Very friendly server, really took care of us. we were there @ 3pm. not too busy. Great Kale salad and yummy mushroom pizza. I really liked the very thin crispy crust. They have 3 choices of crusts. A nice addition is the small but delicious bakery/expresso bar in front of restarant. Delicious cookies!!
great food, nice atmosphere. burrata is AMAZING, cesar salad super delish, and pizza is fantastic with thin crust. good idea to make reservations, sometimes it gets quite busy.
I have been going for a few years now, it is my go-to spot for after movies pizza
I was hopeful about this place. I really was. The brussel sprouts were amazing, the chips appetizer were very good, and the burrata was better than fair (needed salt). The pizza is the issue. I ordered a margarita pizza with expectations of a better showing. It tasted like the pizza was made well in advance and reheated when it was ordered. It was pretty much a plain cheese pizza with 'meh' quality sauce and mozzarella, and a few leaves of basil torn over the top. My dining companion had a much better looking go with the burrata and salumi, but it was hardly worth the $80 price tag.
Restaurant was wonderful as always, but OpenTable let us make a 10 am brunch reservation when Stella Barra doesn't in face open until 11. We had to cancel our movie reservation and move our whole day around by an hour and a half. The restaurant was very accommodating, but this should not be possible. OpenTable and Stella Barra need to connect on this issue and get it resolved so it doesn't affect anybody else with less flexible plans.
Busy night but they accommodated us and made us feel welcome. Great pizza, appetizer and huge cookies for dessert.
The ambiance and food were great! But the service was both hot and cold and not timely when trying depart.
It was my first time here and I would definitely go back. A friend and I hit it up right before a theater show around the corner. I got the 405 cocktail without the mezcal and it was delicious. I don't usually like Brussels sprouts but theirs were tasty. We split a white sauce pie and the prosciutto and egg was delicious. Our server was Alex and he was awesome; really on top of things but also came across like a very genuine and kind person. March Madness game was on, so it was a buzzing scene. It was equally a good place to watch a game on TV or catch up with a friend.
I've been here a few times, and suggested to my friends that we meet here for dinner. Everyone loved all the food and ambiance. I received text messages the next day from everyone telling me they wished they'd gotten more desserts to go. We'll all be going back.
The food was great and our waiter was wonderful but it would have been nice if we didn't have to tell them multiple times about the birthday we were celebrating. Also, protip - they offer discounts to guests who come from Pantages theater.
Matt our Waiter was wonderful. knew the menu very well
Reserved a table at 8pm but got out of movie earlier then expected. Host was extremely nice and arranged a table early for us. Server was friendly and the pizzas were excellent as usual. Love the crust and everything on top tasted super fresh and delicious.
Grabbed a chocolate chip cookie on the way out. The brownie was really tempting. Has my vote for one if the best pizzas in Los Angeles.
This is the place to come before films at the Arclight. Particularly love the meatballs and the pizza with whipped burrata.
In town for work. Was close to our hotel. Loved it. Great service. Food was really good. Excellent pizza!!
I always love visiting Stella Barra. This occasion was to meet up with a dear friend of mine who I haven’t seen in years. Service provided was impeccable.
We often go here before a show at the Arclight. the pizza is good and the salads are good. The wine list is very limited. They just changed the cabernet to something called Horseshoes and Hand grenades which was awful. We asked the waiter to split a Salad and we ordered a pizza. The salad and pizza came at the same time. Service is rarely something to brag about, but the food is good and very close to the Arclight. Make a reservation for weekends.
The salads and pizzas were excellent. The drinks were just OK and overpriced. If you are charging $12 for a cocktail, you should not be using well liquor. Stick with beer.
We had a great experience and meal here tonight. We arrived before our reservation and they were able to seat us. We had one guest in our party with a gluten allergy and they had many options available, and everything she ate, she was very pleased with. There is a full bar and a fun modern atmosphere with great music. We were also celebrating a birthday and our waiter was great to accommodate our dessert and candle request!
Pizza was mediocre and that is being kind, the melted mozzarella and tomato sauce was very respectable. However it's a pizza place and the sauce and the pizza just was plain bad. It also came out cold after waiting for quite some time.
Great food and great service. The cookies for dessert topped it all off!
A very pleasant meal with dear friends
Nice salad, delicious thin pizza and the great chocolate chip cookie with salt made for an excellent lunch
A bit pricey but delicious food and attentive staff!
I think it’s time for Stella to change the Menu , other then that pretty good ☀️
As usual, Stella Barra's food does not disappoint! There pizzas and cocktails are delicious. They are an energetic, busy place, but generally great to grab a bite to eat before a movie at the ArcLight theater next door. The only issue I have and have had in the past is with the attentiveness of the staff. They are friendly and helpful, but aren't always available when you want them. I still give it 4 stars because the food is REALLY good.
We had the Brussels sprouts and a cheese pizza. Liked the place but the heavyset male waiter we had looked like he just rolled out of bed and put on a dirty shirt and shorts to come to work. What up with that? We don't mind causal dress but that guy looked like a slob. Just saying.
If you like pizza this is a special place, I will say possibly the best pizza place in Hollywood. I specially recommend the prosciutto pizza with garlic.
First time there and the food was good. The house made cops and their dipping sauce were outstanding. We got the thin cheese pizza too. Excellent.
Good pizza and I enjoyed the avocado and arugula pizza. Changed the sauce from cream to tomato. Yummy! Good place to grab a bite before the movies.
Everything was great but one of our five pizzas was forgotten, and when we brought this up to the server she said it would be coming in seven minutes. We waited another 15-20 minutes (there was one additional check in from our server in meantime) for it to arrive. Spirits remained high, we are frequent guests of SB and will definitely come back - it was just so out of ordinary and wanted to mention.
Good food and service.
Pizza was really good...actually everything was really good.
I love eating here before or after a movie. The food is fantastic, especially the brussels sprouts. Our server, Michael was superb! We will definitely be back.
Started with the roasted Brussel sprouts and ordered the fennel sausage pizza as the main course. Both were amazing.
Great place for pizza after a movie. Good selection to choose from.
Great ambiance! Try the goat cheese!
I met a colleague for dinner prior to a movie screening next store at the Arclight Cinema. The pizza was spectacular. Service and appetizer was solid. I would definitely recommend going back.
Good pizza, full bar, lively restaurant. The waiter was this large guy wearing shorts. Very disturbing and inappropriate shorts. What kind of restaurant let’s the waiters wear shorts? Also they serve warm water. What? So I had to knock the review down one star because of those two things.
GREAT Food, delicious bread and very original pizzas! The music was a little bit loud but overall good experience. Should try
Food was okay and good priced but it was too loud with music and people talking
Really enjoyed our delicious pizza lunch before a matinee at Arclight. Highly recommended!
