It was a Date Night with my Wife and we wanted to try out a new steakhouse. We were going to be in Tacoma for the day so after some Steakhouse Googling, I picked this one to try. We weren't disappointed. Right as you walk in and look to the right you have a beautiful view of the DT Tacoma skyline and The Dome, simply beautiful, especially since it was a clear Saturday Night and no rain!. Next the staff was exceptional. Friendly when checking in, even on a night where it was extremely busy. We made our way into the bar since we got there a little earlier than our 2030 reservation. The bartenders were pretty cool and friendly. We ended up dining at the bar since they had a table available in the room. Our Server was Jose. Nothing less than exceptional service from him. Stopped by frequently and always asked if there was anything else he can get for Us or if we had any questions about the menu. The food did take a little longer to come out but My Wife and I were informed beforehand that they were a little backed up. We had no problem since we were enjoying the night there and Jose was keeping us well hydrated and brought that garlic bread by the entire time. Finally the food gets to the table (NY Steak for the Wife and 10 oz. Filet Mignon for Me) and..... Drooooool...... Well worth the wait. Food was perfectly cooked as ordered and tasted amazing. We ended the night with a couple more drinks and Key Lime Pie, which neither of Us had before and even that was incredible!!! All around, highly recommend for a couple's Date Night or if you want to splurge one night. We'll definitely be going back.

What a huge disappointment. We are from out of town. I have always wanted to try Stanley and Seafort's as I have driving by this many times along the freeway. We both ordered the Wagyu steak and what we thought we would receive was nothing close. The service was so slow. The steak was dead cold. We advised the waitress... she took the platers and returned 5 mins later and all they did was throw the old cold steak on the grill to flash grill it. The Wagyu was horrible by this point. This establishment needs to do better. I would never return. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Horrible food-inedible...raw scallops that smelled bad, over cooked salmon and rubbery lobster. Our dinner took 3 hours to arrive. Half our groups’ food was in the window for awhile so everything came out really reheated tasting. They comped us and explained they were embarrassed because they had over 400 diners when they were expecting 200. It seems like a lame excuse since this restaurant has been around forever. We will never be back, even if it’s free.

We celebrated a wedding anniversary this evening. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a window seat and a nice note congratulating us. The server was nice and attentive but forgot to bring us the wine we ordered with dinner. She did however buy desert for us which was very nice.

Meeting good friends returning from recent trip. Really good table-waitress was exceptional, handled our "banter" really well. Nice view--was able to order the "lunch-Combo" and "found" a most wonderful Sauvignon Blanc---"Grieve" from CA that made for a most memorable afternoon---two bottles--just great!!!!

The food was amazing ! Our server was so pleasant and attentive. Great value for the food we ordered. 6 persons in our group and we all ordered something different. Could not believe how everyone said their food was excellent. We will be back. Prices are very comparable to those establishments on the waterfront, but you sure get more for your buck. We will be back. Oh, by the way, the view was incredible.

Food was good, but service was very poor. Long wait times between courses and two requested items never showed up. This included coffee (requested with dessert) that never came! We have had our anniversary (#34 in this case) dinner here over 20 times and have always had excellent service in the past. That is why we were so very disappointed this visit. Was also disappointed that when I booked the reservation I noted our anniversary and even though there was a nice card on the table acknowledging the event, they seated us at a table for 4 in the middle of an isle with alot of foot traffic from both customers and wait staff. I expected a more private booth as we always had in the past. This was not a good dining experience.
