We enjoyed dinner on a recent trip to Taomina. The service was outstanding. The food was good, but so predictable for a Michelin star restaurant. I wish that these Michelin chefs would do more than simply foam various foods. They’ve been doing it for 30 years. How about trying something new… 

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my anniversary at the Bar & Chiostro in the Four Seasons Taormina, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and friendliness, making us feel right at home. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, providing a perfect backdrop for our special occasion. The highlight of our evening was a delightful surprise from the staff: a beautifully presented dessert to commemorate our anniversary. This thoughtful gesture truly made our night unforgettable and demonstrated their commitment to excellent service. The menu offered a fantastic selection of drinks and dishes, all crafted with care. We enjoyed every bite and sip, further enhanced by the stunning surroundings. I highly recommend Bar & Chiostro for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience, whether for a special occasion or just a night out. The restaurant is so charming and beautiful! Best pizza I ever eat. Julia made sure to make us comfortable and even fixed a couple of other reservations we had with this group. We are so happy with the service!

This restaurant was hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets of Toarmina and well worth finding. The ambiance was nice with our table on the second floor outside but under cover. Our waitress was new and made many mistakes, like forgetting to bring the wine we ordered. She also brought my soup with my family's entrees, even though I asked for it early, then didn't place my entree order until I finished the soup. Aside from the service, the food was wonderful as was the house wine.
