Our meals were outstanding! Book early this place is going to get booked out! Food, atmosphere and service were fabulous.

The service was really good. The food was good too but we did think the menu for main meals was very limited. It would be nice to have a few alternatives apart from food that pubs offer. The only ‘different’ alternatives were a risotto and a beef dish? Otherwise very ordinary menu and quite expensive.

Beautiful location, excellent staff and wonderful food! Will be back again for sure when next in Hobart.

So happy to see Six Russell listed as one of Tasmania’s top restaurants in The Australian. I’ve been in four times now, and every time it’s been amazing. The parfait and tartare are still my favourites, but this time we had friends in from the mainland and tried the wagyu beef and ‘very good mash’—and both were just utterly perfect. But Order the bread. That’s incredible. And servings were really large. Couldn’t fit in dessert. But couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend and the service is next level.

Staff are always accommodating. The setting is stylish and exceptionally clean. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. Drinks are fabulous. It’s our ‘go to’ in Hobart.
