Wonderful evening. Our hostess Cameron and our waiter Mike went out of their way to make us feel special. The food was extraordinary.

Simply one of the best restaurants in Richmond. Maybe THE best. We were there for the first night open after the COVID-19, so there were half as many tables inside as usual. That also made it quieter than usual.

Our appetizers were amazing. One starter that we had was a “Tomato fritter” special. It was incredible. So much flavor!

My wife and I opted for the fish special instead of the usual traditional Greek fare. It was grilled rockfish on a bed of “Greek succotash”. I was shocked at how much flavor a succotash could have. Absolutely delicious.

The service is always good, with knowledgeable servers that know the menu well.

Be sure to book 3 or more months out if you want to get into Stella’s! There’s a way on this app that you can scroll ahead to dates or try to book a date that is full and then scroll to what the app offers. I believe this is how they book out so fast. Make sure on a cold night you request a table not near the door and if only two of you are dining be prepared to sit very close to the couple next to you. We would go again and try the brunch next time!

Loved my birthday celebration..food delicious. We had good service but waiter spoke quickly and I fear we may have missed some of the yummy specials. Loved the relaxed family atmosphere..everyone appeared to be having a lovely evening!

Stella's never disappoints. We had a party of 6 and every person absolutely loved their food. We started with Saganaki, Kalamari and grilled octopus and each one was scarfed up. The filet with crab was spectacular. The roasted chicken is always stellar as well. Of course we had several desserts and each one was delicious. This is such a special place!

If it were possible to give a higher than five-star rating, we certainly would. This is not just Greek food. The food is sophisticated, complex and imaginative. The dishes are prepared by a skilled chef who knows how to successfully combined ingredients creating a unique and delightful end product. I only wish Stella's was closer so that we could go more frequently.

From start to finish everything was delicious. We started with their mushroom soup and their oyster special . The oysters were probably some of the best I’ve ever had. The rockfish special was crazy good . We ended with salted caramel gelato . Creamy deliciousness

Very friendly wait staff, and very delicious--and unusual--Greek food. Also, very full on a weeknight (that's a GOOD sign). We were only able to obtain a reservation for 9:00 pm ... with a couple of days of advance notice. So here's a tip: A good idea is to make your dining plans for Stella's well in advance.

We were visitors from northern Virginia, and we can happily report that we dined very well in Richmond. And Stella's was certainly the finest meal we consumed in that fair city.

Stellas is Mediterranean dining at its best and freshest... from the grilled calamari to the planks of fresh feta everywhere, you’ll be delighted by the depth of flavor and the attention to detail in every dish. It was crowded inside, but in a pleasant, bustling city way, and the experience left me feeling cosmopolitan and satiated. The story is charming, the food is well planned and delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful— you can’t miss!

This is one of Richmond’s best restaurants in terms of longevity. They have been around forever, and it is with good reason. They serve up some of the best Greek and Italian comfort food in the city, the atmosphere is vibrant, a little noisy, but the activity just makes the experience that much better. This is one of our favorites, and we will return many times.

This was our first time at the restaurant, and it lived up to all the enthusiastic recommendations we received when we moved to Richmond A couple of months ago. We sat next to a Greek couple who came all the way from Virginia Beach, as they do often just to have a meal at Stella’s. The food was sublime, and the service warm and exceptional.

My fiancé and I absolutely LOVE Stellas and always enjoy when we are able to make it in. They are always busy which is amazing. Food is top notch, drinks are wonderful and the experience is all around a 10/10. It’s definitely one of (if not #1) my favorite restaurants in Richmond and/or all of VA.
