The owner gave us a warm welcome, he remembered it was a special occasion for us (honeymoon), and immediately offered us a drink. He and his staff were so helpful and friendly - we felt at home straight away. We sat outside at this beautiful restaurant right on the estuary, and enjoyed fabulous fresh food. I was met with relaxed warmth, openness about teething problems (the changeover is ongoing) and always felt very at home - I stayed 2 nights as well as eating. The food was so good - the ribs and marmite potatoes (yes really) absolutely perfectly done, with good beer to choose from and just really good vibes all round.
