Always amazing to dine at Stanford's. The entire organization seems happy and joyful when we are seated.
Special thanks to Mia for helping us understand the seating in the bar whilst she awaits more staff. Good ol' Matt is the charming loving guy we have come to appreciate over the years!
Service was very good and the food hot and tasty. Greeters at the door were most helpful. A most enjoyable experience overall.
Stanford’s is our go to spot every Wednesday.
The staff and service are great. Still wading thru the new menu selections.
Everything was great as usual, except the chicken on my salad was on the dry side.
This is our 'to go' place. We know the wait staff, they know us.
All new menu and prices! I was shocked to see the steak cost so high, when asked what changed, answer was, "Quality is better'. The cost for the best cut of meat, prime rib, was over $100.00, that shocked me.
The market catch of the day was amazing, and the service and wine were fantastic, and to be able to go into a place to eat without a mask...AWESOME!
All was great
One of us ordered the fish of the day sis. It did say market price. When the bill came we were amazed a piece of salmon with asparagus was a whopping $53.00
We were stunned. Diners should be told the prices of things without having to ask. My dad had a filet that was way less. Not understanding why it was so much as it was good but “nothing that special” very disappointed in this . Felt I was ripped off and I often spend a lot for a meal but it is usually in Portland and unique dining experience.
Great food. Excellent service!
The new menu is awesome.
Meal was delicious, had the halibut, hubby had 1/2 rack of ribs. Disappointed that they don't currently have happy hour, also that they don't "do" baked potatoes (?). Cheese bread wasn't good, very expensive, and to call it iconic was misleading, because Stanford's changed the recipe. My husband liked it, but it wasn't good enough to take home, and had the waiter asked how it was, I would have said not good. Love the atmosphere, prices are expensive, albeit my lemon drop was reasonably priced at $10.50, the Coke was not $3.75...may go back when happy hour opens up again, but may be why it's easier to get a reservation there than other restaurants.
The food was excellent and they have added high end cit meats and many new dishes. We couldn’t have had a better meal!!!
It’s always great here. Made a reservation. No waiting. Great service and a new menu too!
Food and service were both excellent. Very enjoyable dining experience.
Fish & chips were excellent! Service was great too
Slow service... waitress was very nice. I was told that the kitchen lost our order. The restaurant didn’t appear to be very busy. Seemed understaffed
Server was pleasant did well. Good ok, nothing special.
Food was cold and the service was fine. Nothing to rave about for an Easter Dinner. Too bad because it wasn’t busy so there isn’t an excuse
Excellent service today. We sat in the bar area. Salad was fresh and had good fresh veggies on it and had a nice presentation. The salmon chowder was warm, creamy and savory. My companion had the open faced artichoke crab sandwich with onion rings and she enjoyed her meal. Food was on the table within 15 minutes of our arrival. Warm courteous staff every step of the way. Will definitely be going back again.
Stanford's consistently provides delicious food. The prime rib was delicious! I was disappointed with my mojito. I had lots of ice and not a lot of liquor. The second mojito, I order with very little ice was much better. Stanford's is a great neighborhood eatery.
Provided perfect setting for a few drinks and dinner.
Excellent service, amazing food, and as always a great atmosphere. Hughly recommend.
Excellent customer service. The blonde lady who served my father and I was excellent and outgoing and I appreciated her. Ambience is great. The salmon chowder was terrible. Far too rich and thick, like drinking liquid butter with crab in it, but that was my only complaint.
A little expensive, but a nice dinner out for a couple
Well designed place for meeting, can have some privacy and enjoy very good food and service.
Everything was perfect. Thank you so much. And they even acknowledged our anniversary, thank you!
Service and the server were very good!!
Easy reservation process. Friendly and efficient server. Delicious food.
Terrific food and service!
Excellent time and great server. First time out since pandemic and it was well worth it!
Good food and service. Glad we had a reservation as the wait was at least 30-45 minutes. The bar staff were great.
Food was hot and delicious.
Stanford's is doing a great job with the social distancing. I had not been in a restaurant for months so I was skeptical. Service was outstanding, food was cooked to order. Nice work, also I got right in at my reservation time.
The limited menu was an unwelcome surprise. They could have more selections than they do. However, my filet mignon was cooked perfectly.
Wonderful, fast service. Very friendly staff. Overall great place to dine.
Stanford's always does a great job, but with COVID precautions, they are exceptional. My husband and I always enjoy salmon on any of their salads, cooked to perfection, and the scratch recipe soups are outstanding.
Love it here, always great food and service!
Recommend it highly!
Outdoor dining available and they will take reservations. Excellent service. and food.
