Steak 954 at the W Fort Lauderdale

While the food and service are amazing, the pricing is out of control. I've been going here for years and watching the rates go up steadily. It was $200 for 3 of us with no alcohol and 1 shared filet. Otherwise great times...

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding!!

Unfortunately service was poor. My entree was over cooked and over salted . Chicken without sides for 30.00 not acceptable and was pressured into bottled still water assuming regular water was not offered.

The food was off tonight. I do not believe hospitality was able to handle the influx Of extra business due to family members coming in town for the holiday… Or they were shortstaffed because of their employees request for time off during the holiday? It’s unfortunate that they will lose local clients like ourselves when the quality of the service and food suffers like tonight. Tonight or steak was just OK and there was a 20 minute lag time From when we requested our drinks till the time we received it because apparently the bartender was in the weeds? Having to flag down a bus boy for service for a restaurant of this caliber is quite sad. After spending close to $600 for our meal, it is not acceptable to describe our evening as ‘mediocre’.

Incredible service! Our waitress was very attentive and the food was excellent! Would definitely come back for another anniversary and recommend to friends!

Fantastic from start to finish

Steak 954 is my favorite restaurant to visit while in Fort Lauderdale. They never disappoint. Everything was amazing!

The steak we decent. A little tough for a prime strip. Lacked seasoning.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. Natasha was excellent.

We were at this restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. Despite the Holiday, the chef prepared some “non-traditional” food choices; although I enjoyed the turkey with all the extras. We try and come here at least once every trip. The service is always great, as is the food. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone wishing I high end dining experience with waterside views.

We had a wonderful thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant served by an excellent server called Micheal. He made out first thanksgiving in the US a real treat. The food was tasty, but a little cold.

Steaks are pricey (as most steakhouses are). We got the filet, a little undercooked but a lovely cut of meat. Crab cake was excellent, there’s only one for $20 but it’s loaded with crab meat. All the sides were delicious. Nice wine list. Beautiful views outside and lovely ambiance inside.

This was a terrible restaurant experience. My date ordered the veal - it was absolutely inedible as it was so salty l, as were the mashed potatoes. He sent it back and the next piece was rubbery. My wagu beef was charred and crispy on outside but raw on inside and I sent it back - it was ok - that’s not good enough for wagu beef! The salad was ok and wine list was decent but overpriced. This was an overpriced mess!

Was a perfect location for a date night , sat outside the view of the oven was perfect. Food was delicious.

Great food as usual, but the service was slower than normal on this visit

Been here multiple times and generally the food is excellent. Today, while the food was good, the chef was VERY heavy-handed with the salt. My veal strip (yes, veal) which was a veal steak served in a chanterelles sauce was cooked perfectly but had way too much salt. Same was true of my wife’s strip steak and the truffled potato au gratin. All were cooked perfectly and tasty just way too much salt.

Given that we’ve been here before and haven’t had this issue I will attribute it to the chefs palette for the evening and hope that it’s not that way the next time.

Our waitress, Alexandra, was excellent and on top of everything. And, overall a good experience. And, Helen at the bar was also great too. Wonderful personality and made one great old fashioned. The service was totally spot on!

Btw, the tuna and foil gras tacos were awesome.

Didn't even know how to make a Irish coffee.
And try to tell me that they did it ok.

Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable. Food was amazing! Everyone loved the wagyu skirt steak and sides.

Steak 954 is an elegant restaurant set in a great location. The food was outstanding and prepared just right. The service was exceptional as was the ambiance. I’m looking forward to another fine dining experience soon.

Excellent food & service.

Sat outside but extremely dark and unable to read the menu without a flashlight. Served food before receiving our drinks. Rack of lamb quite fatty and very salty sauce. Sides were far too large for even 2 people. Overall not worth the money. Disappointing

Went for a special anniversary dinner. The service was fantastic. They really made us feel special. The food was amazing.

We have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Tonight was not a good experience...it was my husbands birthday, he only has steak once a year...the filet was asked for medium, it came still mooing...and cold, not a warm pink center, the hash browns were cold with no filling, i ordered the 68 dollar 954 Philly cheese steak, it was cut up in 4 sliders as if it was bar food that’s not how it use to be...and it was cold...it’s suppose to come with a split of Moët never came came until we asked for it...wedge salad was so soggy, inedible. Horrible birthday celebration food.::Locals who won’t be returning.... total disappointment bc we hate the loud tourist atomosphere...but would tolerate it for a great steak... not the place anymore for us.

Our son got engaged and we were meeting he and his future bride to make plans. Caroline was our server. She knew of our exciting news and she was just as excited as we were. She was on top of everything. The place was hopping and the food was exceptional. Thank you.
