Good food, but no salad with entree, kinda weird. Great service. Great flavor
Each time I eat at Stanford's the quality of the food lacks more each visit.
Had soup and sandwich lunch special. Food was great.
Good prime rib sandwich and excellent fish soup. Lots of retired folks and families with kids made it a noisy business lunch however. Overall good value.
We had 5 adults, 2 children and a newborn baby for Easter brunch/dinner. Everything was perfect. The kids menu at Stanford’s is exceptional, and there are many good choices for adults too. The restaurant is big, without a crowded feeling. Best of all it is quiet, and you can actually converse with each other.
Visited for Easter Sunday brunch. Choose Stanfords because it was from a special Easter brunch menu instead of a buffet. They also provided there regular menu which is also pretty awesome. The brunch menu was very reasonably priced and the food was good as expected.
Birthday for mother.
The food was delicious and there was a delightful server from France, who unfortunately wasn't our server. Our server was friendly and adequate but seemed to disappear for long periods of time. We were kept waiting a couple of times for really long periods of time. We ended up taking our bill up to the front to finish paying. We had patiently waited for her return and weren't in a hurry, but enough's enough. We wanted to get on with our evening and were held up too much. Might have been not enough servers available that night but it was unfortunate for us.
Stanfords is always a safe bet -- the food is well prepared and consistent. I know that since we often will have the same thing each time we dine here.
We eat at Stanford's for all of our special occasions. Always have a great variety to choose from. I have never been disappointed.
Great happy hour menu. Friendly and helpful waiter. Wish you would open a restaurant in Honolulu!
The service was very slow and the prices were very high for the quality of food.
I would not recommend it.
I have eaten at Stanfords many times, it is our go to spot. I rated it low overall because, even though we had a reservation, we had to wait over 30 minutes for a table for 5.
Our server was delightful and attentive as well as personable. However, it took a long time to get our orders. It also seemed that the menu wasn't as broad as in the past.
Have arranged several group dinners at Stanford's. Service always excellent as well as the food. Very easy to work with. I highly recommend Stanford's for all of your dining needs.
Nice place, reasonable prices and good food. Service was a bit slow though:-(
We love Stanfords and plan to eat there still because it's such a pleasant atmosphere, great service, usually excellent food, and overall our favorite. This one time my oysters, prepared in a way I requested, were definitely cold and not done very well. This is a first, and perhaps the chefs couldn't quite pull off a change in the prep. But we still haven't had hardly a negative thought through all the last years, so we're sure next time will be as excellent as always. Garlic, onions, breading and so many other ingredients are not on my special diet, so even with that, the staff usually pulls off one fine meal. Thank you
We requested and received a quiet booth. Our waitress was outstanding, very attentive but not intrusive. We enjoyed a very tasty and relaxed evening with friends we had not seen in some time and are appreciative for not being rushed. There was a nice variety of choices for dinner and all were very good. Had the onion rings as an appetizer which were perfect in flavor, texture and not greasy.
It was our first time there and we really enjoyed it! We have 4 kids and they all really liked it too! The food was great and a lot of food options. We also thought the service was great! Will be going back.
Food was hot and very little waiting and very good. Service was exceptional.
Atmosphere was good.
Lovely lunch. My salad was wonderful & we had attentive service.
The food was very salty. The restaurant seemed to have musty smell, and a bit unkept. The steak was not cooked the way it was ordered, and very pricey. The bill did not match the experience or the quality of the food.
Took 45+ minutes to receive two simple burgers. At that point the burgers were soggy and it was clear that it was sitting under a warmer for a while.
Always a good place to go have a meal.
This place is doing a good job with the food...always well prepared. The staff was average at best and the interior, once very nice, is looking a bit tired. So, considering the prices are somewhat high ($90 for two) I’d hoped for a little better.
We had an awesome dinner for my Husband's birthday. The service was great and the meal was delicious!
We were celebrating the date we met, 42-years ago...plus we set-up two really good friends up on a blind date. It was a very fun evening. The service was excellent and our food was delicious!
We love Stanford’s, always our go to!
Reasonable food at reasonable prices. That’s what to expect at Stanford’s. My steak was good, not great, but good. My wife had the halibut and said that it was tasty. We had the cheesecake for dessert. Not memorable but okay.
Our favorite go to, love them!
Delicious food. Excellent service. Thanks for a lovely birthday dinner.
Food was wonderful!
Great meal for both of us. Nice menu selection
Nice close to home upper scale place to eat. Service was great. Food was good. Steak was a little tough. Fish and Chips were good. Friends we brought liked their food. Weekday evening dinner so not crowded or loud. That was nice.
Our food was so good it melted in our mouths. My husband had the Dijon chicken and I had the fillet mignon. We were celebrating our 33rd anniversary and we had a relaxing dinner with excellent service and the food was sooooo good. 😊
Went for a date night with my husband with the $100 gift card my company gave us for Christmas. We went for happy hour, great drinks at 5.95 from 3-6, I had a pomegranate margarita which was good, a bit sweet but I liked it. The cranberry mojito was delicious! Had lots of yummy bites all at $10 a plate or less. Crab sushi roll was good, the regular sliders were great and the pepper bacon mac'n cheese was phenomenal! We ended with a death-by-chocolate martini and a chocolate chip cookie skillet and it was hands down the BEST way to end our meal. I would go back just for dessert any day! We sat in the bar, great seats, comfortable, my only complaint would be it was a little dark and hard to see, but other than that, I am looking forward to our next visit!
Birthday dinner
Expensive for what we get.
The service was great, the food was wonderful and we will definitely be back.
fish tacos had very little fish and were not especially tasty. cheesecake was good.
