The Steakhouse at Spa Resort Casino Ratings and Reviews
We love dining at the Spa Steakhouse. We started with martini's and a bottle of Conn Creek Cab. For our starters, we had the Manhatten Clam Chowder, Ahi Poke and Raddichio salad. All delicious! for our main courses, we had the Chilean Sea Bass, the Striped Sea Bass and the 10 oz. Filet. All prepared perfectly. Our dinner was casual and at our pace, there was absolutely no rush. Our waitress, I hope I am getting her name right, was Chelsea. She was excellent! And for dessert a gratis piece of chocolate cake! Happy Birthday!
wow OUR NEW Thanksgiving tradition just started here! The service was outstanding and the food was, well some of the best I have had! being a New Orleans foodie I pride myself in knowing high end restaurants and their food- well you will not be disappointed here! Will be back before the next holiday
Our reservation did not show on their computer and they had a very rude attitude about it. We showed them our confirmation mail, after that it took a lot of talking between the two of them and at the end we had a very nice table, but they did not bother to apologize for the weird attitude nor for letting us wait.
Nice atmosphere. Best steak I have had in a very long time. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. A bit on the expensive side, but very reasonable for the quality and type of food along with attentive, but non obtrusive service. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a high quality steak dinner.
Everything was excellent. We had Steakhouse salad; tenderloin skewers; filet mignon; brussel sprouts; augratin potatoes ; berries & cream & of course cocktails made to perfection. Our only complaint was table seating. It was a booth that backs up to the bar & faces the dining room.
Ambiance is my taste, service was excellent. Expensive menu that is not justified. Food can be found at Outback to be a much better value and taste. We like our filet mignon to be cooked medium well to well done. However it should be cooked jn a manner that allows the steak to be juicy. Also note to restaurants: BUY GRASS FED BEEF- IT IS HEALTHIER FOR PEOPLE, NOT CORN FED GARBAGE. Our steaks were cooked well done but they were not juicy. Sauces and mashed potatoes were good. Looks like we are still in the search for our go to restaurant in the Palm Springs area. (2) people with steak dinners, sides, and salads = $200+/ tip included.
Nothing special about the food, everything was bland, except for the truffle Mac and cheese which had way too much truffle oil. Service was good, attentive but again nothing notable or special especially when you factor in the prices.
Overpriced and noisy. Our waiter, Don, was great but couldn't make up for the noise level in the restaurant. To be fair, there were some very noisy diners but the restaurant design appeared to augment the noise rather than absorb it. Food was ok but very expensive. There are nicer options elsewhere in the city at a much better value
This place was AMAZING!!! I enjoyed the cocktails and the Filet Mignon!!! My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. Don was our waiter and was absolutely wonderful! He is the epitome of what great service is! His energy was upbeat and welcoming. I felt as if I were dining at his home. He knew the menu and selections and provided great service!!!! The food was great! I can't wait to visit again!♥
My dry age steak was not cooked rare and not medium as ordered,it was harder to cut than a choice steak from a subpar grocery store. I also finished off my girl friends steak and smelled a hint of fish from one of the items on her plate, we hate the smell and taste of fish. I spent $120, I would like the waitress to keep her tip but a refund is in order. A yelp and google will follow if my demands are not met. If you want to know what a proper steak house tastes like, I would suggest sending your chef to the steak house at The agua casino in rancho mirage.
Delicious meal. My husband and I took my eighty eighty year old dad out for dinner. We all had the early bird special. For $32.00 we each had Caesar salad, 5 oz. filet mignon (cooked to perfection), mashed potatoes and vegies. Just the right amount of food. We splurged and had the apple pie for dessert. Great deal.
We dined at The Steakhouse off of a friend's referral. I was a little nervous that it was in a casino for whatever reason but in the end I took a chance. I was immediately pleased with the atmosphere, our server Ken stopped by rapidly and his service was spot on through the entire meal. The starters, steaks as well as the cocktails and desert were all amazing. We left very satisfied and pleased with our decision. The clientele is casino clientele if that matters (some were loud others a little overly casual) but it still was a hit and I would go back again and would recommend it as well.
Arrived early but was seated right away. Lighting is very dim so was regretting forgetting to bring my glasses for reading the menu, but voila ... lighted menus. A brilliant surprise. My husband and I were craving a good prime rib, the main reason we booked this restaurant, so we ordered salads and the queen cut smaller portion of prime rib, medium rare. It arrived looking a bit more 'rare' than 'medium rare' but appetizing. My first cut was like cutting butter however my husband could not get his to cut at all, no matter how much pressure on the knife. We called our waiter back and explained the issue. He promptly took the plate back and in a very short time a new portion was delivered, this one much more tender than the previous. The rarest center part of my prime rib was a bit tough and chewy so I left it but since the portion was generous I was full anyway. To my surprise Whalen the bill arrived, it showed that we were being charged for the King cut larger portion rather than the queen cut. Since we had already eaten it I felt there was no use to point this out to the waiter. In the future I will make sure to confirm the order with the waiter/waitress. I will also change my order to medium as their cooking scale seems to skew a bit more rare than normal.
Was down in Palm Springs on vacation and decided to try the steakhouse at the casino. I was very pleasantly surprised about the entire experience. The food and service were both great. What was also cool is when you get the menu it has a backlight so you can see the menu and do not have to pull out your cell phone to use the flashlight.
