Had a wonderful experience at Rupert's Bar and Grill. Friendly staff and delicious foods. Enjoyed the wine pairing suggestion with the meal. Would eat there again.

Essen has an interesting concept; open 3 days a week, with menu changing every week. Set menu only, plus BYO only, no alcohol served. No surprise, Stanthorpe is surrounded by good wineries, and it's a great cost cutting measure, too. It certainly didn't affect the quality. Food was outstanding in every way. 5 course dinner, the quality was consistent from the first to the last dish. Indeed, it's hard to find a restaurant where all served dishes hit the top mark. We attribute that not just to great chef, but to top quality ingredients, too. Service was immaculate, ambience very interesting and warm. The whole experience was a joy. Well done.

Service was delightful and orders for drinks Anna food taken swiftly on arrival. Meals arrived in perfect timing even though the restaurant was fully booked. The entire’ and mains surpassed our expectations with the rump and Barra cooked to perfection. The delicacy of the scallops and quail also a sensory explosion. There meals were a great portion size and after seeing the desserts going to other patrons, I could have squeezed it in. Amazing value!!!!

We had the Lamb roast of the day and the Lasagna. Both were delicious
