Always excellent both for service and value,one of my favourite places for coffee

We really enjoyed the food. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and chips were delicious. Every member of staff was polite, courteous and engaging. This is really important to my husband and. I. Really liked the ambience of Hawksmoor, calming and we could hear each other. It’s architecturaly beautiful inside and it’s great to see it used as a restaurant. Food was excellent value, coukd highly recommend the strawberry pavlova, declicious and beautifuly presented.

We arrived with our daughter who uses a wheelchair to find that ramps had been placed out already in advance of our arrival. This was much appreciated and made it so much easier for us! Staff were friendly and welcoming, and very helpful. The food and drinks were of a very high standard and we much enjoyed our evening. Hope to return soon!

Great lunch with great service and variety, my daughter came with us while visiting from the UAE, and she was very impressed. Well done everyone at the Allanton Inn.
