were delicious, as were the sides. We're looking forward to coming back!

This restaurant is consistently good. Have never had a bad meal there. They're filet mignon is melt-in-your mouth good.

We made a same day reservation to celebrate our anniversary. Once we arrived there was confetti on the table a card with a drink certificate included to celebrate our anniversary. Everyone from the hostess at the front to each and every employee we encountered were friendly, helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Our water glasses never emptied. The house wine was great and the service was simply impeccable.

Started off with great service during seating, then with the wait staff, then the meal, and finally the dessert (the raspberry caramel sauce might be the best dessert sauce I've ever tasted).

Steak ordered medium-rare came out medium-well. It happens. They were gracious and got it fixed right away. Bone-in rib-eye could have been a bit thicker for this type of steakhouse. Food was outstanding otherwise. Risotto was awesome. We’ll go back.

Our lobster came barely warm and it was tough. First not so good meal there, so I'll go back; still, disappointed.

Our server was amazing! But sad to see that the food quality has dropped- 2 of the dishes were over cooked! And they used to have a great dessert cart and they don’t anymore!

We are local, but had never tried Sterling's. The service was excellent. The food was tasty. My only complaint would be that it's a little over-priced. The quality was worth it though. And the pistachio cheesecake was amazing.

Spent the weekend in Reno celebrating my husband’s birthday. Sterling’s Food, service and atmosphere was perfect. Staff professional and Gary, the manager stopped by our table several times, offering menu suggestions and was very entertaining. Good food and great service!

Service was poor. Our waiter rarely checked back. The sommelier & busboy provided better service. Two out of four in our party had stomach issues the next day. We are big fans of bistro roxy & la strada. We will not return to Sterling’s.

WE DINE AT THIS RESTAURANT EVERY TIME WE COME TO RENO. WE LOVE IT DEARLY. THEY SERVE THE BEST RIBEYE STEAKS AND THEY HOUSE SALAD WITH CREAMY BASIL DRESSING IS NOT ONLY BEAUTIFULLY PRESENTED BUT ALSO DELICIOUS.
