Stella Barra Pizzeria - Hollywood
Pizza toppings range from prosciutto and egg to shaved mushroom to smoked bacon and can be served on a lighter “Thin Sin” pizza crust, or even gluten-free dough. Handcrafted breakfast items, fresh pastries and a selection of breads are available for carryout from the Market counter.
We dined at Stella Barr’s before seeing a show at the Pantages. The food was great and service was awesome
Pizza had too much onions on it. We ordered the most basic pizza and it wasn’t great. Crust is amazing though, just leave out the onions.
We stopped for dinner at Stella Barra before heading to the Pantages. The food was excellent and the service, very friendly and attentive. We had a great time.
They’re never not good
My sister referred me to this place and it was perfect for our needs. Two hour parking for $3 below with validation. We only had salad and pizzas, which were really excellent. The restaurant has a nice feel to it and it got very busy before we left. Corner property makes it a little easier to find street parking if you get there at the right time. Service was excellent! We will definitely return.
It was perfect. Thank you!
Great overall experience.
Pizza, Kale Caesar salad and brussels sprouts were a hit; chicken wings a miss. Huge portions.
Great food great music and great service.
I enjoyed the tomato bisque and white sauce mushroom pizza with my boyfriend when we visited! We came sort of late, at 9 PM, but there was still plenty of room so I don't think you would have to make a reservation if you came in at this time. Reasonable price for the food / portions, love the ambiance. Took a while to get seated because there was only one waiter who was working at the cafe so she had to finish up her stuff before helping us, which took a few minutes.
Pizza sin ninguna pretensión
Food very disappointing with no flavor on the kale salad, not enough cheese on the pizza and the soup had too much parmesan
It was my Sons birthday and it was such as great atmosphere and the staff member who waited on us was really kind and courteous. We gave him a thumbs up and tipped him $20 which was more than 18%.
Always enjoy coming to Stella Barra. Service is good, good salads and Pizzas. Not terribly impressed with wine selections, a single Pinot that was forgettable. Pleasant atmosphere, a good value overall.
We had the meatballs which were excellent and also the prosciutto & burrata. The Cacio & Pepe pizza was to die for.
I’d never been for brunch, but it was a very positive experience. Breakfast sandwich was quite good! Great location when visiting the ArcLight.
Food was good. Our waiter was nice and was able to answer our questions. I think our waiter was trying to man a lot of tables. I have found that normally the wait staff gets assigned too many tables so as it gets busy it is more difficult to get help or be checked on. The last time we were here 2 months ago our waitress was too busy and we wanted to order dessert but then she just dropped off the check and hustled on her way so we didn’t get any dessert. It was pretty noisy in the restaurant for a smaller sized place. I like this place a lot but wish they would hire more wait staff so it’s not so hectic.
Close to the theater, great pizzas, tomato bisque outstanding! Had a wonderful time with family!
I am a regular at Stella Barra — it is THE PERFECT place to meet a friend before or after seeing a movie at the Arclight next door. Their pizzas are delicious — especially the crust and any pizza with fresh fennel on it. The house-made burrata cheese is heavenly and their craft cocktails are out of this world — that said, I only ever get the HONEY BADGER cocktail, which they’ve renamed to the mo’ better something (their only bad idea was changing the name of this legendary cocktail!)
They retired the Sunday brunch menu and replaced it with the dinner menu. This was an affordable place for an appetizer and drinks before a movie but what we usually got was now over 3 figures. What happened to the Detroit pizzas? They were great but off the menu. So is the early happy hour. Will look fo a new place to eat.
They seated us right on time for a 6:30 dinner before a Palladium show. Waiter was nice and attentive. Food was yummy.
One of the best Pizzas I’ve had, good range of craft beers also - great place!
$16 for a burnt pizza that wasn’t comparable to even a good frozen pizza, service wasn’t very good, and there was a wierd and fairly loud soundtrack of mid 2000s pop - save yourself $30 and buy a j, go to Lil Caesers and watch Netflix instead
This was our second visit and the food was still great. My husband is a Neopolitan pizza snob and he loves their pizza! I was actually bummed that they weren't offering the Focaccia pizza. Only issue is that our waitress seemed to be returning after a long hiatus and wasn't sure about some recent changes. One recent change is the Happy Hour that used to be from 11 am - 6pm on Saturday/Sunday, but now is only 3p-6pm. Bummer.
The food is ok but they do a bad job of getting people seated on-time. More reliable options close by.
After several rounds of drinks and appetizers, we decided to give the pizza a try on this visit. It was beyond delicious!
Service slow food warm not hot
The pizza was, as always, FANTASTIC on our last visit ... but we were so disappointed to find our two favorite salads -- the caesar and the kale salad (with dates and slivered almonds) OFF the menu! We tried the new kale caesar -- it was just a lot of chopped kale, heavily dressed with a very oily and very fishy dressing. Ugh! Please bring back our favorites!
Came here based off of my friends rave review. Unfortunately, food wise, I was not thrilled. We ordered the truffle pizza and the margarita. The truffle lacked flavor and was a bit too heavy on the oil. The margarita was fine, but nothing special. The Brussels were amazing though. For the price and what I was expecting, I most likely will not return. Overall, the restaurant was nice and service was good.
I come here for the meatballs. The caesar salad with shaved brussels sprouts is very good too.
Food was great, but service was okay. I asked for a surprise birthday desert and our server forgot which kinda ruined the surprise
Always great! Service fantastic and food is delicious 😋
Great service, delicious food, spacious environment. What’s not to love?!
We celebrated my birthday there on Valentine’s Day. We arrived an hour early, and they still found a way to accommodate us. Any pizza can be made gluten free, and their GF chocolate walnut cookie was to die for! Everyone in our party of 7 was happy with what they ordered and there were no leftovers. Great service, we will definitely be back!
Is right next to the Cinerama Dome. The pizza is thin crust, my favorite, is very well executed. But the roasted Brussels sprouts were among the best I have ever had.
Great food, waitress was super nice and attentive. I was loud but still able to have conversation.
Waiter asked us to pay our check before we even received our order because he was changing shifts. It was a bit annoying. New waitress barely interacted with us. Tip, don’t go during shift change.
Great atmosphere. The pizza is tasty and the music is great. I really enjoy coming here.
The food has changed for the worse. I hadn't been in several months and the food has gone downhill.
Liked the spicy chicken wings!!!
