Always so fresh and tasty. The pompano in truffle oil is divine. The hamachi and tuna in orange oil provides a great balance between savory and sweet.
Extremely expensive for the quality and quantity of the food.
We think it is the best sushi in Atlanta. My husband and I are regulars (3+times per month). The staff is very friendly and the selection is terrific.
There was 6 of us at the table, which I had only booked for 4 but they accommodated the change without any fuss. We shared dishes and food arrived quickly. The ambiance was friendly. Food excellent. All in all I had a great meal:) Recommend highly.
Wow! I live in Midtown and have passed by this restaurant for years but never stopped in. My mistake!
Went there last night and found the service and food to be phenomenal! The Sushi was Fresh and the rolls were creative and delicious!
The other thing that I loved most, was the fact that my friend and I could dine together and actually have a conversation with each other. So many restaurants these days are so loud that you cannot hear or concentrate.
Will definitely go back and will certainly recommend that others do the same!
This was our first time to Statfish. We had friends in from out of town. The food was good but the service was not good. Took forever to take our order. Had to ask for water. Drinks at from the bar took forever. Even after we got our food everytime we needed something it took forever to flag down a waiter or waitress. It was nit even half full on a Fri night. So the lack of service was not due to a full restaurant. We will not be back.
Went here for a date. The sushi was very good but their special roll menu was dominated by spicy tuna. It was an ingredient featured a little to prominently on the menu
Dinner before a concert. Had soup and The War of the Worlds platter, so good and almost more than we could eat!
Great spot. Delicious foods. Fair pricing.
Food was great. The service was excellent. The ambiance was nice. Will definitely go back.
The Spicy Korean Pork, Galbi, and Lamb were fantastic entrees. For dessert, we had their chocolate cake. It was the perfect amount for two after a large dinner and was delicious. The service was attentive and respectful. Will definitely be coming back on the regular.
Parking is also very good for Buckhead/Atlanta
Starfish is our favorite 'date night' restaurant! The sushi is terrific, the chefs and staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very calm.
Sushi was delicious but they forgot our teriyaki steak order. They were nice and didn’t charge us for it.
Easy parking & love sitting & looking out over P’tree
Great cocktails but $$$$
The sashimi appetizers are not to be missed! Hamachi in orange oil. Pompano in truffle oil and black sea salt. Yum!
Excellent service and food.
Food was great however it took entirely too long to get a sushi roll
Always a great experience at Starfish! Not sure if it is under new ownership, the new menu looks great and has been updated to include many more trendy options. Reasonable pricing along with good saki and beer options. This is one of those everyday restaurants with no fuss, but delicious food and an attentive staff.
We love Starfish for a date night away from the kids. The dining room is so cozy, the sushi is amazing and you get to watch it being prepared (from our favorite table near the sushi bar).
Udon noodles and shrimp tempura , and seafood and noodles both were delicious, good portions, fine service. Will return.
Great service! Beautiful restaurant! And the sushi was amazing! Probably some of the best that I’ve had in Atlanta. Will be visiting again soon.
Starfish is really good. They offer some unique dishes that will keep us coming back. The servers are friendly and fast. The noise level is perfect for a business dinner and we had an awesome meal!
Starfish is a small sushi restaurant that is quiet, never busy, and serves mid-price sushi, and other Japanese dishes. I particularly like their miso soup. Ingredients seem fresh. They also offer mid-priced wines (such as Hook & Ladder Chardonnay), and Asian beers.
I enjoy it for a low-pressure, but still nice dining experience. It's not noisy/clattery like so many restaurants these days and features soft comfortable chairs and booths. The service is reasonably attentive and not intrusive. Overall a great little spot for sushi and conversation.
All food was very good except for the gumbo. The roux was bitter which usually means it was burnt.
They seemed a little short-staffed on my last visit. This is my neighborhood sushi go-to spot, so I have to give them a break. Usually it’s a great experience!
Parking not as difficult as many sites say. Three is retail parking under the restaurant building. We were disappointed the first two menu items and the first wine choice not available. Service was not very attentive. Sushi portions were very good and tempura lobster was delicious. Too many rolls to pick from.
We love the special appetizers. The pompano/truffle oil and Hamachi/Orange oil are amazing! Sit at the bar and watch Sam do his thing.
The sushi was so fresh and delicious. Extremely glad I tried this place and will definitely be back!
Waiter very nice. Quality of fish seems to have gone down. Not a lot of flavor and seems tough. Very expensive, for what you get.
Great sashimi, and the rolls are unique and delicious. Will go back for sushi.
This Sushi Bar is outstanding!
Rolls and nigiri are creative and delicious.
Our favorite go to for sushi.
Take out great too!!
Food was really good. Sushi was super fresh. I would say one of the best sushi spots in Atlanta.
Very nice place. The selection was great and could not complain about the portions.
Love their sushi and easy place to get in and out of...won't be disappointed!
Sushi was horrible and way overpriced. When my husband doesn't finish his rolls you know it's bad. The rolls had either pungent fishy taste or no flavor at all. The eel was cut different and it was so think and made it unappealing to eat.
Good place to get a bite
My favorite sushi place in the city...and I eat a LOT of sushi. The menu is plentiful and diverse, with unique names that add some extra flair.
Portions of sushi were small and overpriced for the portions. Service was spotty
My favorite restaurant in Atlanta. I could eat there every day and sometimes do. Fresh, fresh fish. Creative, delicious rolls. Amazing chefs, attentive wait staff, all eager to please. Something for everyone - mild, spicy, raw, cooked. The Best!!
