Stella Barra Pizzeria - Hollywood
Pizza toppings range from prosciutto and egg to shaved mushroom to smoked bacon and can be served on a lighter “Thin Sin” pizza crust, or even gluten-free dough. Handcrafted breakfast items, fresh pastries and a selection of breads are available for carryout from the Market counter.
Excellent eatery, great food, great setting, plenty of Parking. Overall, Stella Barra Pizzeria Hollywood is one of my top 10 restaurants! There is something for everyone...and during my last visit I ordered dessert which was not only unique, but absolutely outstanding!! Because what restaurant offers Homemade Cookies as Dessert? That reason in itself is worth a visit to Stella Barra!! The Cookies are large (enough for 2 adults to share), yummy and uniquely prepared!! But that's not all.. The Brussels Sprouts are beyond delicious, Pizza's thin, Flat Crust with a mouth watering variety to choose from plus Healthy, Tasty salads..Oh, and the Burrata, Wow! Just go, you will see :)
Food and service always fantastic! Brussels Sprouts Baby! Fantastic Pizzas, wings and salads. Save room for the best cookies in LA! Just way too loud! Acoustics suck, music volume is just too high.
Always consistently great.
I’m always happy with my experiences here
Service was very slow and very low communication. It was one of those dining experience where u have to basically chase down people for hell. On a busy day I can be more understanding. But the restaurant was practically empty, and I could identify multiple servers on the floor. Doubtful that I’ll return.
I’m on the hunt for pizza crust similar to what is served in Italy. This is pretty close!
This used to be one of our favorite affordable dining options in Hollywood..especially before a movie, being located right next to The Arclight. But the food has gone down hill from when they opened and for the price, we won’t be returning. After having a bad experience a year or more ago, we decided to give them another shot, but it solidified that it wasn’t a fluke. The pizza is mediocre at best.
Simply the best pizza! And everything else they make.
We always have a good experience at Stella Barra. The thin sin pizza crust is our favorite and the staff is always a good time.
Excellent food and great Sunday afternoon vibe for casual brunch!
The service was excellent and the food is consistently good here, a fine mid level restaurant for the pre movie crowd at the Arclight Cinema next door. Make reservations, its usually difficult to get in without them because it’s so busy all the time, that being said, same day reservations are fine.
Long wait for service
Consistent and always delish with a hip vibe but not too loud or overcrowded. Been coming here since it opened and always enjoy!
The food was good but overall I think it was overpriced a little.
I had the classic Margherita and the fried calamari. The calamari were very buttery but overall had no taste at all, as an Italian the pizza was quite disappointing and also lacking in any flavor. Given all the hype and the price ranges I was expecting way better. The service was optimal, very fast!
Stella Barra has a great ambiance and a really wonderful menu. We went for brunch and it was not crowded at all. However, our service was oddly slow and it took them a good 15 minutes to bring us coffee, when the place wasn't packed at all. Our waitress was nice, just not very attentive.
Great food, reasonable prices. Love the Bloomsdale Spinach & Kale pizza. Yum!
Amazing white mushroom pizza!
Great hostess, got me a table even thou I was 35 mins late!! Don’t even know her name:(
The food was good and the vibe was excellent. Our server didn't check back much once it got busy. At first she was great. The tables are a bit tight. But, I would go there again and also recommend it to pizza lovers.
always have a great time there, and love their pizza!
Visiting Hollywood with the family, we decided to try Stella Barra.
We enjoyed the pizza, we ordered the mushroom and the pepperoni pizzas - the crust was good, one was a little undercooked but still delicious. Our server was very sweet. But we hardly saw her. Three members of our party just had water, which they use very small cups for. Nobody was given a refill until after we were almost done eating, despite flagging her down several times and asking for more. It was a Monday evening and not at all crowded. The place is really cool, but when my friend when to use the restroom someone had gotten sick on the bathroom floor and it hadn’t been cleaned up yet. We would definitely try it again, the food was good and maybe we caught the server on an off night.
First time , we loved it. Mom in a wheelchair and very easy to get to our table.
Loved the avocado pesto pizza!
We went before our show at the Pantages Theatre and absolutely loved everything about this restaurant!
This is a nice little spot. Good food, but runs a tad pricy, which isn’t bad for the area, but still just above what I’m used to spending. Great service, really chill vibe with lots of energy. Depending on the hour you might be leaning in closer to have that conversation. A reliable experience as I’ve been here two or three times now.
A tip: servers are fairly busy, so I’d recommend having your drink and food order ready when they come by. I’ve never felt rushed by them, but it could be a beat before they circle around again on busier nights. The menu is pretty straightforward, so I’m never overwhelmed by four pages of cheesecakes like at other places.
Great food as usual and superb customer service!
Thank you very much for your great customer service.
We had a wonderful time. We made it in time for happy hour and ordered 3 appetizers, 2 pizzas and one pizza off the regular menu, all to share. Two of us ordered the hh wine and we shared two big, delicious cookies. I had joined their rewards club so I had a $15 credit off our bill. We had gone to see the Phantom of the Opera at the Pantages, everyone was outstanding, so walking to Stella Barria from the theatre was perfect and capped our evening off perfectly!
Really enjoyed our first visit to Stella Barra. We were seated quickly by welcoming staff. Food tasted excellent and the thin pizzas are delicious but they quickly went cold. Overall great food but felt like we were rushed in and out.
First time visiting Stella Barra and going back in a couple of weeks. Enjoyed everything about this place. Joe was our server and she was fantastic!
Great mushroom pizza and arugula salad. Lot of vegetarian options. Seating was very eclectic. Parking was easy. Service was very good and the server very helpful with our time constraint because we were running late for a show at Pantages theater. Helped us figure out parking solutions for the theater as well. We would go back.
Friend in town
Amazing salads and the thin crust pizzas are delicious!
Really good artisan Pizza and a social vibe - Plus it's close to Amoeba Music!!!
Pizza in many ways as good as Mozzarella without the hassle.
We loved it! The food was outstanding & the service was stellar. Drinks were a little too pricey to have more than one. They accommodated our party of 6 & it was fun. The place was half full when we arrived @ 5:45 PM but it was packed by 6:30. Not so sure about the music selection as they played a rap song that had very graphic language. Fortunately, I only heard the lyrics to this song when I was in the quiet restroom because on the floor it was hard to hear everyone at our own table. This limited our conversations to the persons sitting directly next to you. Great overall but not perfect.
Great food, bad server. We get, it's Fathers Day and I'm sure the last place you want to be it at work, but the attitude could have been left at the door. We never saw the server after he took our order. We had to flag down other servers to get water, that should've been brought to the table without us asking as we saw it done with others at the restaurant. It also looked like he was avoiding our table the whole time. Wasn't a great feeling to be ignored. I would still recommend going for the amazing pizza, but hopefully that server changes his tune.
I loved the restaurant itself— it had a great atmosphere and was super fun. It was super crowded and hard to walk around because the tables are so close together. Our service wasn’t good— the waiter checked on us maybe 3 times during our entire meal (we were there for a little more than an hour). The food was really good. I’d definitely come back, just hopefully with a better waiter.
