Stables Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
We brought friends here for their anniversary, and it was as special as anticipated! We had different entrees and all thought the food was excellent. The lobster bite appetizers were great as well. Service couldn’t have been better and overall, we had a marvelous dinner and evening. It’s a bit pricey so we’ll have to come special occasions, and we can’t wait to come back!
We've only been to Stables twice but both times it was very nice. The food is well prepared, the service has been good and the atmosphere is very pleasant. My wife and I are both very good cooks so we go out for convenience and atmosphere; Stables delivers both. It is a little pricey but quality usually does come at a price.
Had Peter as a server for my first ever visit to Stables and I could not have had a better experience. He made sure I was comfortable with all of my options and made great recommendations. One of the best servers I have ever had and made my experience one I will remember forever.
We were there for our Anniversary. We overheard that the couple beside us was also there for Anniversary. It seems like they were treated more with complementary items dessert or drinks. When I made reservations I had said that it is our anniversary. We had our full course meal which was amazing but would have been nice to be treated the same.
The food here is excellent as are both the ambiance and decor. Many of the tables are situated in what used to be the stalls (reconstructed) in the stable. The menu is quite pricey however. Entrees can run up to &60.00. As with most steak houses, everything is a la carte.
We were celebrating 3 birthdays. Our server was John. He was very informative concerning the menu and specials and went beyond the call of duty to accomendate our Grandson who is a very, very picky eater. Hats off the the whole “crew” for a wonderful evening! We will be back!
We have been twice now, once as a couples date and once as a family dinner with a guest. It has been wonderful both times, very private eating tables but not closed in, service is always very attentive and food has never disappointed us. We have tried several flavors of their martinis as well, loved them all. We will continue to visit!
My wife and I were celebrating our first year anniversary. I made reservations a week before. We were excited. After we ordered, we never seen our waiter again. We had to bug whoever was going by. Unacceptable. Couldn't get steak sauce for either of us. Only got one refill. Just very disappointed. Food was good, but would have been great with sauce and a drink.
Impressed from beginning to end. What a great meal in a unique environment. Food was outstanding to say the least. Staff was very helpful and made suggestions with the menu. Peter was an OUTSTANDING waiter. Would come again and request to be seated in his section. Provided many tips and recommendations which did not disappoint. You can tell these providers work as a team.
The atmosphere is relaxing, inviting and cozy with the dim lighting. The steaks were tender and delicious; mine was cooked perfectly, but my husband's was a bit overdone. The asparagus side dish only consisted of 4 spears, which was a bit disappointing considering the price. The wine and beer selections were great. The desserts were fabulous! We tried the peanut butter cheesecake and bread pudding. It's definitely a place we return to for dates and special events!
Excellent as always! We love the quiet and relaxed atmosphere and the great food. The service is always top notch and very personable with their own opinions and suggestions on different items when asked for reference. Bartender needs to sharpen skills and maybe gain more experience by learning how to make a proper Mai Tai rum drink but we lived through it to come back next time hoping they have it down.
