Made a 7:00pm reservation, waited behind several people to check in. Table was not ready. Waited about 20 min to be seated. Extremely loud party behind us, otherwise would have rated the volume lower. Waitstaff was excellent, food and drink were excellent. Would be back again, hopefully not as long a wait for a reservation.

we had requested outdoor seating, but when arrived, was seated inside. within about 20 minutes an outdoor table opened up. So we were moved. Also, was dissapointed, they ran out of special "egg rolls". When on special, should have ample supply for customers.

Service was very slow, music and tv were way too loud, couldn't even have a conversation. Never heard any specials, didn't have water brought to the table. Felt like we were in the way of a inexperienced server. Bad experience for Mothers day.

We had a charismatic experience; enjoying fantastic food, superb service, and delicious drinks! The HUGE outside patio boasted multiple fire pits, an awning to shade from the sun, long outside bar, and ample space for social distancing. Pictured below are the: · Grilled Shrimp Cocktail · SSG Burger · Fish Tacos · Chili Pepper Brussel Sprouts · Tequila shots and a Spicy Margarita Kim B. provided elite service! She was knowledgeable, displayed perfect timing, and shared her warm and relatable personality. Sandy, (one of the managers and mixologist) created a drink so tasty that all the flavors danced on our palates :) This visit was our first and will not be our last. Thank you all, SSG!

The dinner specials were both excellent. Wahoo and pork chop. Our server was really good, there when you wanted her but not interrupting at all. The room was a bit noisy but not overwhelming. We’ll be back!

Party of 5 had a very nice meal! Food was good! Happy to have the end of winter menu, pot pie & meatloaf. Very noisy though, tough to have conversation with older people. Our server, Vicki, was very good.

Kim our server is always amazing ! Knows the menu , and specials ! Food was fabulous as usual . Had the Pear salad with a side of Salmon which was cook by the chef perfect ! Lisa my wife had the same except with the house salad , she loved it , nice and fresh !!! Saw Richard there also who is a exceptional waiter !!! Love it here but can’t stand the music type Or noise level , last two times we were seated up Front and music too loud to talk especially as it gets crowded. Also very cold In front. The service and food and the way the food is served is 5 star! I wish we sat in back or outside. Seems better in back.

We have been to this restaurant many times over the years. Over the last month however, the quality of the food and service has gone down significantly. Tonight, our server treated us as if we inconvenienced her to be at the restaurant. The only good food we had was the French onion soup. We each ordered calamari, as that used to be our favorite item on the menu. This time it was cold, rubbery and little taste. The water for tea was not even hot enough to brew the teas bags. When my wife asked for hot water, she was ignored. She only received it when I asked again. We told the server, gave them back the food, and we never received an apology. They never attempted to make it right either. We did however hear the snide comments between the servers after we handed back the food. My wife and I had beet salads. The beets were tiny. Some were chewy like raisins. Some were burnt like shoe leather. There was almost no seasoning, except for vinegar, on the rest of the salad. My son’s burger was not memorable. The server was only friendly when we asked for the bill and she thought she was going to get a tip. We are normally very generous tippers. Not this time. To sum it up, we paid $114.50 for French onion soup.

We enjoyed the snapper special and the cauliflower Caesar with salmon Both came out perfectly prepared and with a nice presentation . Highly recommend both The drinks and apps came out quickly even though they were very busy. 10/10 rating !

I enjoyed lunch with a friend at the State Street Grill. The quiche of the day was excellent as was the side salad. The house chardonnay was also quite good and the prices were reasonable. Our server was very attentive. State Street Grill is a local treasure that offers casually elegant dining. It is a step up from your typical chain restaurant. I will certainly be returning!

I love state street grill! Always amazing food and drinks. It could be a tad bit brighter in there though as people were using their flashlights to see the menu lol. I can appreciate the ambiance but it’s alittle bit too dark especially in the back where there aren’t any windows.
