   Steak way over cooked. Was told medium was red but no blood. Was also told they cook a little more on the rare side. We had 2 filets that were cooked to well done.

   Ate outside. Great service. Overall food was excellent. My husband was given the wrong food and the waitress was quick to correct the mistake. She gave us a free dessert. Unfortunately, the corrected steak was way overcooked.

   Everything was excellent and our server was outstanding. The view was perfect with the sun setting over the lake. I thought the menu & wine list were a bit pricey, but that seems to be the norm with restaurants these days; however, the quality of the food and service was worth it.

   The only reservation we could get was for 5:30 PM as the restaurant was "fully booked" for the rest of the evening. When my table of 3 people left at 7 PM the dining room was still almost entirely empty. Basically, we ate at 5:30 PM for no reason and the reservation system is very mismanaged.

   Excellent location for sunset, and hill country views. Food was absolutely delicious. It is a cowboy sort of atmosphere, you can wear your western digs here and feel right at home, Stetson and buckle included.

    Went on a Sunday early evening and the service was great, and crowd was very manageable. The food and specials were awesome. This was my first time there and will definitely be back. A little pricey but well worth it.

    The staff are busy on a Saturday evening. Even with cool weather clouds making the view less than usual, we did enjoy its hilltop location. We’ve been there several times and several seasons. The specialty cocktails are more reliable for craft and taste than something off the menu. They take real care to cook your meat exactly right. They take real care to overdo the bigger & better reputation of Texas in calories (butter, cream), portions snd alcohol content of specialty cocktails but we prepared for that. We suggest you share sides such as scalloped potatoes and Mac. Excellent fried green tomatoes w lump crab Louis and excellent not greasy calamari with a more Italian type sauce. Our service was to be as expected in a very nice but somewhat theme touristy restaurant on a busy weekend at 7 PM but our other visits have been earlier and later times with less hectic service. With drinks, appetizers, dinner, 20% tip, one should expect $100-$125 per adult head. We had leftovers for breakfast & spent ~$125 per diner. They have some less expensive options but requirements on minimum spending amounts if you desire to sit in some dining areas with views. Bar seating. True ‘High dollar’ Texas ambience & I should know. This Texan was at the ranch when it was still a ranch. We think it’s worth taking visitors out. The quality of the meat and its preparation are worth it. Shrimp was a bit over cooked okey but hey, it’s a steak house.

    By far the best steak I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection, flavor galore, and melted with every chew. Our server Palm was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and provided the perfect experience for my wife and I’s anniversary.

    The night went well & our server did an amazing job with the menu & service. The food was delicious and top quality. The pianist in the dining area did a good job as well. Unfortunately the patio was closed which we never understood why since the weather was chilly but not unbearable. We were still granted access for photos which was fantastic. We always make sure to stop at Steiner’s when we’re in town, it’s always a quality time.

    Always good service and the best steaks. The upstairs is noisy next to the bar, so, I’d avoid if possible. It would be nice to have other less expensive entree items. Until then, it’s a $200 meal for two.

    We attended Steiner Ranch to celebrate my husband's birthday. We share a 10oz filet minor accompanied by 2 African lobster tails, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables. It was all delicious. William was our waiter and he was attentive. Because we were celebrating a birthday, we got a complimentary dessert. Thank you for a delightful meal.

    Food was amazing the service was also incredible or server got us everything we needed gave us a great recommendation for 40-oz steak that was out of this world we enjoyed everything we did we had a dessert we had wine just a whole overall experience was great it's a little bit more than what I what I what I thought but for what we receive we just had a wonderful time great experience definitely recommend it probably will come back and bring some other family members as well thanks for everything!

    Steiner Ranch exceeded our expectations in all ways. The food was phenomenal - we got the stuffed avocado, the chips/queso, the medallion trio, and the 10oz filet and they were all cooked to perfection. The drinks were strong, the ambiance perfection. William was our server and he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and give us impeccable service.

    The Chicken Fried Meatloaf!!!! Definitely my favorite savory dish. The pancakes were quite tasty with that whipped butter and my own mixture of the syrups. Servers were great, very attentive!! I don't care for olives in my salad, but overall the options for Sunday brunch were fantastic!!! I will be returning!!

    Brunch is lovely. Definitely make a reservation. Service is great. Wonderful variety of both breakfast and lunch items to choose from. The food was delicious! The only thing that was disappointing this time was the stuffed French toast, which is usually a favorite...there was very little stuffing and toast was tough and hard. Everything else was delicious!

    We love the patio at Steiner Ranch. Live music, great food, excellent wait staff. We celebrated our son’s 21st birthday and all had a wonderful time. Even those under age.

    Steiner is hit or miss for me. I love the outdoors or the glass room. The other rooms are too old fashioned for me. You can request patio in the reservation but it doesn’t guarantee you a spot. We ended up on the corner of the old room by the fireplace (it was 70 degrees -confused by fireplace). Steak was over cooked and they didn’t even notice I didn’t eat it. The worst part was they added 20% tip to our bill and didn’t disclose it. Luckily I noticed or I would have given her another 20% tip! I have had great experiences there too! The old area vs. patio and glass room are almost like two different restaurants. Unfortunately you can’t pick which experience you want.

    This restaurant has become a 'feeding station' rather than a fine dining location. Our table was located off the bar rather than in the dining room as booked. My wife's entree had to be sent back; the tenderloin added to the salad was stone cold and way over-cooked. My filet was cooked fairly well but was overpriced at $51 for 7oz. Other items are over-priced, e.g., small Topo Chico at $5 each, 8oz glass of Daou Pessimist for $23. All in all, a less than stellar experience.

Danie, Michael, and John mmcreated a wonderful atmosphere for us to enjoy and our dinner was phenomenal. A recommendation from Daniel. Overall 5 out 5 experience, the Texas way!

    It was our anniversary dinner and right away we got complimentary rolls. The service was outstanding . My trout was wonderful, perfectly cooked with great sides, but my husbands fried elk was tough. We received a complimentary bread pudding that was outstanding. Loved the indoor space. it's quieter, more intimate than the patio.

    The 22 oz Cowboy ribeye was cooked to perfection. The shrimp cocktail featured 5 extra-large shrimp that tasted a cut above other shrimp cocktails I have had. My wife's mixed grill plate was easily 2 meals worth of food and very tasty. Overall, it was a pleasant evening.
