This wasn’t dinner. This was a whole experience. The boat taxi took us to a remote little beach otherwise not accessible where Armeni’s was the only restaurant. Then we sat in this quaint spot with a sunset view that was breathtaking. The primary host brought out a cart with a tote of fish just brought in that day and described each fish to us, had us pick what we wanted, and threw it on the grill. He made excellent and honest recommendations. When he says the grilled prawns are the best on the island I don’t see how it can’t be true, so good. When the fish came out it was carved and deboned in front of us. And to top it off since we did our reservations at 6:30 on the boat ride back home we got an incredible view of the lit city up on the cliffs that you’d only get from sea. This wound up being our favorite experience while in Santorini.
