- TTheresaVIPLos Angeles •31 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a wonderful birthday lunch at Stonehouse. All the food was delicious and the service wonderful. i had the Branzino and it was perfectly cooked and had a delicious sauce. I loved that it was served with artichoke hearts, a great combination. All the servers were friendly and helpful. The only thing I would change would be the bread, I prefer sourdough and maybe add a caramel dessert. We had the bananas foster, but the bananas did not get cooked enough to bring out the flavor. Overall it was a spectacular afternoon and then we walked the garden and were in heaven. I have never seen it all in bloom and it was spectacular on May 5! The roses were stunning, the lemon arbor loaded with lemons hanging overhead, the herb garden, it was all amazing and delightful. One of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen!More infoStonehouse at San Ysidro RanchPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Santa Barbara•4.9

- BBrianLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined on May 1, 2025We celebrated my wife's birthday at Olivella, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel special—warm, attentive, and perfectly timed in their service. The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a romantic evening. Every course was exceptional: the pasta was handmade and perfectly cooked, the wine pairing was spot-on, and the dessert was a beautiful surprise that made my wife smile ear to ear. It felt like the kind of place where every detail is crafted with care. Olivella made a special night feel even more magical—absolutely worth every moment.More infoOlivella - Ojai Valley InnPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Ojai•4.9
- BBrandyLos Angeles •24 reviews5.0Dined on Apr 20, 2025Happy Easter! Decided to try the Cork and Batter. First of all I’m already a fan because they serve Bud Light and Diet Coke. I won’t go to a restaurant if they don’t have one or the other. My party ordered a wide variety of food, from baby back ribs, the pasta primavera, Caesar salad with shrimp, and the pastrami sandwich with onion rings, too many sides to mention and of course the pecan pie a la mode. The food was nicely presented. The service was fast and the server was very very nice. I’m sorry I don’t have her name but she did not leave me with an empty glass I always had Bud Light and she was on top of re filling the Diet Coke and margaritas. I’ve heard the prices mentioned in other reviews but I think they were fair. The prices are listed on line, so there’s no guessing. We had a very pleasant time. I’m not a country music enthusiast but the music added to the ambiance and wasn’t overwhelming. It was a very nice time and I’m sure we will be back soon.More infoCork and Batter Roadhouse - Simi ValleyPrice: Expensive• Barbecue• Simi Valley•4.2

Discover Tejon Pass
While the Tejon Pass may be best known for its driving rather than its eating, there are a number of dining options for you to enjoy. A mountain pass road that links Southern California to the Central Valley, Tejon Pass may not feature fine dining, but there are several casual choices for a great meal. Besides chain restaurants, you can find family-run restaurants that feature cuisine like baby back ribs and chicken fried steak as well as hearty soups prepared and cooked on the premises. Mexican fare is also present with menu items including sizzling steak or chicken fajitas with freshly-baked tortillas, chilaquiles en chile verde and even roasted jalapeno peppers with lime.
