Sterlings Bistro Ratings and Reviews
I love this place it is my favorite. We took some of our friends and they love it to. I would recommend the dragon fire shrimp, the French onion soup is the bomb. I love the scallops, salmon, my husband loves the filet. I also love the sparkling sangria so delicious. Whatever you get you will not go wrong. Love,Love,Love it!!!!
We visited family in the area and this is a favorite dining spot. We had a nice table and an excellent waiter (James) I would recommend this place for it's varied menu and comfortable setting. We each tried something different: salmon, sea bass, lobster and surf & turf. Everyone was pleased with the choices made. I had the sea bass and it was excellent, I would highly recommend it.
The waiter was top notch, we went before the dinner rush, so it was quiet, but started to pick up when we were leaving. The food was excellent, my wife liked her mixed drink, my draft beer was a good temperature and had great flavor. The atmosphere was intimate enough for a romantic date, this is an all around good place, we recommend highly
Have had dinner at this restaurant a handful of times and it does not disappoint. On one occasion, the server didn't listen/do as I asked, but that was an isolated situation. Other than that one irritating experience, the service and food have been uniformly excellent.
The menu is interesting and well conceived and the dishes well executed. It's a very attractive room that has been maintained very nicely, making it a go-to restaurant for just about any purpose, be it business or personal.
Our experience was perfect. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and our server, Mary Grace, went above and beyond to make it a special experience. From the food, to the hand written card, and everything between, this was a fabulous dining experience and we'all absolutely be back to Sterlings' Bistro to celebrate special occasions!
The food was disgusting. I ordered salmon and my boyfriend ordered whitefish. The salmon was slathered in BBQ sauce and I think it was to try to mask the old rotting fish smell. My boyfriend's whitefish was the same. It tasted like a rotting, old fish. The menus were sticky. It was the first time and the last time at Sterling's Bistro.
The service was excellent. All the dishes served except for the Filet Mignon were very good. The Filet was not prepared correctly - and the second time was but not very tasty.
All the fish dishes were very good per the other people at our table eating those.
We were there early so it was very quiet and we had excellent service. We had the "special" prime rib and blackened shrimp which was excellent as were the garlic mashed potatoes. Also enjoyed the "half price bottle of wine" since it was Wednesday. Altogether an enjoyable meal.
Husband and I decided on a last minute date night. Got a sitter and were surprised to be able to get an Open Table less than 30 minutes before we arrived. Large party with noisy / crying children seated near us. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. Disappointed in appetizer, GIANT chunks of onion inside the Meatball Lollipops. Neither my husband or I ate it. Had the fruit salad and it was okay. Husband got Prime Rib and I got Berry Salmon. Husband loved his meal. He said potatoes were great and the prime rib was well done. My salmon itself was tasty and flaky, but the wild rice and topping for the salmon was not very good. I ate the salmon and ditched the rice. We looked at the small dessert menu and passed. We will not be going back.
