Steam Plant Kitchen & Brewery
Our waitress was incredibly nice and helpful. The food was incredible and had fantastic gluten free options. The drinks were unique. Definitely going back to try more!
Birthday - service was excellent- Andrew?
Pizza with honey drizzle? Yum!
We had the most amazing dinner. We were treated warmly upon arrival and unique facts about the location were pointed out. Our table was ready and our server was amazing! The food was fresh and incredible! Can’t wait to return! Order the shrimp pasta, you won’t be disappointed.
the happy birthday song was top notch from the staff, thank you for the special request!
We went as an early bird and was fantastic. Food was great and environment was fun. Restaurant was quiet as we got there when they opened but very nice place.
15-20 minutes waiting for initial round of drinks (beer) while watching our server eat behind the glass in the service area. Order was not properly prepared as ordered. A lot of sweeping around us while eating was uncomfortable. Not a good experience. 2nd time in 2 weeks eating dinner there for a family of 4. Most likely won’t be back. We work with South Hill Living Magazine and perform reviews on local restaurants.
Was seated promptly. Server, Trey (sp?), was helpful, fun, and enjoyable. The drinks were delightful, my pasta primavera was scrumptious. The only "complaints" would be that the chicken was a little dry, 8:30 sat. 02/29, and we had to wait a bit before being served after we were seated.
Thank you for the birthday surprise drink and for adding to my "7th birthday"
Great atmosphere, great service, great menu!
We went for restaurant week and we all loved our meals. Over all the place was amazing, so much history to read and look at here.
We didnt realize it was restaurant week in Spokane this weekend. We sampled the special menu and were very pleased with dinner and cocktails. We brought our daughter and son in law along. They had never been to the Steam Plant before. We will all definitely be back
It was perfect
Everything about the Steam Plant was impressive. Our amazing waitress was really what set it over the top. She was the best you could ask for! We will definitely be going back again to continue to eat our way through their delicious menu.
We had a perfect experience here! My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary, the food was delicious, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the ambiance was urban and fresh, and we loved every part. We will definitely return!
I love this restaurant and visit it every time I am in town. The food is good but I especially like how they used an old boiler steam plant and used it as the decor for the restaurant. The food came quickly and the staff was friendly.
I did not know the restaurant had changed hands. I had expectations of what I wanted from the menu so was disappointed by the selection. What I did order was very good but not what I had gone there for.
Good food. Drinks took very long time and server was absent for awhile. Awesome ambiance!!
Excellent service and the steelhead was outstanding.
Our Friday night "date night" in one of my favorite Spokane restaurants did not disappoint. My date had never been there before so it was great to tell him about the Steam Plant and show him around a bit after we had enjoyed some of your delicious brewed beer and brick oven pizzas! I always love going to the Steam Plant!
Our server was very attentive and I was particularly impressed with how he handled the free ice cream situation at the end with my child. He quietly said, "Do you want me to bring out that one thing, or...?" Thought is was very respectful that he allowed me to make the call, and knew not to blurt out "ICE CREAM" in front of a 4-year old.
Great place with great food. Definitely going back
Awesome venue repurposed from a steam plant to restaurant with fabulous food and brews.
The Pretzel appetizer was the highlight. Drinks were good and service was good. Dinner was just ok.
Food was AMAZING!!! I would DEFINITELY recommend it to everybody.
This place has been perfect. We fell in love with it the first time.
They served us refrigerator temperature soup and we were told that "the soup accidentally got turned off". Also the corned beef sandwiches were cold along with the fries.
Definitely a cool place. Menu was a bit disappointing, more pub food than restaurant quality. Food was good but I expected more from this place. Must go at least once though to experience it.
New Year’s Eve beers and dinner. I had salmon and my husband had the ribs. All of it was delicious.
Loved going there for New Year’s Eve. Food was delicious. I recommend the bacon chicken Mac.
Food always amazing. And the service was good. The selection was just enough next time we go back I have to get the fish and chips. And the Burgers look really good to.
Although it was expensive, we all enjoyed our meals. It’s such a unique place to take friends and family.
The old building was amazing, the food and service was equally as good.
Good food. I always get so hot in there. Good service. Nice bar.
Good for a special night out. The casual dress of the staff was fun, but seemed to contradict the food offerings and prices.
It was my wife’s birthday and Tad (our waiter) and the rest of the staff made the night memorable and fun!!!
The calamari starter was rubbery (overcooked) and soggy, fortunately it came in a very modest portion. The kale salad recommended by our server was bitter as one would expect with an uncooked kale dish, but the salad flavors were not well-balanced to make it enjoyable to consume. Also recommended by our server was the chicken bacon mac. The bland flavors were edible, but not enjoyable. The sauce lacked a thick rich creaminess and was not tasty. Though a box of Kraft macaroni with the powdered cheese-like based sauce is no one's idea of a "great" meal, it would have been more palatable than the lackluster pasta floating in a thin pool of tasteless sauce. The baby back ribs were cooked well and very tender, but the flavor of boilermaker barbecue sauce covering the ribs prevented us from finishing the dish. The beer cheese soup was very good, and was the only redeeming dish of the meal.
Four of us went to dinner at the Steam Plant prior to attending the Mannheim Steamroller concert. We arrived just prior to our reservation time and were immediately seated. The hostess was very friendly and professional. Our waitress was professional, friendly and attentive. We informed her of our concert time and she assured us she would get us served and out in time! Each of us had a different meal and for the most part everyone was satisfied. I had the shrimp fettuccine, the smoked Gouda sauce was delicious, the shrimp were tough, difficult to get off the skewer. My partner had the kale salad with chicken....it was delicious, flavorful. She would order it again.
Within walking distance of our hotel, good food, good beer and great service.
unique location, lots to look at and a good beer list
Devin was a great server. Made lots of recommendations.
