Great food and service. Staff very good. Staff very helpful and assisted us with securing a taxi during a busy time that required multiple calls. Food great, risotto a bit on the al dente side for one of us.

Great Firenze rooftop drinks and dinner experience. Matteo and the team were so gracious and attentive. The view of the evening sunset was gorgeous!

Lo Scudo is our favorite restaurant in Florence. We first came here in 2018 and religiously return every time we come back to Florence. The consistency is near perfection: the drinks, the food, the wine list. This most recent experience was no exception. The brothers who own this restaurant have poured their hearts into it! When friends journey to Florence, we always recommend (insist) they go to Lo Scudo! The pastas are well done, and the Fiorintina Bistecca is the best we have ever had!

Beautiful restaurant and the steak I have ever eaten

Lovely setting. Highly recommend the mushroom flan and pici with wild boar. Skip the eggplant. Nona’s cream cake was not what we expected. So glad we went!
