Caprino�s Italian located in Windermere, Florida is perfect when looking for an eatery near Disney World. Lunch and dinner are available, as well as catering services for those special occasions. The menu is extensive with appetizers, salads, hoagies, entr�es, pastas, burgers, pizza and more. A specialty at Caprino�s Italian is the Pittsburgh fries, which are smothered with cheddar, ranch and bacon.
A few notable items on the menu are a fried provolone wheel as an appetizer, caprese salad with prosciutto, prosciutto pancetta, beef ravioli (or the ravioli of the day) and Caprino�s Italian specialty burger which includes goat cheese, caramelized onion, roasted red peppers and a fried egg.
Though the food was good, it was a very disappointing experience. We had made reservations at Stefano's Grill and no one bothered to call and let us know that the restaurant closed and we should have gone to their sister restaurant. We all drove to Stefanos and then had to drive 20 minutes away which was fine. What left a bad taste with me is that the owners blamed OpenTable and then did not even offer to pick up even a glass of wine for the inconvenience. Not sure I would go back which is very disappointing since I loved Stefanos.
We booked a birthday dinner at Stefano's because of all of the great reviews we read online. When booking online, the website never said that the location on Dr. Phillip's was closed. For a $-$$ restaurant they could at least mention the closure on the website. We drove about 20 minutes to find the sister location which had a different menu than what we saw on Stefano's website. The party at the table next to kept complaining about many things (questioning why their waiter said the pasta was homemade even though another waiter told them conflicting info that the pasta was made offsite, why the pasta sauce didn't taste the same as other location and if they could contact the chef for his recipe, etc.). My party felt like they monopolized the attention of the wait staff. (At one point they had 3 servers at their table and we were ignored.) Our waiter never came back to check on us to see if we needed drink refills after the meal or if we wanted dessert. My husband had to flag down one of the management who verbally told us what was on the dessert menu. I am not sure if this restaurant normally does anything for birthday guests, but the 2 birthday ladies in our party (both born on same day) were never acknowledged. We did mention a double birthday to the lead waiter when we arrived and he had said they would do something special (never happened). For spending well over $100.00 for entrees we were not impressed with the level of service.
We had a reservation at 9:30pm. We arrived there at 9:25pm to find out that the restaurant was closed !!!
Unbelievable. We were tourists visiting Orlando and we were looking for a place to have a nice dinner. Nobody contacted us to let us know. This is unacceptable. I don't know if its the restaurant's or opentable's fault. I'll never trust opentable again.
Well first off the restaurant is no longer at this location but it never stated that. I called and they said it was at a different location but they didn't inform me that they had merged with another restaurant and it had a different name. When we walked in the music was so loud you couldn't hear the person next to you, you literally had to yell for them to hear. The restaurant is completely different from what it was before, it was a nice quiet intimate place to eat before. I will not be returning here.
Simply the best steak in Orlando - you can't go wrong!
The food was really fabulous! Every item was better than the next. Our only disappointment was that we were too full to eat more! Highly recommended for sure!
a little bit pricy, too many irks such as espresso machine broken, many of the wines on the short list not available.
Comments by waiter such as: espresso foamer has been broken for so long and Granita machine has been broken for a while.

We love the service and the food is amazing! Can't wait to try the tomahawk steak!!! This was my second time going & hopefully the steak will be there on the 3rd time! 🍣❤️

We first came to Stefano's during Magical Dining month and were impressed, this visit not so much.
Friday night and there were only about 10 people dining, there was more staff than customers. The servers were average at best and the Chicken & Veal Marsala were tasty.
The problem is the crazy prices for what you get. I was served a flattened single breast and sauce, that was it, no bed of pasta for almost $30. There was a small roll placed on a plate. They charged $5 for a small bowl of lettuce. We were not offered any dessert.
$88 for two dinners with no cocktails, wine or appetizers or dessert is crazy.
It's obvious now why the place was so empty. I can't imagine how they can stay in business and we certainly won't be back.
I went with my three daughters for a 8:30 dinner and the place was empty. The hostess was very nice but the waiter was just getting through the night until he could go home, we heard him complaining from the kitchen he didn't want to be there. There was no pricing on the menu for the steak items, when my daughter ordered nothing was mentioned that the fillet was $55.00. Don't get me wrong the meat was very good but they should have at least mentioned it. Overall the food was good but there was no atmosphere , we had to ask from bread and butter and sides to go with the meals. Chalk it up to a bad night for the waiter and a disappointing visit for us.
This restaurant was very overpriced. The food was ok just not worth the price. Best part of the experience was the service.
We went to Stefano's Grill for a second time. I wanted to check it out from our last visit to see if anything changed and to my surprise it was better! Our server, George, made my husband's birthday special. The entire staff was like family and Stefano even came over and greeted us and spoke to us for a few minutes. We really felt like we were at home, dining with our family! The Delmonico was amazing and it's the only steak I have ever eaten without A-1 Steaksauce (I just love the flavor of A-1)! They fresh make EVERYTHING! The pasta is so fresh and could not be more PERFECT! The Tiramisu is the freshest I have had in a long while! I can NOT rave enough about Stefano's Grill! It truly is underrated - it's an intimidate restaurant with extraordinary food! You will not be disappointed! We highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

The table side salad was fun & interactive. The Brussels Sprouts were terrible. Usually amazing. NOT tonight.

Second visit to Stefanos and returned this time to share our crab cake experience with friends! The crab cakes are true no filler Maryland style crab cakes and as native Marylanders, we know a good crab cake. The service is great, with knowledgeable wait staff that is friendly and efficient and do not return to the table too often, allowing good uninterrupted conversation with friends. Another great experience, guaranteeing return customers.

Ate here with a group of 5 and were extremely disappointed by the food overall, the service, and the high prices.
Warning -- they charge for everything separately -- including your sauce -- and there are no vegetarian items on the menu.
One of my friends ordered the halibut special and thought it was excellent, but was completely shocked to be charged $50 for the dish. They charged separately for the fish, the risotta, and the sauce! Very odd, especially since she ordered the special as described and the waitress never gave an option for the sauce.
The rest of our group found the pasta dishes average, and I found my pasta primavera dish almost inedible. Since there are no vegetarian pasta dishes on the menu, you are forced to either request one of three dishes without meat or order off menu, which is encouraged. The waitress suggested a pasta primavera, and I ordered with a puttanesca sauce. Mushy vegetables and absolutely tasteless except for the too-much-heat kick . But the worst part was they charged $16 for "custom pasta" and another $10 for the vegetables and sauce!
#1, who orders pasta without sauce?
#2, how is the pasta custom if not for the sauce? (I ordered rigatoni as the pasta, which is on the menu.)
One of my other friends also ordered an off-menu pasta and was charged $16 + $12 for the sauce (peas, bacon, pruiscutto).
Of course, no price adjustment for another order of an on-menu pasta dish without the meat. Guess we were lucky not to be charged extra for the removal of an ingredient.
So very average quality pasta with above average prices and one special that was excellent with ridiculous pricing. We will definitely not be back and would not recommend this restaurant.
A decent menu with a nice cross section of food from all groups. Pasta, chicken, veal, lamb and beef. Prices moderate to high.
I booked this restaurant after looking at the 10 best restaurants in Orlando. It had a nice diversified menu for a business dinner. It was wonderful from when we walked in to when we left! Everyone was pleased with their meals. Kudos to the Chef!
I was reccomended here by a friend who lives in the area. I had told him that I am a big fan of the very close by restaurant christinis. I went approx 9:30 on a sat night and the restaurant was practically empty. The restaurant was very small inside. The service was great, both the host and server were very informative and attentive. I just found that the food was mediocre and overpriced. All the items were a bit bland from the two appetizers we ordered to the entrees. The tiramisu was tasty, but not amazing, lots of cream. Also it was so empty in the restaurant and quiet that I could hear all the servers/bartenders loud personal conversations. The food was ok, but for my $150 check I would have rather spent it elsewhere. I really reccomend Christinis, it has food and atmosphere that can't be beat.
This was recommended by one of the staff at our hotel. I was informed the steaks are just phenomenal. Being from NYC, I have eaten at such notable steak house such as Sparks, The Strip House, and Del Frisco's so I know a good steak. My wife and I had shared a 22 oz. Delmonico steak which was THE BEST STEAK we have ever had. This steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect Stephano’s Grill to surpass a steak from a restaurant NYC!
Now I have eaten Italian food in Little Italy as well and I wanted to see how well this restaurant served its Bolognese Rigatoni, a favorite of mine. Well, it was simply unbelievable!
Our server, Tom, was just as fantastic as the meal. Pleasant, personable, and truly a professional!
I am back in NYC and now I have to find a restaurant that comes close to the meal I had at Stephano’s Grill. I can tell you this will be a hard task!
The food was great. Especially the broccoli. Never knew broccoli taste so good.
Apps and main course we're spot on! Veal was fantastic and the stuffed hot peppers left your mouth watering more. Nice wine selection too.

From the food to the service....this place is excellent. Friend booked reservations and we had no clue what we were about to enjoy. Liked it so much we came back two nights later.
The food and the service were outstanding! It was my wife's birthday and she was ecstatic with everything.
This restaurant should not be rated $. It's more like $$ or $$. For two people, we shared one appetizer, one salad, one dessert. No drinks. And we each had a steak. Before tip, bill was $168. I have been to good, local prime steakhouses all over the country and the bill has never been that high. $55 for a 10oz filet mignon. My coworker said his Delmonico steak, which just won an award for best steak in Orlando, tasted very salty and just ok. Food was delicious other than Delmonico steak, but I'm not sure if it's worth it for the price.
Started with the meat and cheese platter and it was an awesome well thought out value starter. Had the Chicken Parm. One of the best I ever ate. It came with fresh house made spaghetti. Again fresh ingredients and made on premise. Excellent service staff and attention to detail.
The service and food here are amazing! The smell of delicious food fills the entire room and you can smell it as soon as you walk in. It's by far the best Italian food in town, and they have delicious steaks as well.
Expensive yet ordinary food. I ordered a veal dish with pasta and told the waiter no cheese. The pasta was very cheesy and ruined the taste for me. When I told the waiter he apologized but offered no option to correct the problem.
My wife and I spent Valentine's Day at Stefano's Grill in Dr. Phillips. When we sat down at the table, the waitress Deana, told us about the the Delmonico steak which has won all kinds of awards; so I ordered my Delmonico steak medium rare and my wife ordered a special Snapper dish. We had salads and when we got our food my steak was cold and well done and my wife's fish was cold; my wife asked the waitress to microwave and heat up her Snapper and she did, it came back luke warm and I did not want my steak microwaved. We were very very disappointed. With drinks and wine and dessert the bill was $330 with tip; I did tell a manager that came around to the table that we were very disappointed not happy with our Valentine's dinner.
We went to Stefano's on Valentine's day and the experience was truly perfect. The place was packed but the service was impeccable and the food was A1! Chef Stefano came to our table personally to make sure everything was going great. We had the Tomahawk steak which was HUGE and out of this world. The lobster tail and penne pasta was cooked to perfection! this place has a very cozy feel to it which was really nice and personable. The pricing was good especially considering the portions. I would definitely recommend Stefano's for a fine dining experience.
Ate here during fine dining month and the experience was great. Probably bc we were with folks who knew the owners. It was waaaay more busy during that time than at 6 pm on Valentine's day, yet on Valentine's with a restaurant that was not at capcity, it took 10 mins for someone to greet us after we sat down. Ordered at 615, food didn't come untIL 7:35. I think they had to kill the cow, bring it back, skin it, then cook it! It was clear they knew there was a problem that evening and I would have preferred they acknowedge it, rather than avoiding eye contact as each 10 mins ticked by, or having the chef's wife offering people olives and the chef coming out to say hello and inquire about what folks ordered. Who cares... give me my food that cost $165 before tax at the end of the night. Live dropping that kind of money on food.. and the food was delic... but I expect everything else to be in order too! Will never go back again.
We went with another couple on Valentine's Day. Pulled up and it was an odd location in a strip mall next to a clothing store. The service was good but there wasn't much ambiance. The bar and dozen plus tables were all in one area with 3 TVs on so not much for the romance level. The $54 22oz Delmonico(ribeye) was ok but overcooked and was much smaller than our friends that also had the same steak. For the money I would go to Ruth Cris or Christners which are both close by with better ambiance
Delicious pasta dishes and generous wine pours. A family owned gem on Restaurant Row. Peek at your check carefully. We had to correct ours.
Small location for the price structure but great food
Food and service was excellent. On the pricier side, but my wife and I enjoyed our dinner.
