Good food and excellent service.
Our server was great! Recommended a dish that I wouldn’t have ordered otherwise and it was excellent. Appreciate the input and transparency. We’re regulars at this location and will continue to be so. Great place and awesome staff.
We had a great table and a great server, but the food was mediocre and over-priced. Except for the Key Lime Pie, that was pretty-darned good.
We usually enjoy coming here, we come by almost monthly. But yesterday we were seated all the way in the back this time, the one waitress we seen did not even acknowledge our presence. And she was helping table next to us when we arrived. Another group was sat after us, and they were acknowledged and served, about 30 minutes after we arrived, no waiter, no water, nothing, my husband walked to the front and asked how much extra is would cost us to get a waiter … and some water.. snarky I know, but honestly it just felt like we were ignored on purpose. Even if the waitress who was serving everyone around us was not our waitress, she knew we were there, and she should have gotten our server, and not just ignored us because we were not her table. Good restaurants have staff that work together to make sure everyone is taken care of. When someone finally came over they apologized and let us know she was not aware we were seated. (Again this is a sign of no teamwork) we ordered, we ate, the food was great….but the service…. Non existent…
We love this restaurant! Excellent food! Great service! The stuffed chicken is out of this world!! We go there at least twice a month.
Awesome place to eat!
Always enjoy Stafford's. Great food, Great service and always consistent.
The food was now even warm and the waitress was a little surly. Not what we usually had experienced.
Reservation at 630, arrived on time and waited and waited and waited and waited...unacceptable wait for a reservation. Go somewhere else.....
Busy evening, not enough help but they did an amazing job of handling large parties and it was worth the wait for the food!! Had the scallops-delicious, cooked perfectly, vegetables were yummy - would go again and wait if it meant great food! Waiter was attentive and professional 👍
Reservations 6pm, seated immediately. Nice booth for four. All staff very pleasant and friendly. Waitress Abby attentive, friendly and knowledgeable . Menu quite limited compared to pre Covid. Scallops, Prime rib, Halibut were our selections and all good with Scallops being excellent. The entrees were served without delay.
Time from ordering wine to receiving it was extensive as was with ordering coffee and refills. Dessert took so long to be served when it was finally presented we asked to box it for home. In spite of these hiccups we all enjoyed our dinners and had very pleasant evening.
We felt these delays were not fault of waitress. We will certainly return as Stanfords has been a favorite for years . Hopefully menu will be revamped and extended and presentation of items requested will be more timely.
Very well prepared, great presentation, maybe a little more quantity on the sides would be better.
Exceptional all the way around. It was a lovely LONG lunch--the first time I'd gotten together with an old friend for over a month--and not only did Patricia not rush us, she was tremendously gracious AND worked with the chef to get us precisely what we wanted even though it wasn't technically on the menu. The bacon mac and cheese is amazing so if it's slow and the chef can do it for you I most highly recommend it. Thank you Patricia (and the gentlemen who was working with her) for helping make our day GREAT!
The service was excellent, the waiter was very personable, polite and responsive as was the rest of the staff. Food was great, cooked to my request and served in an appealing presentation.
Excellent food and excellent service! We will come back often
Nice meal. Server was very good except she didn’t offer water refill. Salmon was very good. Fish & Chips were too salty and batter too thick and gummy. Great fries though!
They need to improve the décor and replace the carpet. The smell is of an old restaurant not necessarily clean.
We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the service was great. It was a nice and quiet evening and we are definitely going back.
Slow service. Dingy furnishings. Dated. Had the look and feel of a failing business.
Our server wouldn't stop talking to us, telling us his life story and the various places he lived. It was really annoying... we were there to visit with out-of-town family over dinner, and instead we ended up having to listen to our waiter go on and on.
Easy access on and off the freeway. Very pleasant and the food was great.
The food was excellent, but service from the kitchen was slow the result of having only two cooks we were told.
Everything was EXCELLENT, especially the service! Food was fantastic and I had 2 picky kids who ate every bite of their order. Our server was friendly and attentive and went the extra mile to make our dining experience perfect!
We hadn't been to Stanford's in several years. We weren't disappointed; excellent food and personnel. Will definitely return.
Impressed by the quality of food served as well as the service. Outstanding!!
Food was delicious! Server was super busy and seemed like she had too many tables, but probably hard to staff with current restrictions, so understandable.
Good for a quick bite, quiet, sports are on, delicious food!!!!
Please, stay the course. Keep doing your best to stay open, despite the social distancing, lower dining area seats, and the reduction in menu offerings.
We can only make it to Stanford's twice a year or so, but it's a fine restaurant and the dining is always a step up in quality and class.
Hopefully, you all can get back to work full-time, soon.
Service was awkward. Just a weird guy. Food was good.
Great service, I feel like the food was good, but not amazing.
Wonderful friendly staff. The food was amazing! Will be going again.
We celebrated our anniversary. The food was great as well as the service.
I was disappointed when I got there ..I thought I was going Stanfords not the original Stanfords...there is a difference I had no idea that they were different..the menu is different and not a lot of food options...they have more alcoholic beverages then food...
Always great food and service that we've enjoyed for the last 30+ years.
Always have a good experience. Sitting outside is really lovey on a warm day. Been going there for years. Very glad it has survived Covid and hope it will continue to do so.
We had a great time and stayed until closing. The food was wonderful and the guest staff was very responsive even when we asked to be moved from outside to inside. The manager came and helped us move.
We would recommend Stanford’s to all.
Stanford's has a very limited menu at this time which was disappointing. I had the minestrone soup which consisted of 40 percent black beans, 40 percent elbow macaroni 1 percent meat and 19 percent broth. It was tasteless and devoid of vegetables. My partner had the Caesar salad which was satisfactory except that it was overdressed.
Elegant, quiet. Food good and excellent service. A tad pricey for the selections in my opinion, but executed well.
Very limited menu for lunch on a Sunday. Brunch was still available so we ordered the eggs Benedict. Very dissapointed. $20 for a sad looking dish. Small portion and it looked homemade...no wait, it would've been better if it was homemade. If you're going to charge high prices for basic meals, then they should be made to meet the cost. At best this dish should of been priced at $10 if that.
The food was outstanding! I especially enjoyed the key lime pie.
