I think Staffords is wonderful restaurant. The food is good, wonderful drink list and the desserts are heavenly. Staffords is clean, friendly faces and awesome services.
We went for Mother's Day brunch and while I normally love Stanford's food I thought the brunch was lacking in taste and interest for their special menu.
The food was great. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere was very inviting. I would recommend Stanford’s to anyone looking for a nice place to dine.
The food and service were really great. The only strange thing at a restaurant in this price range is that the server did not seem to know how to pour wine correctly.

We enjoyed our dinner at Stanford's. They graciously divided our entree so we could share a meal. The server was very good at accommodating me with my diet restrictions. He checked in us and brought us individual dressings. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Delicious!
Brunch after Easter church service. Wife had the eggs Benedict, Grand-Daughter had the veggie frittata, and I had the prime rib French dip sandwich. All were excellent!

As always, the online reservation process was a breeze. The staff provided their usual friendly and efficient service. The food was plentiful and prepared excellently. We have been to the Kruze Way Stanford's for dinner numerous times, and will definitely return, as it is our go-to choice.

I like going there for Wine Down Wednesdays (1/2 price bottles). I can't wait until summer when we can enjoy a bottle of prosecco or other chilled white wine outside on the patio with some crab cakes and a ceasar salad! Though if I remember, parking during summer happy hours can be a bit hard to find.
My experience at this location has been good/ mostly friendly service, great order accuracy, and the bar, restaurant, bathrooms, & parking areas always seem clean. They have very tasty food options to choose from (although the McGraths restaurants seem to have far greater variety and a little lower prices both on happy hour menu and full dinner/ lunch menus).
The RU Rewards program/ phone app is easy to use & a really great incentive for return visits, and a few times per year they might run a few extra deals, like food discounts or "triple points" for purchases. All you have to do is give your server a 3 digit code from your phone or write it down on your initial bill and you're credited points without hassle, that you can accrue towards a dining gift card later. (And they have WiFi if you don't have a data plan on your phone.)
The good: made from scratch slogan is a winner. I hate to think of how many restaurant meals come right out of a plastic bag, into the microwave, and onto a plate.
The bad: uneven menu. My wife was happy with her pork chop but the gravy was highly spicy, as in cayenne. I ordered “braised short ribs” and what I got was just good old pot roast—not bad as far as pot roast goes, but I can do better at home.
This review might be based on my poor choice of entree. The service was fine, the soup was delicious, but the BLT was not. The bacon was generous, only a token slice of tomato, but a huge slab of lettuce, making it difficult to eat as a sandwich. Our accommodations were quite nice (booth) but our neighbors were loud, making conversation a little difficult.
Four of us had a pleasant evening. The hostess seated us in a back corner which was quiet on a Monday evening and perfect for conversation. Two folks had a salad with protein added. The Caesar was described as unremarkable. I had the honey-glazed salmon special and it was good, ample portion and great vegetable sides of garlic mashed potatoes and crispy brussel sprouts. The 4th person had the rib eye and was quite happy with that, including the substitution of asparagus for the potatoes. Drinks were so-so, the martinis weren't cold enough and the special ginger pear cocktail was too sweet even after requesting "not too sweet". However, the wine suggestion for my salmon special was very nice. Stanford's does a decent job, but is not too inventive. Cocktails need improvement. And, the waitress kept forgetting things even though the place didn't seem too busy, But all in all, it was a pleasant evening with friends.

The serving sizes are far too large. I would like to see them offer a smaller portion for senior meals and reduce the cost for the meal. I get so tired of eating leftovers at home after dining out.
It was a dark and snowy evening. A sudden heavy unexpected snow fall made deep slush in the parking lot when we arrived. We were welcomed by a cheerful front door person, and shown to our booth. The food and wine were very prompt and quite good. Compared to previous visits, the snow might be credited with the uncrowded conditions and the very prompt service. The food is always top notch. I was expecting for the price that the food would have been outstanding but it wasn't. It was like going to any other restaurant except more expensive. We wont be going back.
The food was delicious and our specific waitress was very friendly. However, the service was slow for a night that had a lot of empty tables. We couldn't order the tacos because they were too spicy, and told no adjustment could be made. The wine, food, bread, and coffee was slow coming. The bathroom was a disaster; someone had gotten sick in there and it was everywhere.
So because the food was so good and I will return 1 more time and hope for better.

The atmosphere here is amazing! The hostess checked in with each group in the lobby to verify waiting times. Right from the get-go, our server Karen was friendly and gave us plenty of time to think our order over, checking in with us when she could. The 3-course meal we decided on was timed just right and we didn’t feel rushed at any part of the process. The prices are agreeable, the space is cozy yet spacious, and the food is amazing! I highly recommend Stanford’s.

The food was good, but the service was bad. We weren’t happy with our waiter. We are hoping it was because it was Valentines Day. Not worth spending the money if you don’t have decent service. We will give it another try and hope the service is better. The atmosphere was great!

The restaurant was quite busy as it was Valentine's Day. Even though we had reservations, there was about a 15 minute wait for a table. We noticed that there was a table available in the bar so we notified the lady at the front that we were going to move to the bar. Even though it was very busy, the waiter came to our table, took our drink requests and returned with them in a timely manner. After we placed our order, we were pleasantly surprised that the Ahi salads were delivered to our table so quickly by the manager, no less. We had a very pleasant conversation with him. The salads were excellent.
The only disappointment was that as I have over 2600 points, I was informed that I could not use them as I must go online to do that. I was not aware of that so I will try to figure out how to do so.

warning: If you reserve a table via OpenTable, don't expect the table to be ready by then. For whatever reason, doesn't seem like they honor reservation times at this restaurant. Ended up waiting in the lobby for an additional 15 minutes before the "reserved" table was ready.

Valentines dinner! Made reservations, however, they were very busy and waited about 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Lobby was very chaotic, once seated everything was great!

They have the best steaks. I ordered the filet mignon. It was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Their roasted brussel sprouts with bacon were delish too.
We had a reservation, well ahead of Valentine's Day, and were there on time. We (four of us) selected the Valentine's Day special dinner, which began to arrive in (sort of) a timely way (soups, champagne - calamari took a l-o-o-ng time to get to the table).
Then the wait began for the entree.
The entrees arrived, cold, approximately 1h 20min after we had sat down, and this wasn't due to our not ordering in a timely way. We had asked a few times where the entrees were, as we had finished our appetizers and champagne after a half hour or so, and were told that they were coming soon. When they arrived the salmon and potatoes and other items were cold; the waitress picked them up to fix that, but when they returned the meat was still cold, the parsnips were cold and mushy, but the potatoes were warm. Being quite upset by all this, I asked the waitress' manager to give us a bill for the drinks and appetizers, and told her we were leaving without seating our entrees. She said she'd already paid for our dinners and that she was quite sorry.
What rankled was that people at neighboring tables were being served on time, apparently enjoying their dinners, and leaving - several of these parties had arrived after we had been seated. The coup de grace for our visit was having a table set up for at least 16 people immediately next to us, which, as we prepared to depart, appeared to potentially be loud and disruptive.
We've been to Stanford's a number of times, both in L.O. and Tanasbourne. This was a surprising disappointment for us all. The only assumption we can make is that the L.O. management was completely unprepared in some critical way for the influx of people on Valentine's Day. That day. after all, is an opportunity for the restaurant to catch and hold new customers, rather than repel their regulars.
Incidentally, after we left Stanford's we went a short distance to Gubanc's. Seated in <5 minutes, very good food and service. C'est la vie.

Our waiter really made our dining experience extremely present. We think his name was Daniel.
To start at the beginning, we arrived early for our Valentine's dinner. The hostess showed us to our table and came back with the special Valentine's menu which did not start for another 10 minutes. She said it would be no problem for us to order from the special menu which we greatly appreciated.
Because of serious food allergies, I needed assistance in determining which items on the menu would be safe for me to eat. Daniel took time reviewing each item with me. He also said he would note on the order that cross contamination was also a concern. I know he must have done so because my entree arrived with a different vegetable. He explained that the vegetable listed on the menu would have been cross contaminated by the fryer so the kitchen had provided a safe alternative which was perfect. He also offered to replace the listed dessert which I could not eat with a safe alternative.
Dining out with food allergies can be challenging. Daniel made it much easier. And I am happy to report that Stanford's has done a lot of the last couple of years to accommodate food allergies.

The ahi salad was outstanding
It's pleasant enough, but the food quality and flavor was not outstanding or anything to recommend it. Our fish was dry (halibut). The Brussel sprouts had little flavor. the mashed potatoes were good and the onion rings were delicious, though!
Service was great and very accommodating for us. Our food was brought out very timely and just the way we asked it to be when we ordered.

The rice that came with the chicken taco was very good but the taco itself lacked flavor. Try add more acid and fresh herbs to enhance the flavor. Also, the taco shells were a bit too gritty for me. Parking was difficult to find during lunch.
Husband and I decided to go last minute for my birthday and I’m so glad we did. The food was fantastic, the wait staff was great, and the drinks were yummy! I would recommend 100 times over!
I used to come here on a more regular basis, it just seems like it has gone down hill. Still good food, just poor service. I wont be going back
