The food was great and the drinks were fantastic! The raspberry lemon drops and greyhounds were mixed perfectly. Ended up ordering 3.5 rounds of them!
Also didn’t realize they closed so early (8pm at the time, I think). Ended up staying an hour after closing and had no idea. There was no pressure to move along which was kind but also we did not mean to stay so late!
We had a very nice dinner at Stanford's in Lake Oswego. Our waiter was just great and we
will be going to Stanford's as regular customers from now on.
Thank you so much for being open again. Our food was wonderful (that steak chili is world class!) and the service was excellent. We're looking forward to being back soon.
Wonderful experience after being quarantined for almost two months. Food was great. Service excellent. Staff took amazing precautions. Will be back.
We are seated quickly and approached by our server. We asked for water and then placed our orders. Food came quickly and was hot and tasty. Very delightful dining experience.
The fajita was awful. It comes in a salty gravy! Side dish rice and beans are cold! Not a good experience!
Lovely private booth that allowed good conversation. I had the crab and artichoke sandwich which was delicious and half of it was quite filling. The side of coleslaw was colorful and crunchy (nice texture). We also had a club chicken sandwich with fries and those were quite good as well. I had the lunch paired wine which was very reasonably priced and quite good.
The service was very attentive.
We were celebrating a birthday and the chocolate cheesecake was quite good. I would have liked a candle for my daughter but it didn't change the flavor or taste.
Only 3 stars because our server was amazing, but the usually good food was just not up to standard. I've been going to Stanford's for 30 years and have never been as disappointed in the food. And not cheap either. Crab cakes were awful.
Every time I’ve been here I have been super happy with the food.
The noise level is perfect for conversation.
They only had their specials menu that included mostly red meat and a one item with seafood. No good enough vegetarian/white meat options at all. The restaurant don't even post a note on their website that only special menu is available and what it is. I highly recommend not going there for any special occasion. We ended up going to Oswego Grill - across the street from restaurant - where they served regular as well as special menu. I love Oswego Grill and hate Stanford's now - thanks Stanford's for memorable valentine's day!
Was not started it would be a limited menu and even with that the limited menu had errors
This is the second time that my food has been cold. Eating cold mash potatoes and beef is not good. Please have them correct this as I love this place.
Fantastic service especially for a holiday night. Our waitress was so attentive, we were in and out in less than an hour. Delicious cocktail recommended by the waitress (lavender cosmo?), and the wine was delicious too. Only wish they had some vegan options.
Service was excellent and the food was great. I was disappointed in the menu because it was nothing like I had researched. I was expecting all the choices I saw online but, we were quite limited on what we could order. My decision to dine there was based on that and to be surprised as I was left me disappointed. This could very well change my mind about future dining choices.
I am sure the food would have tasted better if we weren’t hit with a wall of smoke from the waiter.
Good food and service. Not rushed.
Hair in the burger, yuck! Pretty expensive but everything else was great!
Prime Rib was dry. Green beans undercooked. Service, however was very good.
stanford's is a solid middle class restaurant. good food and reasonable prices.
Eaten there many times. This time was the worst of all. Baked potato was cold. Cod fish was very soft, lacked texture. Other times were much better.
We celebrate every Holiday and Birthday at Stanford's. We are happy there with the food and service.
Cuban sandwich on the daily special sheet was flavorful and packed with pork.
We had not been to Stanford's for a while. Got drinks and meal beginnings....but dinner was slow.... at least 20 minutes!!! Food was OK....
Unfriendly, inadequate service.Very loud, no ambience, steaks were tough and overcooked. My daughter ordered the grilled salmon dinner and was served a 3 oz piece of salmon with a side of rice. The Stanford’s at Jantzen Beach is much better!
Crab & Avocado rolls were great!
From entering to leaving there was good value for the money. Our server, Nathan, brought me the answer to a question I had asked about the delicious sauce on the fish.
The waiter was so accommodating, the fish tacos had fish grilled instead of battered & fried and sauce made it dairy free!! Win win!
Always a consistent performance...perfect for a business lunch...especially when you make a reservation to keep yourself on schedule
Our food came quickly and was delicious. Great lunch..
Brunch selections were good and the food was served hot and as ordered, as usual.
15 or 20 years ago we thought Stanfords was a little special. We haven't been there for a long time so we thought we would try it again. Times have changed, or we have. Disappoiniting. The portions were small, preparation was ordinary, the true value was well below the menu price.
We had a great New Year's Eve dinner. We were seated at the time of our reservation, service was great, as was the food. Guests were "cheerful", since it was New Year's Eve!
New Years dinner with my wife. Food was excellent and service was amazing.
great service, food very good came out quickly and server was very good
Rude Hostess. We had reservations (obviously on Open Table). She made us wait and took other parties without reservations before us. I also had to tell her to be sure to confirm my Open Table reservation. No personality.
Nice people, good food. Kind of expensive.
Excellent food and most of all, Excellent Service!!! Thank you!
Great venue for casual dining. We enjoyed the holiday menu.
For $32, i expected a better meal. Rib eye very thin, less than ½” thick. Sides boring, no flavor, needed extra butter to try to improve.. Clearly not prepared for Christmas Eve. Very disappointed.
It was Christmas Eve. They were crazy busy with a limited menu. It took 45 minutes to get our food and my fish must have sat under a heat lamp for 30 of that 45. It’s just not a good night to go out to dinner. Our waiter was really nice.
