Food was incredible, our server very professional, but not a great Cabernet wine selection and really pricey. Busboys need to learn not to remove dinner plates until all parties are finished eating.
Great as usual. Steaks were great. Service very nice as usual.
Was down in Palm Springs on vacation and decided to try the steakhouse at the casino. I was very pleasantly surprised about the entire experience. The food and service were both great. What was also cool is when you get the menu it has a backlight so you can see the menu and do not have to pull out your cell phone to use the flashlight.
The food was first rate, ambience is great and most of all the service was prompt and professional we were made to feel at home and all our needs were pre-handled. I would recommend the Steakhouse to anyone who wants a fantastic meal and high quality service
Go here a couple times a year and the service and food are consistently wonderful. Have gone with the family and for a date night and it suits the occasion.
Quiet; good for late night dining. Fabulous French fries. Expensive like most traditional steak joints.
We've been here numerous times and have never been disappointed. The service is amazing and the food has always been great.
We enjoyed the delicious dinner. The service was fantastic. We also enjoyed happy hour at the bar prior to dinner
We chose this restaurant because we frequent The Steakhouse at Agua Caliente casino and the menu seemed to be very similar so we thought we would give it a try.....that was a mistake. Our server not only forgot our drinks but forgot one our dishes I cannot even tell you his name because he did not make an impression on us at all just left a bitter taste in our mouths. The food was mediocre at best, Agua does a way better job at service, presentation, and taste. Management is the complete opposite here, you NEVER see them whereas at the Rancho Mirage location they come up and check on your table nightly. It was just a bust and a shame. I will not be coming to this location again.
I have not been to the Steakhouse Palm Springs for a few years. We have been going to Rancho Mirage and the management, staff and even the guests were always fantastic. The only reason we went to PS was RM was fully committed for the evening.
Our experience was the worst for any restaurant. It started off good. The server was not properly trained, maybe it was his first night alone. We ordered a $100 bottle of wine and he really did not know how to present it nor pour it that should have been our first clue of how the evening was going to go. I ordered prime rib my date ordered the sea bass. The appetizers came out. I had the ahi which was warm and the wanton were burned. His lobster bisque was fantastic. Before we finished the entree came out. You can tell it was miss fired. Both meals came out cold. Not warm but cold. My date sent back the sea bass. The waiter rolled his eyes when he took it back. Within two minutes it came back. It was microwaved. Seriously a $45 entree was
Microwave. He asked for the manger who came over. He acted like he couldn't be bothered. 5 minutes later a new fish came out. No apology. No one ever came back to the table except for the waiter to pick up a wine glass. Never offered another glass. Then the ultimate. The check was dropped without asking if we wanted desert. I spend $350 for two. I would not recommend this restaurant and the only reason I haven't called is the manger could care less to start with. I will never be back and I can tell you everyone will hear about out experience. I have never written a review like this and by the way I am a black card holder and didn't even ask for a comp. we will not be back to the Spa.
We ordered from the early bird menu. Steak looked smaller than promised. Soup was very bland and barely warm. Mentioned it to 2 servers before they replaced it with salad. Booths a little small for 4 people.
Always an A+
Filet was spectacular
Service was equal
Ken, our server was outstanding, and the food was exceptional! We ordered an '05 Meritage, and it too was exceptional. Highly recommend!!!
It was perfect!!! This is the definition of fine dining!
Service was top notch! Waitress went out of her way to make sure we had an awesome dining experience. We had the duck, caesar salad and french onion soup. Everything was delicious. Would definitely return.
Our meal was delicious. The pork belly sliders were amazing! Sea Bass was tasty. Lobster Bisque was delicious and the steak perfectly cooked. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. I will eat here again.
The Steakhouse was an impressive location with exceptional service and food. My first time here and a very memorable one in the beautiful ambiance. I recommend the lobster mashed potatoes but the entire menu is impressive with a huge selection of steaks. I don't eat meat and enjoyed the salmon instead. Entrees are ala carte and the sides are large enough to split. This is a very special spot for a romantic date or celebrating a special occasion.
Good dining experience with business associates and with friends. Waiter was personable. Food was good if a bit on the pricey side.
We were referred to the Steakhouse by friends and had never been. We're locals for many years...this was such a great surprise. The ambience, decor, service...all top notch. And the food was really great. Nice menu selection to choose from. Easy to get a special request from the chef. We don't typically expect such a great meal at a casino restaurant, but this changed all that. Definitely will return.
This is the third year we've eaten at the Steakhouse for Christmas dinner. Each time before we had excellent service and the food was always prepared to order as requested. And in the past the service was attentive without being intrusive and always on par with what one would expect at this price point. That was before...this time was an exeception.
We were seated promptly and immediately given bread, waters and beverages .
Our server Ken was more of a social butterfly to other patrons who were obviously regulars than catering to us and our order, needs, wants and food. He took over 10 minutes to greet us . We also had a few waits of over 15 minutes where the status of our satisfaction was checked upon. My steak was cooked to dryness (not the medium rare requested) and tasted gamey and my wife's sides were small and lacking flavor. This to say, not once were we asked about the quality of preparation by Ken our server. When we left, we debated about a return on our next holiday in the desert...we decided to pass and look for alternatives. This isn't to say we've never had a great meal in the Palm Springs area; our experience at Mastro's in Palm Desert on Christmas Eve was stellar! And we will return there again. The Steakhouse at the Spa not so much - could be glorious but failed miserably. A solid grade of D-
Great Xmas dinner! Nester was awesome 👍professional level service!
my steak was 1/4'' thick mashed potatoes were good but very small amount as were the
veg. my wife's fish was so-so. way over priced. Was very good 3 yrs ago.
My friend and I always love this restaurant at Christmas time.
The decorations are always stunning and everything else is great, too!
This was our first time going there, it was my birthday weekend. The service and the food were wonderful! We would go back any time. The chautubrian was perfect!
Always have a great dinner here, the Chops are out of this world and Steaks are the best!
Filet Mignon was tough & so was the asparagus. Priced like a high end steak house, but no where near a high end steak house. Over priced marginal food. I have had better at chain steak houses for half the price. Staff nice & friendly. Service slow.
Great food. Great service.
Portions are very small for the price. Dessert selection was limited too. Staff was very polite and very attentive.
Always an excellent and satisfying dining experience.
Excellent Service and beautiful area for dining. The food was excellent and prepared wonderful.
Our first time there, celebrating our anniversary. Staff congratulated us. They were all very friendly and gifted us with a "Happy Anniversary" dessert! The food and ambiance was amazing!
Once again the food and service was awesome. Everything went well for the evening . I found one minor flaw, the soup on the menu shows a price of $10.00 but when you receive your bill, you are charged $11.00. I did point it out to the hostess on my way out. I wasn't going to complain about a dollar error. I am sure they corrected it shortly after I left. Next time I will pay more attention to the prices. At first I was thinking about ordering the King crab legs but the market price Saturday eve was $96.00.....a bit high in comparison to the other restaurants in the area. However, overall, the restaurant can't be beat. I visit about 10 times a year and love it every time.~
Dinner was great, Food was amazing, service was great
The Service was excellent !!!!
The Food was Great and it made for a special evening
For a steakhouse with a price-point on par with Ruths Chris, Morton's, and Vic & Anthony's, this place is overpriced for what you get.
The ambiance and service was great, if pricing was a little bit more in line with food quality, I would go back.
I have dined at numerous steakhouses throughout the US (Craftsteak, Gordon Ramsey Steak, Morton's, etc.) and selected to try this, based upon the rating on Yelp. The prices were what I expected for dining at a high end steakhouse, but I found some surprising limitations that should not be expected. Our group enjoys having bourbon with dinner and it would have been nice if they blocks or spheres of ice, in lieu of the basic ice from a machine. The selection of bourbon was ok, but could easily be expanded for little cost. I ordered the filet Oscar style and the steak was prepared to order. The lump crab meat was disappointing, since it was really just shredded snow crab meat. For the price, some nice lumps of crab should be expected....recommend they consider some king crab piece or pay attention on over cooking the snow crab, which causes this type of shredding. The cost for our entire bill is what we typically pay at a resturant of this type, but they need to up the ante (it is in a casino by the way) to make me put them in the same league with other venues.
We were looking forward to a nice prime rib dinner as we had previously experienced here at the Spa. Unfortunately, while the quality of the ingredients was good, the preparation was not. The shrimp cocktail (with 1 extra shrimp to make it 4 total) was flavorless, order crackers & cocktail sauce & save your $32! The Prime was equally disappointing, while cooked medium rare as ordered, it had zero flavor. The Spa is clearly in need of a new Chef with a sense of taste, take your money elsewhere!
3rd visit......as usual, outstanding. Service was excellent, food-very good, great setting. As usual, enjoyed tremendously, highly recommend.
$48 steak not cooked to order. Drink order wrong. Disappointing.
