I'm a local Las Vegan. My brother is visiting me from New York. Yesterday was his birthday. I wanted to take him someplace really special to celebrate. Since he had never been to the Sterling Brunch at Bally's, that made the decision simple. There were 8 of us. Our server, Lupita, had a great 'Attitude'. She kept our Perrier champagne glasses filled, while being attentive to the special needs of some of my guests with mobility issues...without even being asked.
I also want to give a special 'shout out' to Hugo...he was our server the last time my friends and I were at the Brunch. Hugo was so great that he set the tone for our wanting to return. Sterling Brunch Bottom line: Very welcoming staff, well-prepared high quality food.
At $105.00 ++ per person it is pricey, but you get great value for the $$$$. Highly recommend!!
Service was sub-par for any restaurant-including a buffet. Don’t expect too much in terms of service for a buffet-however- this the service was slow and the waitress was rude at times. The service started out nice upon seating...we were greeted immediately by the waitress with a pouring of champange and a nice welcome- but that would be the end of anything good about the service. We asked for orange juice and coffee also and waited 10 minutes for orange juice. Had to ask a busser for coffee and five minutes later got coffee. Asked waittress for ketchup and the response was “UGHHH....thats going to be a few minutes because its in another room”. Ketchup with brunch...is that really that difficult of a request? Orange juice and coffee refills were few and far between but Champagne came around automatically a couple of times. Need to wait a few minutes for plates to be cleared. Food selection was slim and the lobster tails were overcooked, oysters were scary looking. Prime rib, lamb and banana fosters french toast were exceptional. Most other items were pretty good overall. Keep in mind this is a $105 buffett- not a $39.99 buffet.
Finally got to check out the Sterling brunch @ Bally’s. Only offered on weekends and by reservation only. Pretty good but probably not worth the price tag. Lobster, filet mignon, crab, oysters, caviar, etc plus nice breakfast items like bananas foster french toast and a fancy omelet bar. Unlimited champagne and bloody marys are included if that is your thing. Everything was very good and very tasty, just not super warm. Make reservations at least 2 months in advance. No lines to stand in which a bonus.
This brunch is my must do every time I'm in Las Vegas. I plan my trip around going to the Sterling Brunch. Lobster tails, steak, champagne - everything I love - and all you can eat. The service and food is impressive. It's expensive for a brunch, but worth every penny. I'm already planning my next visit.
Sterling Brunch is a Las Vegas institution, so I had to come try it at least once. Luckily I had a $100 comp to soften the blow. Everything was delicious, but I was hoping for slightly more variety. I wouldn't pay full price, but part of the reason why is because I can't pack away the food like i used to!
I really came for the crab legs and lobster tails and every time I went to grab more they were all dry. The crab legs were terrible and dry. If I’m correct those Alaskan king crab legs had the most and sharpest spikes on them. It made them so hard to peel even with the cracking utensil, bc the shell was so moist, it wouldn’t even crack, it would just bend. I ended up not even eating more, because it hurt that bad and when I did get the meat out, it was dry. Def not worth it because of the quality of the food. Def Don’t recomment if it’s always like that.
Great buffet that comes with bottomless champange, but is a little pricey. However, to me with it's great selection of seafood ranging from lobster, crab, shrimp, sushi, caviar and more kind of makes it worth it. I would defiantly recommend it for people to try at least once. I will defiantly be back if I'm ever in Vegas for a Sunday brunch
Selection of meat and seafood are excellent very good quality and high end ingredients had used to flavor the food. Unfortunately very very disappointed with the selection of desserts!!! Low grade quality uneven portions this kind of product for the price Is not worthy this are considered BOX DESSERTS!!! Wake up PASTRYCHEF this is not acceptable!!!
Glad we were able to get here a second time this trip.. Jim our Server took excellent care of us as he did the previous week when we were in for the brunch.. We enjoyed everything, and looking around the room at the others visiting seemed to be enjoying the food and experience as well.. Everyone was great, from the Friendly Personal Greeting and Champagne by the Hostess Staff to the folks supporting the Brunch line.. Especially the guys at the Omelette and chilled Seafood stations.. They were great, personable and did a very nice job taking care of us... Can't wait until we're back in town again to spend time here at the Sterling Brunch.. Always a high point of our trip!!!

They have a lot of expensive food to try to make it worth the price you will pay. However, that food is NOT cooked good. All of the meats were overcooked, except for the prime rib, which you are served a sliver of (not thick and juicy as a prime rib should be). Most definitely not worth the price. The bread and dessert were amazing, but certainly did not make up for the $100 you are going to pay.
Looked forward to our visit here as we always do when here in Vegas.. And this visit was no disappoint. table was ready, greeting was friendly, server Jim was great did not miss a beat, people we spoke with supporting the serving stations were great.. And nice to chat with while picking or being served your food.. Champagne flutes were kept full and the table neat and set..Super seating as always..

Notable high value items: Lobster tails and fillet mignon.
Delicious meat with gamy flavor: Rack of lamb.
Suggest you make a late reservation (closes at 2pm) when it's less crowded. When we arrived, 12:30pm, the fillet mignon kept running out.
Do not waste your money ($105). Limited food selection. They had stone crabs which were not cracked & did not have the proper sauce for the crabs. When I asked about the mustard sauce served with stone crabs, they had no clue what I was talking about.
The only good point was unlimited champagne.
This is the ultimate Sunday brunch in Las Vegas. Free flowing quality champagne, rather high quality although less variety since moving to the steakhouse with less festive atmosphere. $107 tab ain’t cheap, but a fair value especially given Vegas prices these days. Service from (Dolf sp?) was excellent.
Firstly greatly overpriced for choice and quality of food.
Champagne is refilled frequently but does not make up for food situation.
Best item available was rack of lamb, other items mediocre including lobster tails which were not well cooked.
Oysters were available but very small.
Very surprised at level of choice, seemed limited vegetable or salad selection.
Dessert selection quite limited.
Having booked months in advance very disappointed would be an understatement.
My comment to my guest at brunch was that I related our experience to the day a kid finding out that Santa or the tooth fairy was not real. We had been looking forward to this brunch and planned our travels around the available reservation - as this was going to be the highlight and 'big' meal of our stay - since most other meals were comped. We had eaten at the Sterling brunch several years ago and absolutely loved it. All I can say about this last visit was sheer disappointment. It would pass off as a standard buffet if the price was a third of what it was - and if our expectations weren't so high. To start, we weren't even offered any juice, or the famous mimosas and bloody Marys that the buffet was known for. Second, we looked forward to a mix of buffet and server style dining - but found out they had changed the format (again) obviously to save money. There was no caviar present and we had to ask the cooks in the buffet line to refill caviar portions. They responded in a not so pleasant manner and filled 3 small bowels with small amounts of caviar from a squeeze bag - not at all appealing. Gone were the small dishes of 'extra's that used to accompany the prized delicacy. Lobster looked presentable - but was over cooked and flavorless. Crab legs (if you can even call them that) were very small, not split, and gone was the option to have them steamed and split. They tasted like the leftovers from the BLT's Sat. night dinner. Lobster bisque was better than some others we had at the strip - but completely lacking chunked lobster - and the flavor was spiced but in need of salt and pepper - which oddly was not available at any of the nearby tables. Our server did clear plates and refill Champagne(at first) but lacked any of the charm that made our previous visits so memorable. I will not be returning to this buffet which is sad because it was the one attraction that got me personally excited about our entire stay. So far- the Wynn's $20 breakfast beat this hands down
AWESOME - that is all I can say. When we were in Vegas 3 years ago, we weren't able to get a reservation, so this year I made our reservation in August for our November visit. At first I was a little concerned on the price - currently $105 per person before tax and tip, but after visiting, this buffet is totally worth it. I love seafood so highly recommend the lobster. I tried the cavier and that is nothing special to me. The filet and truffle mashed potatoes were also very good. I loved the lobster bisque soup as well ~ I actually cut up some of my lobster tail and added to the soup. It was delicious!! My husband said the king crab was awesome, he also enjoyed the lobster and also recommended the rack of lamb. We will definitely be back. If you love seafood, this is the Las Vegas buffet for you, but remember, it's only a Sunday brunch and make your reservation in advance.
