We were on the patio, which is nicely set up and comfortable, even in the early summer heat. We arrived early but were seated at our table (we were also there before 5 on a Friday, which contributed to the speed of seating). Our waiter, Caleb, was wonderful! The food was tasty and exactly as ordered. The drinks were also wonderful. The restaurant got very busy as the evening progressed, so we were glad we were there early. We’ll definitely go back!

Chicken Milanese was amazing - we've come to the Grove several times, and this time was definitely our favorite. Food was delicious. The crispy ribeye could have been cooked a little less - it would have been perfect if it was medium rare, but still great flavor and texture. The truffle fries were also really good - no need for ketchup. It was a bit noisy and harder to hear, which my wife and I were on a date night before going to the Tyler Swing Dance class, so that was the only downer really, the noise level. We also were sat close to the entry way for the servers to come in and out to bring food, which was a little distracting. But, all in all a great experience. We love 2 hours away, but this has become one of our favorite date spots over the years. Great getaway spot when we can get someone to keep the kiddos. Highly recommend!

The steaks (and chicken) are truly something special. There are great steaks to be had in the area but Blackhawk’s extra special. It’s worth the short drive.
