Steel Creek American Whiskey Co.
The food was really good had the Ribeye and the atmosphere was fun. Our waitress was either a little overwhelmed, inattentive or forgetful. We had to ask for things several times and I would have loved to see a whiskey/alcohol menu but never even got a chance to ask.
I went here for my Husband birthday. The food was good. Are sever was awesome. She was always around. Had a great time. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
This is hands down the most disappointing restaurant service I’ve ever experienced. To break it down, I made reservations at 7:30pm this last Saturday night for my husbands birthday, we got there 15 min before to be courteous. Didn’t get sat until 7:40 when in fact our table was ready the whole time we were there. Only knew this because it was the same table we had stared at, that had reserved signs on it since we got there. Our waiter JESSICA took way to long to take our order and kept forgetting about us and we pretty much had to wave her down just to get her attention. By the time we ordered food and got it back it was 8:55PM! She was incredibly disrespectful, kept rolling her eyes, with so much irritability towards us and we could truly tell she didn’t care to serve us or anyone for that matter. And the worst part was she comes out with our food boxed in paper bags because we mentioned we had a show to catch and she thought, with out asking, that this would be a good idea. Who does that? So we had to eat at the table quickly as we opened our “to go boxes”. At that point I was so embarrassed because I was the one to made the reservation and had friends at our table who were visiting out of town. And JESSICA mentioned that if we had a problem we could take it up with Jason the manager. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! So incredibly upset with the whole experience and I don’t wish this on anyone’s weekend.
Nice place. Got there about 30 minutes early for a dinner reservation and they were able to seat us. Lots of parties going on but the waitress was attentive. Place was quiet until 9pm and then it gets loud and energetic. Lots of people and lots of dancing and music.
We will definitely be back it was so much fun. The only down side was were often left with empty glasses. Other then that everything was amazing.
Great Burgers and service. Fun place to meet friends and Linedance. DJ SuperDave is AWESOME!!!!
Glass was warm and sticky which really made my beer gross to drink.
Good food - great people! Can't wait to go again - highly recommended.
Our server was very attentive to our table and needs for drinks and food. The bread on the pulled pork sandwich was dry and hard. Also, we had one of our party that is allergic to red pepper and cayenne pepper, when asking the server abut the seasonings on the shrimp and meat was advised that it did not contain those spices. Unfortunately the shrimp did contain those spices and part of our party had to leave to seek medical attention. It might be a good idea to add an asterisk and information to items that contain those items to avoid other such issues, similar to items that are spicey. We will be back to dance but not to eat.
Front desk staff needs training. They lost an opportunity to sell a drink at the bar while we waited for our table. Instead, they said our server wasn't there yet so we couldn't sit, that is not a customer's problem. That's a staffing problem.
Awful food, slow service, and we were served a beer in a dirty glass with food in it and the waitress didn't do anything about it when we told her.
We got there right when it opened at 5:00. Not many people there, but service was very slow. Food was very good and pricing reasonable.
Our group had a great time learning to line dance. The instructors were terrific. The service was good and the staff friendly. The food I tasted was okay. Others in our group really enjoyed their meal.
Quick service, sweet server, amazing food, and we loved the atmosphere.
Food was not good. Burger was so cooked it was dry. Waitress not very friendly.
We had steaks, the girls had soup. It was good. Unfortunately the service was slow. It didn't seem as though the waitress was enjoying her; she rarely checked on us and did not ask us if we wanted refills on our drinks or any dessert. We left before the "festivities" started, but it looks like it would be a really fun place for line dancing!
If you like throwbacks to 80's cowboy bars (a la Urban Cowboy), this is the place for you. If you're into bourbon, this is also a good place. But don't go for the food. Mediocre at best with an inflated price tag.
Nice dinner spot. We had great steaks and veggies. The staff was willing tobacco
Ofate our keto diet limitations
My mom and I ate here before seeing the Bob Seger concert they were a little understaffed but the hostess was quick to seat us get out orders and our server was very nice in getting us our check and anything else we needed
Slow service and food took 45 minutes to arrive
Waiter was poor at checking on us and our drinks
Prices are not too high
Serving sizes are perfect
Love the setting of the restaurant
Overall, would come again
We had a lot of fun celebrating a birthday!!
There was no one there as we went early evening on Wednesday. Great for us to try the food. Great specials, fantastic prices. We will be back for fun on the weekends
I booked a table a week in advance to specifically reserve high seated tables. When we arrived, they hadn’t even got a table set up for us and then said that the tables weren’t available. It was for a bidal shower party for 10 people. It just doesn’t make sense to have the option to reserve a particular table for a special occasion to then not have ANY table ready for when we arrived. The bride to be enjoyed her night still which is what matters but it was the principle of having a choice and choosing it well in advance. If we had booked the day before or same day I would understand.
Worst hamburger I have had.
Good atmosphere, fun place, but we had terrible service.
Richard our server was too busy for us, messed up every single item and drink, but the rest once it was taken care of was great. would go back with a different server.
Always makes me feel like I'm back in Texas, and makes my boyfriend feel like he's back in GA!
We picked the restaurant/pub because of the ratings. We had a great dinner. Would recommend!
Great food with great friends! Would definitely eat here again!
Great place. Wasnt what I expected since I had reservations for my anniversary but we will be back for sure
Early dinner before a show at the Rialto, family friendly during early evening, the kids had special requests for their burgers, done perfectly. Whiskey chicken and rib eye were also great.
Went here for the Mother’s Day brunch. When we were sat the table wasn’t ready and we had to stand next to the booth and wait for someone to clean it off. Next, the waiter said he would be back with waters- and then vanished for half the meal. When we went up to the buffet they had run out of half the food, there was no silverware left and everything was a bit of a mess- especially the biscuits and gravy. Our server was absent until we were already eating our “dessert” which is when we finally got something to drink. It was clearly a busy day but the disorganization made things a little disappointing, especially since we were there for Mother’s Day. And the food was extremely overpriced for what was provided. Would, sadly, not recommend.
Service was poor food was decent. I will not be going back for mother’s day brunch.
The atmosphere and service were wonderful. Being there on Mothers day brunch I felt the food selection could have been better for the price. I know several other area venues were offering there mimosa type drink for no charge - would have been a nice touch. Disappointed in the food.
We went there for a mothers day brunch. I had never been there before. My mom loved it. The food was great and abundant.
We like Steel Creek for the music and ambience and it's a great way to start Mothers Day with the brunch. Great food and very friendly staff!
We arrived exactly on time for our reservation. We were quickly seated but told, it was busy because of the live music this evening. We were just here for food and didn't know anything about performances. We were seated by the front staff. We didn't see a single wait staff person for 20 minutes. We did then get a server say, sorry, I'll go get some water and come back and take your order. We never saw her again. 10 minutes later - 30 minutes total, a different server said she was taking over the section and took our drink and food order. The drink order took almost another 10 minutes to arrive. Our food was quick and arrived shortly after. We did have to ask the person delivering the food for utensils and napkins - he delivered 1 - we had to then ask for 2 more for the table. All 3 of our dishes were cold. We ate paid and got out. The menu looked good, the restaurant looked good, but we had to have hit them on an off night. While they said it was busy, seemed as though 1/3 of the tables were empty. Understaffed and the management didn't seem to be anywhere in sight ensuring the customers were served. So odd to sit to for so long without anyone acknowledging our existence.
This is a great find. Not only is the food great but it also has a dance floor with live music in the evenings. The husband and I spent time in Texas and enjoy a two-step. Get a reservation for a good table for dancing by the floor
The artichoke dip and steak quesadillas were good. The dinner was not good. The hamburger had an awful texture and flavor. My husband's steak was ok. Even the server had a hard time with recommendations. However, at 9pm, the dancing was fun!
Awesome staff. Great price! Very enjoyable experience!
