Great place. Second time there. Quick seating (it's quite large) great service. BLT was large, great! Fries medium size, slightly crispy, perfect. Pricing on menu went from medium low (16-18) to higher (30-40) Seemed reasonably priced for our current economy. 😬 Recommended!

My food was very undercooked and when it was corrected it was over cooked by a lot. Dry hard steak. My wife finished her meal before I got mine as the kitchen/service was so slow. Drinks also took forever and several times to ask. Overall it was very bad

We went to Stanford’s Northgate based on a Valentine’s Day ‘experience’ shown on Open Table for a prix fixe of $125. Unfortunately, the Valentine’s Day menu offered at the restaurant did not match the Open Table offering and was significantly higher. Despite the setback & because of the occasion, we chose to stay. We ordered crab cakes to start and the were served with a mild, tangy sauce which complimented the preparation, our filet mogóns were well-seasoned but inadequately cooked which the kitchen quickly corrected. The accompanying brussel sprouts were charred past past blackened and very dry but the baked potato was well-cooked, fluffy and light. Drinks were spot on, service was good and the dessert went home with us, a luscious chocolate cake with raspberry and chocolate topping which turned out yo be claggy and underbaked.

Tiffany, our server, was outstanding! She was courteous, helpful, professional, and made us feel valued. The food was very good - but a bit too expensive (and that is the reason it was 4 stars instead of 5). I would have allowed 4.5 stars but that was not an option. If price is not a significant factor, it was truly a great experience.

This was my 2nd time trying this place. It will be my last. The first time I thought might have just been an off night. Nope that’s not the case. We were seated right away so I brought over a couple of waters. Just dumped them on the table didn’t say anything and I walked away. We sat for about 15 minutes before anybody else acknowledged us. Then we were asked if we wanted drinks I said no we’re ready to order, we ordered the exact same item except one had two starches and the other one had asparagus. About 15 minutes maybe even 20 our waitress comes over and says we’re at a baked potatoes. I said OK give me mashed. She walked away 10 minutes later, she came back and said that they were out of mashed, or you can have a steak without some kind of potato not me. We tried to find somewhere else to go, but because we waited to come to Stanford, we missed out on opportunities at other restaurants. We were getting ready to find something else on the menu when the waitress came back over and said that they had potatoes again. We waited for our food. We were an hour plus in at this point. We ordered desert at the time of food so if they ran out we would have some. Our food came out. Our dessert should’ve followed shortly. My steak was OK a little under done but it was edible. My sons steak on the other hand was completely dead. Both steaks were ordered medium. We slide down the waitress sent the steak back because it was an edible. We waited and waited and waited for the refire, dessert never came. Our waitress never came. I had to flag down another gentleman to tell him to forget about the refire we were leaving so we spent close to two hours in the restaurant. My son did not get his steak and the restaurant was almost as bad as it was the first time I went, needless to say, I will not be returning

We had a lot of catching up to do with some old friends/neig,bors, and spent 2 hours doing it. As a result, we were slow to order and slow to leave, but were never rushed by our server. We appreciate his professionalism and patience. Also, the food was good and, despite being a full house, it was quiet enough for us to have a nice conversation. The menu was a bit more limited that I would have expected, but we did not have a problem finding dinners that looked (and were) good.

Recently we have been disappointed in the quality of the offerings at Stanford's. My friend's fish and chips was not up to par, and cost her $25. I noticed that the salads are getting smaller with less chicken or protein in them. However, my salmon chowder was excellent and BLT adequate. It seems that the staffing has also been reduced. Stanfords always had excellent servers who were very attentive, however lately, the servers are covering more tables, therefore the service is slower. I should add that we did have an outstanding experience when ordered take-out for our Thanksgiving meal. There was a mix-up in the quantity of the order, but the manager was able to correct things, and remove the charge for the extra meals that we did not order. And the dinner was delicious!

The restaurant was very busy with several large groups, so the wait staff was working hard, but i ordered a whole BLT - with a side of soup (made sure i said i wanted the entire sandwich, not the half sandwich/ soup combo. Got just half a sandwich. It and the soup were very good though.

This place used to have excellent food. Now it's just so-so. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything memorable either. My brother ordered the prime rib dip for $22 and it was a few slices of beef on a bun with a side of horseradish. Nothing special about it all. I had a southwest salad that came with a pesto dressing - which I think is odd because I don't think of pesto when I think southwest. It was good. I can say it was just the right amount of food to be full. The restaurant was very cold. I left my winter coat on and was still freezing. I noticed everyone (and there weren't many people in there) had coats on except the staff. In addition, our waitress was not very attentive. She dropped off our food and didn't come back until we were done. She then left again and didn't return until another server cleared our table and told her we were ready to pay. She ran my card and never returned. We sat there for at least 30 minutes without her asking if needed, or wanted, anything else. In my opinion, if you're going to pay $22 for French dip you should go somewhere else.

We ordered a side baked potato is was delivered absolutely Cold. We ordered prime dip sandwiches had minimum meat mostly fatty scraps. May not go back 2nd time around now. South center closed permanently. North gate is looking like the same fate is coming if they don’t get quality to the customers will go elsewhere. Our bill for two dips and soda was $65.00. Lousy for what you get.

Been to Stanford’s many times for lunch. Have always had really good service and food was quite good. But this time non existent service ,took almost an hour to get dinner served, and dinner was just ok. Not up to their usual standard. Very disappointed.

My husband and I always get the BBQ ribs. The crab cakes and the glazed Brussels sprouts are very flavorful appetizers. Our guests were very happy with their steaks. Enjoyed eating outdoors on the patio during the warm weather. The interior is nice but not too special.
