We have been coming here for Christmas dinner for 4 years now and the food is always great. This year only disappointment was they ran out of ribs but husbands second choice of Filet mignon was excellent and he was very happy. Would be nice if they changed the menu a bit for next year.

Stanford's comes through every time. We decided to have Christmas dinner at Stanford's. Food quality, charm, and excellent service at Stanford's are top notch. For major holidays, they put together a special limited menu. The variety is terrific and includes new things and familiar favorites.

The food was iffy—thrown on the plate, not quite hot enough. The vegetables were SOAKED in oil and my prime rib was rubbery. Expensive for what you get.

This was my mother's Christmas celebration for me and 2 of my 5 siblings. The food was great. The staff were very attentive. However, our waiter seemed rather defensive in some of his responses. We were a very active table with an off-beat sense of humor which seems problematic for him.

Very disappointing lunch. Crab cakes were dreadful, more breadcrumbs than anything else. No flavor at all. Wonderful server, wish the food was as good as the service. Thank you for being a classy operation and not charging me for the crab cakes, that helped a lot.

Regular customers of this Stanfords but mostly at night. Had our business Christmas lunch there. Food was great but the employees were like walking zombies. Very unfriendly, service was not the best. Had to ask for refills on drinks, hardly saw her. Blonde lady hostess, probably the day manager, had a horrible attitude and it definitely flowed down through all the employees. Service industry needs to remember that their paychecks are provide by satisfied customers. Day management/employees need a little service attitude adjustment.

This was the first time I went to Stanford's for dinner. I selected the restaurant based on a little research on line. The reviews were generally good and the location convenient for me. Although a bit crowded, we were seated immediately with the reservations I made. We did not feel rushed and the Service and food were very good.

Once again we ha a lovely evening at Stanfords. Our server was the best and the Lemon Drops from the bar couldn't have been better!! Next time we are going to request table #11 or #12 for a quieter spot.

Normally Stanfords makes a good prime rib , not on this occasion. 3 of our six top ordered prime rib medium-rare. We all got rare, very rare, Very disappointed. The manager took $60 off of our bill which was appreciated. The server was great as well.

The restaurant was busy, with nearly every table filled, but we were seated immediately when we arrived at our reservation time. The food was delicious and well presented. The wait staff were hopping because of the business, but they also helped each other out and worked wonderfully as a team, and were attentive to our table.

We will definitely be back.

At our table of 6, we had (2) chicken, oysters, shrimp, and calamari and steak. ALL were overcooked and dry. Vegetables were good and service was great, but very pricey for what we received.

Waited even with reservations. Was seated at the BACK of the place. Waited for our drinks even though other couple, seated later than us was given their drinks first. Front desk was not willing to move us to a booth saying seating was PREASSIGNED. The chairs were uncomfortable. My filet mignon arrived rare. Bloody. I requested MEDIUM. Since I am a diabetic, if I would have to send it back and wait more was not an option . (Cheweeeee) Filet Mignon is supposed to be a wonderful piece of steak. Their Thanksgiving Turkey dinner was only a couple of dollars less then the steak and the turkey did not look as good ( as it passed by me to other dinners) It does not please me to write a bad review but this was expensive and even my husband got sick later that evening. ( he had salmon)

The service and ambiance were wonderful. On Thanksgiving we were delighted to have the waiter help our vegetarian and vegan guests come up with a meal that was pleasing (restaurants like that are almost impossible to find on Thanksgiving Day! The food was delicious, too.

I'm giving it 3 stars this time. Normally it would be 4 or 5. It's a very nice restaurant, just a bit spendy, but really great food. Unfortunately, their Thanksgiving turkey didn't come out as good as it should have. It was tough and undercooked. Even the skin on the breast was white and slimy. Other entrees at our table were top-notch.

Our server, Lisa, was outstanding! I tried brussel sprouts for the first time and they were fabulous! The salmon was good but not remarkable. The apple crisp with the carmel sauce is worth travelling for!

I love this place. This time the server didn’t come around as much and the ahi sushi was horrible. Everything else was good tho. It just sucks paying for something that I didn’t eat and wasn’t going to eat. I ate two of them and it was enough to know it wasn’t the same as last time.

This is one of the nicest restaurants in Hillsboro. Excellent food and service. Great care taken with food allergies. Wednesdays are half price wine bottles which made for a great value and there was a nice selection of bottled wines to choose from. Very nice ambience and although we were a larger table, the noise level in the restaurant was minimum so we were all able to hear each other and enjoy the evening. Would definitely return and recommend!

We went as a family of 7. Made reservations. They tried to seat us a table for four right in the doorway of the dining room. Clearly wasn’t going to work for our party. Then took us in the way back to a much bigger table. Server came got us waters and appetizer. After the appetizer came it was about 25 minutes before her shadow server in training came back and we asked for our server. She went and got her and we ordered. This restaurant would’ve been perfect had the service time been better. I don’t like to be hovered over at restaurants but a little attention is needed, and the server was nice just not as attentive as she should have been with such a large party.

Got to the restaurant about 15 mins before our reservation time. The hostess was going to seat us but was stopped by another staff member who told her to wait because we were early. Not sure why we were made to wait until our reservation time before finally being seated. If I had known that, I wouldn't have made a reservation in the first place since we went in at non-peak time.

We split an order of prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. We also upgraded our vegetables from broccolini to asparagus which was very good. Our waitress was aware of out wanting to enjoy our wine before ordering dinner and enjoying a cup of coffee after dinner. Everything was perfect! We highly recommend Stanford's at Tanasbourne.
