Steamworks Gastown
Steamworks gets its name from the famous Gastown steam line that runs through our premises. Our onsite brewery uses steam to fire its kettles. The instant heat of steam allows for greater brewing finesse, and most importantly great tasting beer. Whether you're in the mood for a thirst quenching Lions Gate® lager, or a full bodied HeriocaTM Oatmeal Stout, we've got a beer to please your palate.

We went to Steamworks for Brunch on a rainy Saturday. The food and the service were excellent! With all the COVID restrictions, the restaurant was very quiet so I encourage people to get out and enjoy an enjoyable (covid friendly) experience at Steamworks in Gastown.
The service was amazing, the food was okay the $$ was good but the quality was not great. I did. Or care for the peppercorn steak. I asked for it medium rare I got rare. I did not complain because it was NYE but I think they fail on the quality and proper cooking.

Covid friendly. Server was friendly & attentive. We went at 5:00pm so it wasn’t busy or loud. Nicely located near Canada Place. We’ll definitely return.

I like the Tuna Poke Bowl a lot. Moderate cocktails selections. Good place to dine in and hangout with friends.
The Dine Outside Vancouver menu was a great value and the food was excellent. The service was outstanding, very helpful and pleasant staff from start to finish. I would highly recommend.

Did the Dine Outside menu. The meal was great: big portions and great taste! Included a Beer Flight, which was an added bonus (4 good sized glasses).

Great food, really good beer, and a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff that served us drinks and food quickly. Really attentive. A great place to watch the hockey game too. Nice patio when the sun is out.

We drive over an hour from Chilliwack to dine here. Love the ambiance and quality beer/drinks. It’s my choice every time we head into Vancouver!
Service is always great! It was even better than normal this last time. We went for my Birthday and we were pleasantly surprised with how the server made our evening feel special.

Nice quick dinner. Just ordered apetizers wings, ceaser salad and calamari. Order came quickly. Enjoyed the beer on tap. Restaurant not too busy and they were following all covid protocols.

Wonderful service with full Covid protocols integrated (not awkward or obtrusive). I had the steak + Gorgonzola salad which was delicious.
Great service - food was lovely
My friend and I enjoyed a pleasant time together having a soft taco. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The location of the restaurant is very good, on the edge of Gastown overlooking the north shore.
The only thing was that we were close to a heater in the patio and was really hot, we asked a couple of times to turn in off, or lower it, but never happened.
We had a great server super friendly, making sure everything was okay for us. Because of COVID-19, tables were set up with appropriate distance as well as the menu was online through a QR scan. The bathroom was also set up to keep distance of each other.
Food was good, we ordered the Classic Pizza and Pepperoni Yellow Pepper Pizza. As well as beer and cider.
Variety of choices on the menu. Both health conscious and regular options.
I love the beer soup! Hearty and very tasty. I also had the Ahi Tuna salad and it was very good.

Wir waren mit Bier-interessieren Freunden in Vancouver. Da hat sich das Restaurant angeboten. Das Essen ist auch lecker, passt also gut zusammen.
We had the best service experienced anywhere and nothing was overlooked - great food, good wine and beer and suited the situation perfectly.
Always know what to expect! It was really loud in there tho, I don’t remember not being able to hear the person sitting across from me. That’s my only complaint :)
For 6 guests, we were seated at quite a small table. The restaurant wasn’t very busy and there were many other tables available. The server could have been more attentive. There were multiple times we had to request water. When we needed service, it look a while for the server to become visible.
Love the building! Food was fresh and not to long of a wait. Our waitress had better days. She was not most helpful with food recommendations or to personable. But none the less good experience and would come back!
Good food and service; really appreciated the gluten-free and vegan options on the menu. Accommodated all eaters in our group easily.
Always a favourite spot in Vancouver and a great place to meet friends or date night. Never disappointed with the service, great tasting food and selection of beers and wines. The view to the North if you’re lucky to score a seat at the back is amazing!

Never had an extremely cold/ hard solid pizza and over deep fried "dry ribs "

Seafood fettuccine was marginal. Sauce was like soup. My guest's chicken was was overcooked.
Very nicely done food - the pizza was especially good, oh and the Manhattans too!
Server was nice, always there when we needed her, but not a "sticky, smiley, at-your-service" type.
