We visited the Biltmore for my husband’s birthday and could only get a reservation here for lunch. It was so good! The deviled eggs were not something I would normally think of as good but they were delicious. The burger was too!
Nice atmosphere and good food. I had the smoked pulled pork and my husband had the pork chop. We were both very happy with our meals.
The food was great. The service was 5 star. We will definitely come back.
I always enjoy eating there when everyone I visit the Biltmore. This time I splurged and preferred you pumpkin creme brûlée. I was a little disappointed at how dry the pumpkin consistency was- not really pudding like.
Our meal at the stable café was one of the best meals I have ever eaten! The service was great, the food was amazing, and the wine was great too.
The Stable Cafe is always a stop when we visit The Biltmore. We have enjoyed lunch and dinner and it has never disappointed. The selections are clean and tasty. A treat at every visit.
The food was awesome, our server Jessica was fantastic! She helped us make some great menu choices. Really enjoyed the meal.
Great lunch and service. Enjoyed and our tour.our day there
The food at Stable was amazing. The shrimp and grits is quite possibly the best I have ever had. The pumpkin bisque appetizer was so delicious as well. This was just a fantastic experience all the way around before a quick walk to Candlelight Christmas at the house!
Our server Carlos was awesome. Friendly and never kept us waiting. The place is neat. The food was okay. My filet was cooked perfectly and melt in your mouth. The sides weren't anything special. I really did not enjoy the greens at all. We also didn't love the deviled eggs. Very salty. It was our first time here though and I think we would still eat here again. The service was great.
I have not had a bad meal there. The hamburgers are great! The smores dessert is great!
I always eat at Stable Cafe when I am at Biltmore. My favorite place. Their desserts are great, and no one cooks collards like you get at Stable Cafe. They are delicious. The servers are all fantastic.
It’s great they offer gluten free buns, but it was served cold. Even when sent back, the 2nd bun which had grill marks was still cold on top. Pumpkin bisque was amazing!
Scott was excellent taking our order and fulfilling our requests. The pear salad was fabulous. Springer chicken very flavorful. If there was a negative, it was the choice of desserts; and the two we chose, dark chocolate mousse and remoulade, were very ordinary tasting.
Food taste and apperance was that of a low grade hotel at prices of $47+... Ridiculous!
Ate there 2 years ago and it was memorable.
Very enjoyable restaurant, good atmosphere. The food was very good. Had a party of 4 and all had a different dinner. Everyone said it was very good. Resembles a pub atmosphere.
Do recommend
Food was ok, main dish was tasteful and nicely set however sides were not as good. Also table was at the back of the place, secluded and unbalanced. It moved while cutting your meal. Our server was very friendly and helpful.
The food was good except the short ribs needed some type of sauce because it was dry the role that was served was just a basic role considering you’re at a four-star restaurant
The hostess and server were extremely friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful (Christmas theme still installed). The dinners were incredible.
I most definitely would dine at the Stable Cafe and encourage visitors to the Biltmore Estates to visit this restaurant for a superb dining experience.
Our server was great! The food was great! Experience was great!
Family vacation 1/5/21
Great service, very good food, wonderful ambiance.
We were surprised that the dinner menu was a candlelight dinner experience - lunch is simpler fare and that was what we expected as we arrived with our 3yo granddaughter. The staff was very accommodating and the food (three course meal priced between $40-70) was excellent. The "children's menu" was Real Food - also delicious. As our granddaughter is yet at the "only chicken tenders" stage, she ate the rolls and we will eat her meal a different day - it's big enough to share! lol
It is a beautiful setting for a restaurant. The lighting was relaxing, the decor was unique, clean and gorgeous. The service was what would expect of the definition for southern hospitality. From the hostess greeting us and seating us at our appointed time to Paul making sure we had everything we needed without overdoing it.
As for the food, it was good but it wasn't perfect or what would expect from being on the property of a grand estate as the Biltmore. Our dishes reminded me more of what one would get at large amusements parks like Disney. Dishes are based on what is easily prepared in advance in large batches and easily prepped up to serve. So if your expecting signature dishes delicately and proffessionally prepared for each individuals, this is not the place for a special night.
Despite minor issues with our plates (rice was way to al dente, braised beef could use some gravy and smoked chicken was a little dry) we don't regret coming and believe everyone should experience eating here once when visiting the Biltmore.
Delicious food great service and a beautiful time to visit
This is our favorite restaurant on the Biltmore estate. The food is superb-fresh, perfectly prepared, and delicious. The steak was almost fork-tender, and the desserts are outstanding. My favorite, however, is the Champagne Shrimp Salad which I had two evenings in a row!
Absolutely terrible. Our server was extremely weird and awkward. We were texted 30 minutes early. The hostess was rude. The food was terrible. Burger burnt, salmon was disgusting. We will not be dining here ever again
Delish food and fun and inviting atmosphere
We have dined here several times. The meal is always great and the service terrific.
The food s delicious and the service was excellent!
Excellent meal - I highly recommend the Stable Cafe for a savory meal.
It was wonderful and the food was fantastic!!!!! It is a must to check out while you are there!!
We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Was really glad to have the opportunity to eat on the estate and this was perfect.
Reservations were easy to make, the Stable Café was beautifully decorated for the Christmas Holiday, our appetizers, entrees and desserts were amazingly delicious and our waiter Whit was wonderful and a joy to talk too. High quality ingredients were prepared to perfection! We would most highly recommend the Stable Café for anyone who visits the Biltmore Estate!
Food was so good. My daughter is vegetarian and has trouble finding food that tastes as good as what she got here. All of us had a great meal. The service is excellent and the building is such a unique place to eat. Well worth going to.
Great New Year’s Day dinner for family’s first trip to Biltmore
Great food, great service, very clean, and it felt very COVID safe. Loved it.
It was busy for mid afternoon, but we were sat immediately with our reservation. Loved the atmosphere and booths in the old horse stalls.
My husband and I both ate one of the burgers. It was cooked as ordered and tasted very good. We would recommend the burger and fries.
