Such a wonderful date night. Loved our waitress, Carmen. Super professional and accommodating. Delicious food, scallops and Arctic char fish were great. The ambiance is a bit dated (even though it is modern). They need to revamp their decor (carpet!!) Overall super clean though. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Rockwell Republic is a unique gastropub located in the historic Heartside district of Grand Rapids. The made-from-scratch, seasonal menu items and the environment are both very eclectic. Enjoy the two floors of exposed-brick and rich mahogany wood, the three-season screened lounge or the outdoor beer garden. Happy hour is alive and well at Rockwell Republic with flat prices on select sushi rolls and shared plates.
In addition to happy hour, a great time to visit is for lunch - one hour validated free parking is included. There are plenty of options on the menu, including sandwiches, grill items, pasta, soups and desserts. The shared plates are exceptional, such as the beer cheese dip and artichoke and goat cheese fondue. Hearty appetites will enjoy the generous 12-ounce New York strip or the baked lobster mac, which are served in the evening at Rockwell Republic.
