We chose Steak 954 to celebrate our anniversary and were initially impressed — the venue is beautifully designed and very clean, which set a nice tone for the evening. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience didn’t match the ambiance. Shortly after we were seated, a large and loud all-male party was seated nearby. Their behavior was extremely disruptive, and it became clear our server was more focused on their table than ours. I waited over 10 minutes just to get a refill on my Diet Coke, and it was hard to get our server’s attention throughout the meal. We waited about 45 minutes for our food, which included a crab cake and a filet mignon ordered well done. The steak came out more burnt than properly cooked, and while the presentation was nice, the taste didn’t live up to the price. While we appreciated the small cupcake to mark our celebration, it didn’t make up for the lackluster service and food delays. For the premium price, we expected a more refined experience. Sadly, between the wait times, inattentive service, and mediocre food, we left disappointed. Not likely to return.

There were some nice touches, we were celebrating our anniversary, the waiter brought us a couple glasses of champagne, unfortunately I don’t drink and my wife is pregnant but it was thoughtful. When our food arrives my wife found a hair in the Mac and cheese side, that was a little disappointing. They brought it back and gave us another order, unfortunately we were basically done with our meals by the time the second try came out. The Mac and cheese was very good. After our meal the waiter brought us a complimentary red velvet cupcake to celebrate our anniversary. Overall it was a very pleasant evening.

I was going to be a few minutes late, so I messaged them in the app - they immediately wrote back and thanked me for letting them know and held my table for me! Waiter was knowledgable, professional and just the right amount of "friendly" - excellent service. Cocktails were great, and all food superb. Not the best acoustics as the room was very loud, but I still can't wait to go back!

We had lunch the other day outside on the patio and had the most wonderful experience and server. Sydney helped us and made great recommendations and was very friendly and accommodating - we will be back!

We sat outside and it was beautiful viewing the ocean and all of the activity. The food and service were wonderful. We are local and will be back!

We have eaten at several fine dint restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale area and this is without a doubt the WORST we’ve had in a long time. They tout the high temperature broiler and serve a cold steak. The ambience was totally out of control. The waiter seems to have forgotten the schedule and the time being appetizers, salads, and entrees was very broken

My girls and I dined here this past week for my birthday. The atmosphere was great and the service was ok. The food, however, was very underwhelming, especially for the price. My steak was undercooked so it had to be cooked more, making it overcooked and dry. I just decided to deal with it. The only other complaint is that our server was very slow, especially while awaiting our check. It took almost 15 minutes just to receive it and pay.

Our server was excellent!! Very personable and knowledgeable. Our food came out cooked perfectly. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in town.
