We read the many glowing reviews on the journey down so we’re looking forward to validating them. It did not disappoint - the menu was interesting with plenty of choices and the food we ordered was superb-tapioca crusted halloumi with delicious dips, chicken goujons with Asian slaw and fish & chips ! Service was excellent-invested staff, knew the food, served with enthusiasm & a smile etc. They were busy but the wait time was perfect! We will definitely be back! Have already recommended to friends who intend visiting! Don’t be put off thinking, with the many locals sitting drinking outside, that this is just a pub - it is a pub but with a great restaurant!
