Our menu showcases locally-sourced products and ingredients in a small plate format.
The bar features only domestic beer, wine, and spirits. We offer a rotating craft draft and canned beer menu, a whiskey list of over 100 bourbons and ryes, as well as a handful of classic and creative specialty cocktails.
Great drink selection and delicious small dishes. Perfect if you are looking for a variety of snack appetizers and good drinks with friends. Service was attentive and friendly with an exciting, but not overwhelming atmosphere. Cool rustic feel!
Great happy hour, wonderful service and good food!
Loved the sharing plates. Shared 4 things and it was all delicious!
At one point Stateside was considered a fantastic restaurant and I literally used the words, “this may be my favorite restaurant.” I hadn’t been there in a while since I moved out of the area, and I was beyond disappointed when I went there on Saturday evening. It flat out sucked. The menu was different and for the prices, it was pathetically mediocre food (and drinks for that matter).
I will never go back.
Well we wanted to book Stateside in Seattle and by mistake we booked this one in Pennsylvania. We heard at Stateside in Seattle that lots of people make the same mistake LOL
Overall a “meh” experience. Disappointing as it used to be better here. The small plates menu was VERY limiting - salad, wings, oysters, and a few other similar items - not nearly something I would consider substantial enough for dinner. I was expecting maybe a small pasta dish, scallops, something to that affect. The menu online is simply wrong. Food was so-so, not great. House cab tasted like grape juice, I didn’t even want to drink it and waste the calories, but figured we were paying for it. While I think the bar is neat, probably would not return for dinner (and maybe not even wine).
Disappointed with this restaurant. Dining area music was too loud. Food was good, but portions extremely small considering the price. Dinner for two and a drink each cost almost $100 and we left hungry.
Food was delicious. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive (but not excessively so). The restaurant itself is not spectacular in terms of appearance but you must ask yourself if you’re going to eat delicious food or to be in a beautiful room. If it’s the latter, then head to some trap in center city where you’ll get rude service and meh food but you’ll be in a converted bank with beautiful accents. Stateside does it right and you won’t be let down by the people or the food.
Food ranged from okay to very good, the highlights were the cheese and meat board and the pasta. Drinks were excellent, pricing on drinks was reasonable compared with other local bars. Noise level is VERY high, so make sure you're ready to shout to be heard. Service was personal and friendly. Overall a nice spot.
This is such a solid spot for great food. The reservations fill up fast so get to it at least a week in advance. This is also a great place to bring friends from out of town, I can guarantee that Stateside's unique menu will be a first for your guest.
Good food, smaller menu and great beer selections.
Sophia was an absolute angel!! Couldn’t have been more helpful!! Made the meal so complete.
Will be back!!!
I would recommend Stateside to anyone I know. The food and drinks were outstanding and the waitstaff was wonderful!
The food was excellent and our server (at the table) was great - knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant. The big red flag: my out-of-town guest arrived before I did (at 5:15pm) and sat down at the bar. The bartender handed him a drink menu and never mentioned happy hour or specials (which included a $5 old fashioned, which he would have been thrilled with). So I ended up buying him a $12 cocktail off the drink menu during a stellar happy hour. Not happy about that.
Very unique dining experience. Ordered 2 small plated items from the menu and this was just enough for my friend and I. The staff was attentive to our needs, and informative with respect to our questions.
Would definitely visit again.
Our server was very friendly. The food took awhile to come out but it was a very good value, especially since we were there during happy hour and received $5 glasses of wine.
I don’t like that there are no big players anymore
Went for a birthday celebration with friends, who were less than enthusiastic about small plate eating. Stateside changed their minds, nobody left hungry. Great place, creative food and top notch service.
Awesome place. We had a great time. Gggggggghggghhhhhh
Server was so nice!!!
Lovely 5 cheese plate! Order the ‘Thats What she said’ drink!
Waiter and Bartender were nice guys and fun to talk to. Good service all around.
Only the small plate menu was offered, it was not enough for dinner. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for dinner, would’ve been nice to know beforehand that the entree/large plate menu would not be offered. Will return for drinks but would not order food.
I went here with 5 friends, celebrating a birthday in the group. The cocktails and drinks are fantastic. and decently priced. Our favorite was the 'That's What She Said'. Service was great. Don't come for a lavish dinner spread but if you're willing to split small plates, they have a decent variety and they are all done pretty well (we loved the calamari the best). I would definitely come back here.
Food was decent- little over priced. The bartender and drinks were awesome. Or server was horrible. We ended up leaving after apps and went to another restaurant for dinner.
Food was really creative, flavorful, and—for tapas—surprisingly filling. The two of us had three plates between us, and it was plenty!
The ambience was nice, casual, and comfortable
Delicious cocktails, knowledgeable and attentive staff, unique cuisine. I went here because I've only heard great things about Stateside from others, and they did not disappoint. Only real drawback for me was the noise level. The bar was rowdy and the venue is on the smaller side, so we found ourselves struggling to hear our conversation at times...but it was a Friday night in June, so they were crazy busy. I'll definitely be back to Stateside in the future.
Drinks were fantastic, food was good.
We only stayed for one round of drinks and a snack because it was so painfully loud despite going at only 6pm. Even with the windows around the bar open it was awful. They had music blasting so loud and that just made it worse with people yelling to be able to be heard. The drinks we had were very good and the rest of the cocktail list looked great. We had the beet snack and it was excellent. Would like to try on a quiet weeknight or maybe another Sunday that doesn't precede a holiday.
Always great cocktails. Food very good!
Amazing amazing and amazing!!
The outside closes at 8:30pm, but other than that everything was amazing.
Great spot.
Great neighborhood dining option - attentive service and good quality fare. Menu was well planned offering variety and interest to each small plate option. Good if not extensive set of craft beer options on tap and solid selection of spirits as well. Casual and inviting. Would definitely return.
Tim waited on us at the bar. He recommend the fish and chips which were excellent. The old fashion he made was exceptional. Look forward to returning soon. Also wanted to note the attention and service of Tim and the host, both were 5 star.
We brought our master distiller in for an absolutely incredible dinner. Cheese and meet board was unparalleled and the 22oz bone in ribeye dry aged for 22 days in house was wagyu level delicious. Would come back again and again
Whiskey selection was amazing - tried two tapas dishes and the chef’s board and couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend trying the ribs!
Have been meaning to go here since the George Sabatino days (sad news about Aldine BTW). Enjoyed the many beer offerings as well as wines by the glass. The menu is not very long but all the dishes we had (including the cavatelli, ribs, steamed buns, shrimp dumplings and risotto) were plenty for the four of us to enjoy. Opted out of dessert and walked down the street for rolled ice cream at Roly Cow Creamery (Capogiro was closed due to winter schedule). Excellent service by Taylor, so friendly and accommodating, attending to all of our needs.
Fabulous service, marvelous drinks, and great food made it a wonderful evening!
Food was good. Cauliflower was amazing. The lobster and shrimp were a bit bland but pastas were amazing.
