We were so disappointed in everything about this restaurant. Our food was served barely warm after having waited over a half hour to get it. Steaks were under done had to be sent back. There were hardly any people in the place so being busy wasn’t the reason. Will not return.

Steinbeck’s was closed for renovations. They tried to offer a different restaurant upon arriving. Very disappointing being that it is one of our favorite restaurants in the area.

We had a fantastic dinner. Excellent food. I had beef fillet done to perfection “medium rare”. The red snapper was also done very nice. Topped off with a Malbec. Service was great too. For a higher end restaurant and nice evening I would recommend this restaurant. Reasonably priced as well.

The Tasting Menu paired with the wines (mostly Mexican) was excellent. We chose the 5 courses and it was way too much food but also was absolutely scrumptious! Our waiter explained each wine pairing beautifully (in English) so we were able to understand and enjoy each course more fully. The mashed potatoes, catch of the day, and the flan were amazing! It's worth the price to try all of these dishes but come hungry.

The ambiance and service was good. We both got steaks and the quality of the cuts was poor for the price. Very disappointing and it was a special birthday occasion.

We Reserved the dinner for Christmas night when it’s hard to find a decent spot for dinner in town. We drove to the resort from town at the right time and then the restaurant was simply closed. They spoiled our festivity. Do not trust them. Do not reserve on open table with this restaurant. They are completely unreliable and even if the reservation is confirmed the restaurant may be closed.
