Went to celebrate our son's 18th. Our server James was great and made it special without being over the top. Nice meal overall.

Our 10 years anniversary

The main problem with our visit wasn't the staff or atmosphere (which was great) but the food really wasn't that inspired considering the premium price. I'm sure a sunset would have helped but this may be more of a HH place for us than dinner.

My family and I went for my birthday. We enjoyed the sunset from the patio. We ordered the artichoke and calamari, Ahi tuna for appetisers. My husband and I shared the tomahawk medium rare with potato mash and creamed corn. Food was prepared to perfection and the sides were delicious. My daughter enjoyed a hamburger. We finished with the bread pudding for dessert. The atmosphere was great.

Amazing food and drinks .

We waited ten minutes to be seated despite our reservation. They told us to wait at the bar, which was packed despite a pandemic, waiting area also packed. The food was subpar for the price. The wine tasted like it came out of a box despite the price tag, I returned it. The best part of the evening was the Creme Brûlée. Overall, I was not impressed and will not be coming back.

The steak was not good. Ribeye was super fatty. Paid over $250 for dinner for 2. Could have had a better steak dinner at saltgrass for half the price. Will not return. No excuse for a bad steak in TEXAS! 👎🏻👎🏻

What a great place. All the dishes were delicious and restaurant experience quality - you may pay a little more but you get the gastronomic experience you hope to have when dining out. Steven our waiter was superb, very knowledgeable about the food, the wine, the bourbon and the restaurant itself. He judged our likely preferences in terms of menu choice and service experience expertly and we will be asking for him to serve us next time we visit, which will be soon I'm sure. This is my favourite restaurant now and the steak was up there with the best I've ever had. Even my fussy 13 year old son ate the lobster tail and a huge medium rare ribeye steak.... that has never happened before ;-)
When you get asked whether you want dessert, don't be hasty to say you are too full. We were offered the molten lava cake which would take 20 minutes to prepare and we thought we would give it a try. What a good choice it was and waiting 20 minutes was perfect to let the main meal settle. The cake is huge, enough for 2, 3, 4... six people and made from scratch in an iron skillet which Steven brought to the table before flipping it successfully onto a plate. It was delicious and I washed it down with a really nice Elijah Craig© bourbon whiskey which Steven recommended.

Terrible service, very overpriced food, food presentation looked as if the waitress Pom had used some of it to participate in a food fight. Bar tenders talking and BS Ing louder than the customers and constantly hugging all over each other. Totally disappointed. I expected way more. Too many other eating establishments to spend my money at.

Everything was phenomenal. Our server (I wish I could remember his name) was very kind and well versed with the menu. We had the Bobby’s special and the steak & cake. Both of which were out of this world good. We will definitely return on our next visit to Austin.

Amazing all around, quiet and beautiful sunset at 545. After 645-700, it got louder as the tables filled up inside. The food is perfection and staff were wonderful.

Steiner Ranch is always special. They go above and beyond. It’s a drive from my home, but well worth it. Exceptional service and quality!
