We always have a great meal and service here. This is one of our “to go to” restaurants. Prices are very reasonable and the food is great.
Great food and service staff was very attentive. Appreciated the good choices of local fish on the menu. Variety will meet everyone's diet needs.
Had a 6:45 reservation and we arrived five minutes early. We were seated promptly but took almost 20 minutes till our drinks arrived... Waitress was pleasant and took our order promptly, we waited, and waited... and at 8:15 (1 1/2) later we still had not received our food!! We paid for our drinks and headed to McDonald’s... a wasted Saturday night, we will not be back...
We really enjoyed Stanfords, my wife's steak was very good, amazing brussel sprouts, my halibut tacos also delicious - wasn't crazy about the rice it came with though. Kids gobbled up their sliders and chicken, cheesy bread to start for them was a nice touch. Will totally come back.
Service was terrible!! We ordered salads which came and the meal arrived in the next minute. And then we did not see our waitress until she brought the check, no dessert menu nothing. Granted, we did not expect amazing from Stanford's but this was unbelievable. Thank goodness we had a gift card that had been given to us, so we didn't waste our money!
We had to wait for 15 minuets while they cleaned tables and our order was wrong and we had to wait another 15 minutes for food that took an hour to arrive after ordering but we filled the time by talking.
Sat at a table despite multiple open booths. When requested booth were told they were for people who made reservations which we had. They were still empty when we finished. Felt like staff were trying to get rid if us, offering to put out order on fast track. Tried to order a drink and was told the bartender discouraged that drink because it would fall apart. The waiter did not talk to us, just at us as he walked by and was not attentive. The food was ok,not good. Very disappointed as the Stanford's in Northgate had been wonderful. We will not return.
Always very tasty good food and service. Booths are quiet compared to many similar location I dine at.

We had a ladies get together and birthday celebration for 4. The drinks were great especially the Habanero Marguerita! Appetizer and entrees were very good. I hadn't been to Stanford's in quite a while. It was nice and quiet in our area but we weren't! LOL
I have NEVER been disappointed when I've dined here. All you can want and more. My friend ordered the True Cod fish and chips, and I ordered the Chicken Nuggets with 3 different dipping sauces. I do NOT eat French fries once they cool . . . THESE were a tremendous exception - kept eating them even cold from the refrigerator!
Our server Brandon was great, very nice and accommodating. My concern was with the SLOW kitchen time, took close to an hour to get our food. One of our party had to leave before the food arrived but they boxed up her food so she could take it with her.
The food was good and the waiter was great, but will not be anxious to return do to the long wait to get our food.
Waitress was awesome. The crowd was too loud and we had to move from one table to another just to find more noise. Need better screens to block sound. Ousters had too much breading. We removed it to find the ouster flavor. Again, service was exceptional.
I went to Stanford's after a long absence because of an advertised 2-for-1 special if we ordered off the "Special Sheet", but when we got there, we were informed that the advertising was in error and the deal was changed by the manager this week to having to order off the section of the menu that has the cheap lunch specials (like a half salad and lower cost items). So essentially, this was a bait and switch offer from Stanford's which doesn't sit well for me. The server, Lynn, was exceptional, but everything else cried out, "Going out of business...or should be!" Wait staffing was at a bare minimum level and the restaurant had very few diners compared to the 'old days' and yet, the food came to the table barely warm, delivered by the manager or the assistant manager. How long does it take to pick up food and walk 60 feet? Can't say I'll be going back after the bait and switch and poor food quality/condition.
Our recent visit to Stanford's was to welcome friends returning to the US after deployment in US Govt. Service. Only 4 of us, but it was important. Overall, everything went well with one small disappointment. We go to Stanford's for special occasions like this a few time a year - to highlight Stanford's signature ribs. Most times the ribs are excellent - juicy and very tasty. This night, the ribs were "OK" - but not as spectacular as usual - but we ate them all anyway!!! The ribs were somewhat dry and overdone to our taste. We have learned over the years to expect that dip in quality occasionally at fine restaurants when we build the high expectations to our guests.

I had an issue with my debit card being charged for the wrong amount. I called once I realized the error and the manager, Mark, could not have been nicer or quicker to rectify the problem.
All three of us enjoyed our meals. Our server was great, except we didn't see her often enough. I think she might have had too many tables. We were celebrating birthdays and wanted a nice visit, but they placed a noisy child two booths away.
We were patrons on New Years Eve and my only complaint was that the main meal took a long time to be served, but the waitress kept us informed on three occasions and the management took our appetizer off the menu.
This is always our go- to restaurant. We love the food, the staff is personable, and service is excellent. That's what you look for in a good restaurant!
Our steaks were just not good. We were disappointed.
It was the first time I had ever been to standford’s. I was there with a friend celebrating a birthday. The service was Amazing our waitress was great with keeping
I go to Stanford's because I feel like any guest I take will be able to find something on the menu that he/she likes. The food is generally good. They are also well-organized and usually efficient. We were there during holiday season and were informed by the server that there were a lot of parties there that day. Unfortunately, this meant slow service to start, then waiting over 1/2 hour for our food. But, the food was good and we all enjoyed our lunches. I think for a business meal, this is a good choice. Be careful if you have time restrictions; otherwise you can enjoy a hearty meal.

Went for Sunday late night dinner after attending the Seattle Nutcracker Ballet. We were celebrating our 10th Anniversary and the experience was wonderful. They even provided a special "Anniversary" free desert. The wine and food were incredible. They staff was wonderful. We will definitely be going back.

Neither I nor my date were impressed. Calimari greasy. Food OK, but not really differential from, say, Applebee's. Given that we spent $100 including tip and no drinks, don't think it was good value for money. Better places in that price range within a mile.
Always a special treat to dine here, even without a special occasion. The waitstaff is always attentive, without being obtrusive. Menu has many standard features plus always a great "fresh" sheet. Great cocktails, including their own creations. Well-priced and always good. The hosts and hostesses are always professional and make one feel welcome.
I was extremely disappointed with my visit on Sunday. After ordering it took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. And, the fries I got with my meal were stone cold. I had the French dip and it had not flavor whatsoever. Additionally the friend I was with her we had to ask to get her coffee refill. Our server Lindsey was not attentive to our needs and took over 20 minutes to get our closing check. I'm going to think twice about returning to Standfords again!!
We used to eat at Stanfords in Portland and really liked it. This Stanfords was quite large and they did not have enough wait staff. It took 45 minutes to get soup and salad and over an hour for entrees which were simple, tacos and a Caesar salad with ahi. Food was not very fresh, soup was very salty and pretty gross. Never could get a second drink. I would not recommend it to anyone.
I know that Standfords have a nice children's menu, so thought it would be a great experience for my 2 grandchildren to dine there for a special "Grandma lunch". The server was attentive until our order was placed - we received our meals, the food was very good -- however the extras that come with the kids menu never arrived at our table. Our server did not check on us or ask if we needed anything -- she did arrive to present the check - at that point we had to ask for drink refills and about the ice cream that came with the kids lunches (never saw the bread or fruit that was to be included). It looked like the restaurant was short staffed - our server had MANY tables to take care of! I will give Stanfords 1 more chance -- hoping that they can be more attentive.

We had a late reservation on a Friday night. The service was a little slow, but I think that is just because of the late hour. The food was excellent (we had prime rib, the artichoke dip, and the seared ahi appetizer). Excellent portions, and very reasonably priced.
Mediocre at best. Food was edible. Service was good.

They seemed to be understaffed. We waited 30 minutes for our food after we placed our order. Do they put people with Open Table reservations at terrible tables purposely? We were seated right outside the entrance to the kitchen, so we listened to back of house noise and yelling the entire time. The restaurant was mostly empty, so there was no excuse for the slow service or the crappy table. This was possibly the worst dining experience we have had at this location. We were getting ready to just leave money for our drinks and walk out after 30 minutes. Not sure we will return.
