I took my friend out for her birthday dinner and there’s no where better than Stanford’s. Great fresh awesome halibut dinner and New York cheese cake! Yummy!
The food was superior and wait staff excellent!
Great spot to eat, both inside and outside
Slow service. Prime rib was not very tasty.
Outstanding smoked salmon chowder. Could have kept eating it all night! Very good Manhattan on the rocks. Had the prime rib beef dip - yummy.
Beautiful Restaurant. Food was great, portions smaller, prices higher, sign of the times in Seattle
Very nice restuarant, clean and able to have conversations without being drowned out by other noise. Meal prices were reasonable and food was good.
Taking reservations for a day that was closed. We drove over for nothing
Despite my reservation, the entire place was closed when I arrived.
This place has THE BEST cheesy bread on the planet! We highly recommend ordering it! We only gave 4 stars for the food because the steak was just ok- it could have used more seasoning. Overall a great place to get a meal.
The food was great, as were the cocktails. The restaurant was very accommodating for our child, with a good kids’ menu. Our waitress, Nicole, was very attentive to our needs, making sure that our child got a nice cold drink and doing a very good job on recommendations on cocktails. A very good and unique feature on this restaurant is the cocktails to go for 2. Definitely worth trying!
The open face crab and artichoke sandwich had problems: too tough to cut readily with a steak knife; crab tasted very fishy. Overall disappointing compared to the past.
Amazing food and services- reasonably priced! We will definitely return
great salad, great service. Not fancy but nice surroundings
Had an enjoyable meal with friends, good service, good food and felt very safe.
I wish I had gotten our server's name because he was exceptional. We were there to catch up on an old friendship and our server did not ever rush us or make us feel like we were overstaying our welcome. Also the food was very good. Stanford's is a great place to meet for me because I live in Bothell and many friends live downtown.
We were in Seattle for a medical procedure and very tired. Our server was SO patient and helpful! She checked on us often. As a couple in our seventies, we really appreciated her attention. The food was delicious, hot, and nicely presented. We’ll come back!
Great food. A little noisy outside. Service was also very good.
This popular eatery had long lines waiting to be seated at weekday lunchtime, but fortunately we had a reservation and were seated promptly. Distancing measures made the restaurant feel very safe. The food was excellent, exactly what we ordered. The server was extremely busy but still was able to connect with us.
Michael was awesome and treated us like family!
Our waitress Nicole was awesome!! She is the best and we look forward to coming back here because of her!
Celebrating my husband's birthday and all he wanted was prime rib. It was perfect! My salmon was cooked to perfection as well.
The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious; the chicken tenders were really good and the scallop special was good as well. Scallops were small but tasted great. Service was outstanding.
It was a great way to spend Mother’s Day plus they provided free Cheesecake to the mothers.
The food was great & service prompt (even on Mother's Day)! The tables felt private & well distanced - very safe. Hoping they go back to a full menu once COVID restrictions are lifted!
Everyone was great!! The food was really good too!!
We do wish that a brunch (with breakfast items) was available since we were there at 1pm on Easter.
That was rather disappointing to us.
Thank you for a pleasant experience!
Somewhat more limited menu at the current time, but still many of the reliable comfort food item -- especially that mac and cheese. All created with a little more imagination than the usual versions and prepared with care. Excellent large bowl of basil tomato soup with a good BLT; a quite nice southwest salad. And, already mentioned, a creamy mac and cheese, tastier than other places can manage to do.
Always consistently good and service is excellent.
It was very nice
Our server was the bet. Very kind and attentive. We wanted to have our birthday celebration at Sanford’s before the restaurant had to close because of Covid.
Amazing service and food.
This is a great place to eat. They follow the safety Covid rules. The atmosphere is casual and inviting. The service is friendly and good.
Nice to have a place to eat out that's eat in with safety in mind.
The help were very attentive, and the food was on the table within minutes after ordering. Considering the pandemic restrictions, I think Stanfords did a great job.
Always enjoy eating at Sanfords.
Portion size very small, but food quality was excellent. I had the salmon dinner. Very good but did not like the fact they used an ice cream scoop approach on the mashed potatoes.
Stanford’s does a good job of social distancing and limited touching, from having foot-operated door opening devices on the restrooms to plenty of no-use tables in the dining room. Its menu is pretty limited right now, and not great for non-meat eaters, so if that’s a concern, you might want to take a look at it before you go. The food was pretty good - good artichoke dip, good fries, prime rib dip a little on the dry side (before dipping). Overall, a solid “fine.”
To honor social distancing, we sat outside. Since it is located adjacent to a very busy street along side a shopping center, the traffic noise is quite loud.
We celebrated our anniversary there. We had the Top Sirloin steak which was delicious!
