Staple & Fancy Mercantile, ubicado en la floreciente zona de Ballard de Seattle, es la última apuesta del célebre chef Ethan Stowell. Went there for an anniversary dinner with my girlfriend. We ordered a couple of appetizers, pasta dishes, and a side. Each plate was delicious. The highlight was the pasta, both the linguini and rigatoni. I would recommend making reservations for later on in the evening, rather than earlier. There were scant reservation times available, which led me to believe that the place would be bustling. Not so much, until the very end of our dining experience. One thing to highlight was the waiter was top-notch. He was very friendly, checked on us plenty, and helped create a relaxing experience. We never felt rushed or neglected one bit. Overall, a very positive dining experience, and we will come back again.

From the time we arrived to the moment we left the building we were treated with the best customer service. The tasting menu is a must try! The host, servers, and bartender all worked together and timed our plates to be enjoyed at a perfect pace and a truly memorable culinary experience. We will definitely be returning.

We come here often, and it's fantastic. It's got that authentic Italian flavor, but also a lot of creativity, and not in an obnoxious or pretentious way. The service is impeccable, and I've never had a meal less than perfectly prepared and presented. My only critique is that when it's busy, the food orders seem to process much more quickly than the drinks. I've come here for dates, big family dinners, and get-togethers with friends.

I came here for Seattle Restaurant Week, and the food was delicious! The wine was also excellent. The service was great, and I have no complaints. Wonderful restaurant.

The place is very busy. We were seated a little more than 30 min after our reservation, but we had a cocktail in the interim. The service was excellent, and the food very good. I'll be returning.

The food was phenomenal and a great experience, especially if you're willing to share. That's the best way, it's all set up to sample! The only thing that bugged us was the door led right into the dining area and even though they had one of those curtains to help block the air, they did not have it pulled. So there was a chilly draft that kept coming in throughout the evening.

The food is top notch, the customer service is professional and friendly, the prices for meals is I would say, priced appropriately for the quality of food. The presentation of the food is done very well. Good for small groups.
