We were a table for 4 and 2 liked the food and 2 were disappointed. We've dined here before and usually they had a few specials to add to the menu but not this time. So I would return, but not for a while. It could have been an off night in the kitchen.
We had an absolutely wonderful meal here, and will definitely be back. There was a long wait because the chef decided the last piece of swordfish wasn't big enough to serve, but otherwise service was good.
We have dinner at Stella Sera twice and both experiences were stellar. Stellar Stella Sera. So there is a lot of consistency in attentive, warm service and absolutely delicious food. The calamari melts in your mouth. And the gnocchi are a must! They are like puffy potato cumulous clouds. And the no cork fee is great too. We went once with friends and another time with our parents and can't wait to go back.
We had a lovely meal at Stella Sera and the food was delicious! The service was a bit weird though - our server rushed us to order and didn't put in our appetizers until our whole order was in. He didn't tell us this until we asked for more time deciding on entrees. He seemed to rush us due to future reservations but when we left there were empty tables.
My caprese salad was one of the best I'd ever had. The dessert was fabulous. My husband loved the gnocchi but I didn't care for my veal entree. It seemed soggy and you could see the flour that it was coated with. That was dissappointing.
