Relaxing and gorgeous scenery from Stables Restaurant. Delicious food. We had lunch, dinner, and breakfast, and they didn't hit a wrong note. The view from the restaurant of the pond and golf course--cows and ducks--was stunning.

First, it was hard to find. In the dark (when arrived) there was NO signage for it. I had to call the restaurant to get instructions. Finally, just at the front door, did I see the entrance sign, Prices were on the high side and food was ok, but not inspiring. Waiters were very friendly and cordial. I might go back during the day to see if lunch will be more pleasurable.

Our service was poor. The waiter seemed to also be the bartender or was busy inside the bar, while we were an outside table. I had to get up twice to ask for more water and iced tea and then to ask for a check and a to go box, and believe me, I was patient..

The wait staff at Stables are the very best. They are so attentive to specifics and the kitchen fulfill the orders as requested. I like my food hot and it is always served hot. Also, they do a great job with large groups which is a plus for us. Love Stables.

We dined at Stables Ranch Grille at the Tubac Golf Resort from Sunday night 11/12 through Thursday night 11/16/23 during our stay through the week. Every night we had different meals and all were just perfectly prepared and delicious. The servers we had each night were absolutely delightful and very efficient. I would recommend this restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner any day of the week.

We had an excellent experience eating in the dining room at Stables last night. We were seated at a window table. Wonderfully warm and attentive wait service as usual. We had the wedge salad with the baked baguette, and pork schnitzel -- both were very good. The wait team worked seamlessly together. It was a pleasure to leave the cooking to the pros.

We decided to eat outdoors under the full moon and listened to a beautiful guitarist who had the most amazing voice as well. The staff made a point of making our bd celebration memorable!!

Pitbulls belonging to guest were chasing me when I got of my car to go to the restaurant. We had 3 small children with us. The dogs were white pitbulls. Reported to hotel and police but no sure if resort did anything about it or notified guest dogs belonged to.

Unfortunately not worth the price. The short ribs tasted like pot roast and the "luxardo" cherries in the uno Mas cocktail were regular maraschino cherries. Husband ordered a rare steak and it was barely pink. Food was OK, just would eat somewhere else for the money!

We vacation here every year about this same time. We seem to eat at this restaurant less and less. The menu doesn't seem to change. The atmosphere is lovely and the scenery when dining outdoors is beautiful. The breakfast is great but the dinner has not been. There is one Vegan option on the menu which is what I ordered and it was so salty I couldn't finish it. There are 4 total in our party and no one really enjoyed their meal. The food was fine but guess we expected a little better given the price and everyone ordered something different each time. The service is always good and most of the staff friendly. I would really appreciate some more Vegan options but I realize some restaurants don't care to cater to this but this is an allergy issue for me so I have no choice. We would love to come more often especially since we are staying there but next year unless the menu changes will probably not be there for dinner.

This is a wonderful place for Sunday Brunch, especially when the weather is sunny and mild so you can eat on one of their two patios. We enjoyed ourselves very much and will return again soon!

Food was good but they were out of the entree selected by my dining companion as well as the bottle of wine we selected. Not a good look and diners should be informed of items that are not available ahead of time so they don't have to scramble to find a substitute. her second choice was not hot so obviuosly had been sitting for a while before we were served. We sat outside and it was very confortable except for a large table of loud women seating next to us. Not the restaurant's fault - at least they were outside.

We waited 15 minutes before anyone came to greet us. Once we finally ordered, they didn’t bring the kids drinks for another 10 minutes. They weren’t even busy. We were there before peak dinner time. My son ordered buttered noodles and they tasted like noodles that had been cooked two days ago and doused in oil not butter. The beans that were with my dish were so salty they weren’t edible and I like salty food. I got a steak and my husband got a pork chop and they didn’t bring steak knives which were needed because both were so tough. My husband ordered the tomahawk pork chop and the actual meat portion was maybe 6oz. This is not a “tomahawk” or worth $37. Don’t bother with the chocolate lava cake for dessert it is overpriced Duncan Hines cake mix with chocolate syrup. My glass of wine was warm and far from worth $22. The manager never stopped by the table. At one point the waitress asked him to come over and looked at us and walked away. We usually go to the resort once a year as a family. After our experience this time I’m not sure we’ll go back. They messed up our room reservation, they don’t maintain putting greens that my kids love to play and the restaurant was a below average experience.

First time visit on a hot day, a splendid retreat for a two hour lunch for a couple celebrating a birthday. Food presentation and appeal couldn't be improved. Need to go back for testing other menu items.

Truly outstanding! Our waitstaff was lovely and couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. I ordered the Pacifico Striped Bass with risotto, sautéed spinach and red chile beurre blanc. It was expertly prepared, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious. I love the creativity expressed in the risotto prepared with corn, pepper and nopals as those additions were unique and filled with Baja Arizona flair and personality. Nice wine list, wonderful baby arugula salad, excellent crème brulee. I look forward to our return and wish this restaurant many years of success.
