Always a great experience. They have updated their menu. Hard to choose because everything sounds so delicious. Usually end up deciding based on the sides.
Delightful lunch!! The food was very good and the service excellent as always! Thank you for the window seat.
Very good food and great service. Awesome view!
I was not impressed with the food. The house salad and main course vegetable sides appeared to be the same. The steelhead was undercooked at medium. Crime brûlée was very good.
Service was great once we were seated, had to wait a bit for a hostess.
Fish was great the breading too dry and too much cornmeal in it.
I have been here a few times now. Each time hoping it would ve vetter than the last. Not so. This time my wife ordered fish and chips. The fish was under cooked and mushy. Not impressed.
Great food, great service, wonderful nighttime view. Our first time there in 16 years because we moved out of the area, but every bit as great as we remembered.
Decades of fine dining. It hasn't changed. Every visit is a lasting memory.
Overall our experience was amazing. My only minor complaint was with the frequency of our water glasses remaining empty.
The food was extremely disappointing.
We’ve been dining with them for almost 14 years and if we feel like dining we come and Stanley and Seaforts had never let us down
Our family went for a birthday celebration for two people. Wonderful food, table ready and set up for 7. Child friendly menu. Waitress was very attentive and food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I have been here before and it was great. This time I took a leap and tried the lamb and it was extremely tough, under salted and over seasoned. Really not a great piece of meat for the price I paid. Our server did not visit enough for drink refills and left us waiting a while before we were able to order.
Food and service are always good at S&S but the noise level can be excessive and prevent conversation when the place is busy. It was nice to dine there mid-week in the winter when all of us could hear one another and enjoy the dinner as well. Four of us enjoyed our meals (prime rib, salmon, scallops, pasta) and the ambiance. I look forward to returning under similar circumstances!
The service was very slow. Took 20 minutes to get our drinks and 90 minutes to get our meal!! The food was cold when we got it. We ate it anyway because we didn’t have time to send it back. It was very disappointing. I recommended this location to the group and felt bad for everyone. I haven’t been here for a long time. I hope our experience was unusual and is not the typical service delivered now.
Great restaurant, food and service while dining was great. The hostess was ok. I had made reservations requesting a table by the window however they did not have it reserved for me when I got there and had to wait so long we finally just opted for a booth seat which also had a great view, but I didn’t know that because we never dined in there before, only at the bar. The hostess should have given us that option and let us know up front but instead we had to wait. The food was delicious, I would definitely recommend. I come a lot for happy hour at the bar which is great.
Great View, Great food, Great service. Love this place. Had the crab stuffed sole and my wife had the seafood Louie. Great job on the food and excellent service.
The view is spectacular. The food is great. Awesome place to go with friends.
Beautiful scenery, attentive staff & delicious food.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent but the music was way too loud. It was difficult to have a nice conversation since it was hard to hear the other person above the loud music.
The service was excellent and the food superb. Best French onion soup ever, and best cheesecake ever! Burger was huge and perfectly prepared, and the crab filled sole was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Highly recommend!
There was a lot of waiting - It took about 2 hours total for our dinner waiting for the salad, then, waiting for the main entrée, then, waiting for the dessert. We didn't have to wait too long for the bill however. But, 2 hours of sitting was just a little too long! The food was mostly good, I thought the spinach was too oily though. The bread was warm and delicious! I was impressed with your food- so delicious! My other suggestion is to warm up the place just a little, I had to leave my down coat on all evening. If you go in, you'll see all most of the guests still have their jackets on!!!
We always enjoy our meals at Stanley and Seaforts. Food is always tasty and plenty served. We have never had a bad experience here and will continue coming.
Service was a little slow - seemed to be understaffed, but the restaurant was not busy. Food was delicious. A remodel might be a good idea - especially the bathrooms.
The wait was a little long even with reservations..but what can yah do.
Food was good, service was best.
I am a little behoved by th bathrooms... should do a little updating.
We were a party of 6 and 3 of us ordered the prime rib, med rare. It was more rare so I might order med next time. After about 1/4 eaten, my son decided he just couldn't eat anymore because it was to rare. So the manager came by, offered his apology and told us he would get a complete new plate and a complimentary dessert to share. Overall we enjoyed our dinner.
Great service and friendly staff! Food was delicious, definitely recommend you to try them out.
The service was excellent and meal was very good. The vegetables were a little cold otherwise the meal would have been equally excellent. As always a fun and beautiful place to meet up.
Food was good. Not expensive. Service was really good.
First of all the food is world class. I am the father of a chef and the son of a chef. So when it comes to fine dining I'm well schooled. This place is a five-star location no doubt about it. The wait staff was excellent the hostess was great the meal and desserts and appetizers was heavenly. I couldn't have planned for a better dining-out experience than what I have received at Stanley and Seafort's.
Traditional high-end restaurant. Great atmosphere, impeccable service. Menu is outstanding. A Tacoma landmark. One of our all-time favorite places to dine.
It was a great evening out. Had been there before and enjoyed it then and now.
I took my son there to celebrate his 18th birthday. We had a great experience, my only complaint is that it was cold inside as we were seated at the window upon my request, so, I really have no right to say anything.
I loved the atmosphere but my server seemed frazzled most of the time which lead to it taking about 20 25 minutes for drinks and another 10 for bread. Then my order was placed wrong. It did get fixed and they compted our desert. Which was nice but I wish it had been a little smoother of a night expecially since it was our first time here.
We enjoyed our dinner. We werent rushed and were able to relax and take in our surroundings.
Awesome dining experience. Great food and service. Thanks to our waitress Danielle and Scott, the GM, everything exceeds our expectations.
Food is good, parking is a nightmare!
found a peice of plastic in mash potatoes, everything else was awesome otherwise!
The food, atmosphere and service were very good but for our budget this is a once a decade or very special occasion restaurant due to the high cost of menu items especially when you have to order a salad separately.
We really have enjoyed both times we’ve had dinner at Stanley and Seafort’s. Staff and food were excellent.
