Great location overlooking the Harbour The food was also very good. This restaurant would work well for couples or families. Would recommend it to both.

We were on a cruise that stopped in Victoria. A friend recommended this restaurant and I'm so glad we went. The Victoria Inner Harbour is one of the prettiest places on earth and this restaurant overlooks it all. The service, the ambiance and the food were all stellar. My only quibble is that the salmon was slightly overdone. The dessert doughnuts were fantastic!

When we arrived we aasked when the kitchen closes as it was late. We had a starter and the next time the server came around he informed us that the kitchen is already closed. Never had dinner.

Unfortunately too many menu and service mixups to be able to provide a positive review. Lovely setting however.

We enjoyed a delicious early dinner on Mother's Day. Sitting on the patio with the Victoria inner harbour in full sunshine was amazing. We had good service and the place was packed. Peel our own shrimp appy and fish tacos and poke bowl all were delicious and beautifully presented. Steamship Grill is a great place for causal dinner, a drink or two or a special occasion. Love it here!

We had a great experience 2 years ago for Mother’s Day brunch and made reservation again this year. Service, food and the seating was very poor. 2 years ago the cod fish and drinks were spectacular. Service was outstanding and personal. This year shrimp was not cooked well, food was cold, and drinks were mediocre and nothing special for the occasion

I was there for the Mother’s Day Sunday brunch, the food was good except that it took a long time for them to refill the trays. I stood in line for a long time and found most of the trays were empty. The layout was not great when lining up for food, the area was small and tight. Also, they should have done a better job with making sure the trays were being refilled. Service was average.

We attended for brunch on Mother's Day and were really disappointed by the food. It was nothing special to say the least. Frozen hash browns, basic scrambled eggs, soggy/cold bacon, etc. The pastry station was unimpressive and we noticed someone restocking it with a box of muffins that was clearly from a commercial bakery (i.e. not baked on site). It was very disappointing and we won't be going here again.

highly recommend for food and atmosphere. Parking is a nearby walk but being right on the waterfront is worth it!

We enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner! We were super impressed with the service and the food was absolutely delicious. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed looking out into the harbour while we ate. We will definitely be coming back soon.

We ate here twice. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was perfectly prepared and plated. Sitting by the waterfront was delightful. We watched the water taxis, ferries, and sea planes come and go.

Good food and service. Sat on patio and found it to be dirty and it felt like it was under construction with plastic enclosure, heavy drapes inside, floors that looked unfinished. A shame because the location on the harbour side was fantastic.

We chose the 3 course special. The salad was crisp and lovely. The fish with risotto was perfect. The dessert offering was creme brulee or donuts. We had one of each. The creme brulee was good, BUT the donuts were fabulous!!!. I never eat donuts, but I gotta tell ya, these are to die for. They are tender inside, crisp on the outside, and covered in a delectable sugary coating. Get up and go right now, get these donuts. GO!

This restaurant is on the repeat list. The food was fresh and there was lots of great selection. The location is amazing and we could walk there from our hotel. The staff were super friendly and we never had to wait for great service.

Met friends from Vanc and we talked and talked and talked and they let us alone. Didn't rush us or make us feel we needed to leave. We were there for over 4 hours!!!! Food was tasty, service very good. Overall, for what we wanted it totally fit the bill. Not too noisy either. Have eaten on the deck before and it was lovely.

Gabby our Server, and Phil, whom we assumed was the Manager, were both terrific. Attentive without being overbearing. Other members of the staff were equally welcoming. Have purchased several Gift Cards for family and friends at Christmas time and we're just now getting out to use them. We really enjoy the $1.50 per shucked oysters between 2:00 and 5:00 on the patio.
Love the patio!
Thanks

It would have been better if we weren’t staring at the messy area where the chefs and servers were eating. The waitress ignored us for about 10 minutes and then couldn’t get us out fast enough. The food was good but the drinks were not.

Food was excellent. It was a pleasant surprise considering the Romer’s restaurants I have visited in Vancouver. This restaurant is nothing like them. The seating area was cramped while a section on the other side of the room was almost empty. The server was excellent.

We found the service was slow and took quite awhile for our meal to arrive at our table considering it wasn't very busy.
The setting is lovely and, although we didn't sit outside, I know the patio is lovely with a great view of the inner harbour.

Very pleasant, attentive young waiter. Food was really good. We are a bit older, and the music was a bit loud for me, when I was talking to my friend. Not really bad, but a little distracting. I have been to this restaurant for dinner before - in the evening, and we sat outside. It. was wonderful, and that's what made me try it again, for lunch this time.
I was very comfortable, because I am fairly tall. My friend is quite short, and she found it difficult to be comfortable, and reach the table. The seats are quite far from the table, which makes it difficult for small people. It was my friend's birthday, and I indicated that at the time I made the reservation. I thought it might be recognized, but it wasn't. Overall, it was a lovely lunch. I'm only giving you my opinion because you asked for it. I had no complaints really, and I will be back. Thank you. I was in town for work, I went in on a Sunday night, and it was quiet so I cannot talk about the atmosphere but would imagine it's a nice place to meet with friends. I came in, was promptly seated at a nice table by the window, the menu was interesting , the food was tasty and the server was efficient. So yes, I would come back, hopefully when it's more busy.
